Grabbed a Large Dom's steak Tip sub with onions and peppers for 19 dollars (tax excluded) It was excellent and the sub was great to absorb all the juices! Great spot! Service was friendly and fast. The staff working here is amazing! What a lovely bunch of people. The store itself is super cute with a great selection of specialty foods. We ordered the steak tips and sausage dinners. The sausage was delicious, the grill char really makes it. Steak tips had good flavor but were a little chewy. Portions were ok. We plan on coming back and trying more food! read more

Consistently great steak tip subs- I get the large with cheese and onions. The bread doesn't get sloppily soaked in the juices which I look for. The marinade on the steak tips was great, along with the amount of onions and meltiness of the cheese. Onion rings were heavy on the breading but still good. Price was a tad high but get it's what they're known for- worth trying out for yourself! read more

Friendly staff. Clean store. Limited seating. Decent value for a steak tips dinner. -- Steak Tips: Proclaimed by many as among the best in the business, if not the best, were underwhelming at best. Small. Tough. And while glistening on top, dry inside (even at medium rare). Sugary thin sauce. Rice Pilaf: Now this was good. Fluffy, moist, good portion. Lots to like, but not the thing I came in for, which was disappointing. read more

Dom's has to be (I cannot confirm or deny) a type of place that falls into the category of: you get what you pay for. The prices are high! Example: the calzones near the register. Not that large but they were charging $32! FOR A CALZONE! Immediately my husband told me: their prices are high! I am sure their marinades are tasty but I just couldn't bring myself to pay their prices. We walked out with kielbasa and linguica. I found them priced slightly less expensive than my local grocer. We had the kielbasa last night and it was good. But nothing super special. (I can share it's cool that they sell beer inside the deli.) read more

Really unbelievable! Food is excellent. Service is excellent. Our food was delivered from Malden to Lexington and it was hot - two days in a row. I love how they label the bread and give each order their own plastic bag with cutlery and condiments. My co-workers and I are so impressed. Thank you for the great experience! read more

How my favorite spot would ever get below. 5 star rating is beyond me. Everything speaks of perfection. Service top notch. My sister and I sat down for lunch inside due to rain. It's casual but who cares. You are here for the food. We split the lg steak tip sub with cheese. When something is so flavorful without any condiments. We also got a hot sausage with onion pepper and spice mustard. Another gold star. Note- if you're unhappy with something I'm sure of it's reasonable; it will be taken care of. read more

The amount of times I've gotten food here is crazy. What's crazier is the fact that I never wrote a review! When you think Boston, you should think doms. The official steak tip of the Pats is a title rightfully given. Theo steak tips marinade is so good, I regret not picking up some Before my flight leaving Boston. I brought my boyfriend home from The south and he loved his steak bomb, I opted for the Caesar salad with steak tips and I Could tell he wished she got the steak tips lol! Well priced, and gets a little busy at lunch time. This is a first responders hub! Whether you're getting something from the deli side or the butcher shop, you'll enjoy your meal, especially with the bread from paintedosi . Long love doms. read more

Dom 's Great marinated steak tips- To die for tells it all. Expensive yes but well worth the splurge. Don't ever complain when you have to pay $9.00# for a lobster from a grocery store or a lobsterman. These are current prices in Portland Maine & surrounding areas. Dom 's incredible steak tips are $22.00/# & worth it. I have 15#'s of chicken parts I'll be marinating them in Dom's marinade for this weekend s soirée. I expect nothing short of sensational. To be continued. read more

Babe is working out in Boston and frequently goes to Dom's for the steak tips so he was not letting me leave without trying them. They were delicious so tender with this sweet flavorful flavor from the marinade. Dom's look like a typical deli/meat market. It was a nice day so we sat outside and enjoyed our food. read more

