Grabbed takeout from Pisa Pizza in Malden and it definitely hit the spot. I ordered a pepperoni pizza with pineapple (yes, I'm that person ) and it was really solid. The crust had a nice chew, plenty of toppings, and good flavor overall. It's not trying to be "gourmet pizza," but it doesn't need to be -- it's tasty, reliable, and exactly what you want when you're craving a good takeout pie. I'll be back for sure. Solid 4/5 I'm from NJ so I have high expectations for pizza. If you're looking for a basic, not too fancy, take out pie (or even to eat there) Pisa Pizza is your place. This used to be the absolute best pizza I've had in my life. It is a bit pricey so we don't get it super often, but a half-tray of the chicken pesto was so delicious and also HUGE. We would go out of our way to Malden from Charlestown and also stop at the ATM so we could pay cash; that is how good this pizza was. I don't know what happened between last time and the pizza we just got last night, but quality went way down. It tasted completely different. I don't know if it's the sauce or the cheese or what, but it was NOT the Pisa Pizza I know and love. it's a shame to give this only 3 stars because the food is great. the pizza and boneless wings are delicious, esp garlic parm. However, the service brings the experience down. If the pick up order is going to take 40 minutes, why tell the customer 10 and have me standing around? You should out realistic times for pick up orders. To start off, I was charged more for my grilled chicken salad then what the prices that were posted. I mentioned it to the girl at the counter, and she said - oh ya... we have to fix that board. Does the owner realize it's against thr law to charge more than the posted price? My Sicilian cheese was fine, flavor was alright. My main complaint is that the dough (IMHO) is the wrong kind to use for a Sicilian. It tastes like they use the same dough on a thin crust and Sicilian, which is not what I am looking for in the flavor of my dough when I want a Sicilian pizza. We called about 30 minutes before they close, so they were no longer offering delivery, but the pick-up process was very smooth. Great place for quality pizza! I started getting pizza here during quarantine to support local businesses. The staff is so friendly and they make pickup a breeze. You call them once you're in their parking lot and they bring your food right to your car! I usually get the Pisa Pizza Deluxe which includes a good mix of meat (pepperoni, meatball, sausage) and vegetables (mushrooms, black olives, peppers and onions) on top of 3 cheese blend. Yes, the slice was piping hot where the sauce had scald the roof of my mouth but the pizza is so delicious I couldn't hold back from not eating it. I'd also like to give it the best pepperoni award. I've never tasted pepperoni so flavorful and REAL. It tastes like it was never processed and the pig was well fed and made ready the day of. Amazing. We ordered 2 pizzas, one thin crust and one sicilian. Both were in terrible condition when they arrived, likely due to not being secured properly in the car. The pizza was difficult to eat and serve because of the way the cheese and toppings were strewn about, and it was very messy. The taste was decent, but it wasn't a good experience. We called to try to get some compensation, and were only given $10 as a future credit to use. We would have liked to see a refund, or a larger future credit, as $10 was not enough to even cover one pizza. Overall disappointing. read more

Delivery driver on friday night at 7:45 on Salem Street Malden almost broadsided me as I pulled into my driveway. Had my blinker on, he passed on the right in the parking spots.