The quality and portions of the food at this establishment does not justify its price. The sides were definitely pre packaged from a food service company, most likely sysco or us foods. 12.50 for nine mozzarella sticks? If I am going to pay that price, I expect them to be made in house or special . Nothing special about these. The portions were minuscule, and the prices were exorbitant . Youre better off getting food at a more reasonable cost at other place in Malden or Everett and it will literally be the same and cheaper and bigger portions. read more

A fan of the steak tips and sausage . First and last on the meatball sausage combo . Slow morning no one in line simple request please put raw onions on it , got the sandwich and no onions and it gets better I should have ordered two of them because for a large It was depressing . I'm sticking with New Deal on the meatballs . I'll still buy for the grill at home but. Nothing worse than still being hungry after a $17 Sammy soda and chip read more

Those Steak Tips Once you walk in the door you can smell the grill as hot sandwhiches are being prepared.Adjacent to the main room is the meat shop lined with shevles full of exciting delicious meats. food is fine, but alongside food apparently they serve attitude. walked in and ordered a sub and they called out another sub which i thought was mine. paid for it and walked out when they told me to come back in because i had the wrong one, no problem it was my fault. the lady taking the food back from me gave me attitude over a simple mistake. Really? How come u gotta turn a simple hand off into a bad experience? Giving 2 stars except one only because the food is not bad lol. But beware to anyone else, god forbid you make a mistake in their store. read more

I had a small event and asked for server to help. They sent two!!! They were fabulous!!! Lina was one and I did forget the other woman's name, but they were both friendly and professional!! They set up and took down everything! They even went around and with my pastries I bought from another company serving them! They cleaned away dishes off the tables, which I didn't expect! Gave me setup suggestions, which worked out perfectly!!! Amazing servers!! I could not get enough compliments from my guests on the food itself. Everything we ordered was delicious right down to the glazed carrots!! Steaks tips and the chicken Marsala was the hit of my guests! Dom's was very generous in the size of their full trays and everyone left in a food coma! I highly recommend Dom's for catering! I wish I lived closer to Malden to visit their store regularly, but I will be sure to take the trip at least once a month! read more

we had always wanted to try Dom's steak tips, and they are known for their sausages too so we thought it was a great combination to get the combo. there were only a couple of dinner plates- come with 2 sides. their sides came in 2 tiny small containers as seen. we had to say that the sauce they used to marinate the steak tips was yummy and their steak tips were very tender. their sausages were like regular sausages. if it was a dinner portion, we thought there were more. read more

OMG.. I was so sad when I went to Doms... I hadnt been in years and have been dying to go somewhere other than McKinnons (Have lived across the street for more than 20 yrs & just wants a change)... so I knew they were a Meat Place... So I walk in & the place is tiny - I obviously dont remember this place at all, the Deli line was long (Never knew they sold already prepared food)... I looked around & was like "Wheres the meat", then noticed the cooler doors open next to me & then in I walked... IT WAS FREEZING.... Steak Tips were outrageously expensive, I looked around at other things & they were all just WAY overpriced... I was very disappointed... We got a small pack of Steak Tips, a package of American Cheese & 1 pint of Macaroni Salad w/ Italian Dressing and spent $34.... Will not go back... I know they have good catering, but as far as the store - wont be a shopper! read more

I used to love coming here for a good meat selection, especially the steak tips. However, the prices have just become outrageous. There is no reason to come here when I can get the same items for the same quality elsewhere at much lower prices. Food: (Hot Pastrami Sandwich on bulkie roll with provolone cheese and chopped onions) The pastrami was hot and stringy just like I wanted. The mound of steaming pastrami along with the melted provolone and cooked onions really gave the whole sandwich the miasma of flavors you'd expect from a well established sandwich/sub shop. The only thing which kept this from hitting five stars is the overall saltiness of the pastrami. It could be that a bulkie roll was not enough to offset the salt level of the meat but I would have expected Dom's to go a little lighter on the salt since they layer a very generous portion of it in your sandwich. Overall: Will definitely go back to try some of their daily specials! read more
