Crazy Good Kitchen is solid. Really good smash burgers, but I'd recommend doubling up on the patties, the single is pretty thin. The extra patty costs $5, which feels a little steep, but it definitely makes the burger much better. The regular fries are crispy and really well done. We also tried the spicy fries since we love heat, but beware: they were heavily caked in seasoning to the point where it became overpowering and a bit unpleasant. Overall, really good burgers and fries. Shell out the extra $ for double patty and maybe skip the spicy upgrade. read more

Stumbled upon this place via Google and an overwhelming urge to not cook dinner last night. Was craving something hearty and heavy and the menu looked like it could satisfy those needs. Pretty simple and straightforward menu; a burger smorgasbord, chicken sandwiches galore, and a variety of loaded fries. Honestly, for something so straightforward I had trouble choosing, but eventually settled on Steak Bomb fries and 10 chicken wings. I know, not a burger or a chicken sandwich, but the fries looked so damn good. "You can't judge a book by its cover" need not apply. The entree tasted better than it looked. Shredded steak, melty cheese, sautéed peppers and onions, piled high on golden, crispy, thick cut french fries and topped with fresh chopped parsley. Still steaming upon arrival and smelling like they were heaven sent. The various flavors were so distinct yet somehow merged to create one mouthwatering unique experience of its own. Absolutely delicious. The wings were okay, but seemed a little dry and fairly small in size. I didn't like how there was only one option when ordering the 10 piece, even the sauce option was either "burnt butter mayo" or "barbecue". No garlic parm? Nothing with some heat? Either way, they were decent enough, just not something I'd order again. Did I mention we ordered delivery? The speed and accuracy in which we received order was outstanding and worth noting. We're 20 minutes from the place in a suburb of Boston and had our food in under an hour. Impressive! Overall, the Steak Bomb fries won me over. We also got plain fries and the buffalo chicken fries. The plain fries were just that - Very plain, no frills. The Buffalo chicken fries were well done, but again, the fry itself is just mildly decent. The inside of the restaurant is a small, carryout only style spot. I believe in the summertime there are a few chairs on the patio. I would like to try this spot again, and would love to see the quality of ingredients improve, and more properly reflect the price point!! Side note, the customer service here is very good. The chicken sandwich wasn't any better; it felt soggy and undercooked, which made it hard to enjoy. Overall, the experience was underwhelming, and this is definitely not a place I'd return to. The only positive was the steak bomb fries they were cooked very well the seasoning was excellent and the cheese was on point. The shakes are just meh ice cream in a cup with whip cream. They look good but are way to thick therefore undrinkable . Came here on a Thursday afternoon and the food was absolutely phenomenal. One of the best burgers I've ever had anywhere, perfectly seasoned and juicy. The pictures really dont do it justice. My partner got a hot chicken sandwich and it was as good as the best of Nashville. I am seriously impressed with the flavor and quality. And the staff is friendly (always a plus). CGK only has a few bar seats on the outside, and no 'indoors'. The building is a small diner cart that houses ~2 employees - so I can see there being longer waits during peak hours or weekends. There was a few people ahead of us, but we only waited about 10 minutes. Great find - really looking forward to coming back here. read more

The person clicked a lot of stuff on his tablet didn't let me see it then took my card and put it in. The price sounded more than normal to me but I still tipped anyways. When I got my receipt I saw that they had charged me a "house fee" of 20% before tax. While it was only a coupon bucks, I wish they would've disclosed it as it felt kind of sneaky. This place makes some very good looking food. I've been dying to try them and am glad I finally did! Ordered the Fry Me Up, 'Merica Style Single w/ extra cheese on the side, and a House Açaí. I have always wanted to have my own personal vat of liquid cheese and this is 100% an option here! The portion size is good and the extra cheese is very generous. The 'Merica style is a very delicious, almost perfect cheese burger topped with cheese, pickles, and onions on a sesame brioche bun. Dip it in a side of extra cheese, to feel extravagant. The Fry Me Up is a fried chicken sandwich with a brioche bun, pickles, lettuce and ranch. For the fried chicken they use chicken thigh, which is fine, but not such a happy thing when the thighs aren't properly trimmed. There were some rather big globs of fat. I would have preferred it to be cooked a bit longer, it was definitely fully cooked, but not as much as I would have liked. Lastly, the chicken was bland, could use some seasoning, honestly a pinch of salt would have done the job, definitely needed all those topping. Lastly, the House Açaí. Açaí topped with your choice of all, some or none of bananas, strawberries, granola and dried milk (leite ninho or leche nido). Great price point for all of those toppings. This is Açaí the Brazilian way, delicious. Overall definitely lives up to the hype for the burgers, but I was a bit disappointed with the chicken sandwich. Came here after randomly coming across their IG. So glad I did!! We ordered online 30 min prior and I received a text a couple mins before arriving that it was ready. It's super easy to find with a good sized parking lot. We ordered the merica burger, the bacon bird, and a strawberry shake. The shake is perfect or maybe I'm just biased because I like strawberry flavored anything. We finished it before we got back home. The burger is juicy and cheesy; it just had a little too much Mayo for me. The cheese wasn't fully melted but not a big deal. The chicken sandwich is definitely one of the best I've ever had. Suuupper crispy, as well as the bacon on it. I don't like my sandwiches loaded with condiments so I preferred the chicken one. Pretty simple yet so tasty. What a great place ! We were in Malden for the afternoon and saw this on yelp. It looks like it was once a trailer and inside that trailer is some of the best food I've ever had. The young man at the window was very friendly. We didn't have to wait long for our food. It was hot out and the seating area is small so we ate in the car. If you have a big group you may not all fit inside. Don't let that deter you , the food is fabulous ! I had a fried chicken sandwich , Nashville hot ! So many tasty spices. You know those fast food commercials that show a burger that looks good on screen, but you know that once you order it you're facing disappointment? Well CGK is the OPPOSITE of that. The pictures don't capture their food adequately, but it is 100% satisfying. This unassuming diner, with outdoor patio seating, always has guests hanging around. It's probably more noticeable these days as their indoor capacity maxes out at 2. The first thing I noticed was how perfectly the box held the burger: the brioche bun fit just so in it and everything looked perfectly held together. This is further confirmed biting into it: the pickles are spaced evenly, the sauces meld together for flavor, the patty is cooked just right to have a slight crisp on the edges but inside holds a slight shade of pink. I don't normally call myself a burger person (I only crave it like 3x a year), but this was literally perfection. Their chicken tenders are also fried perfectly. The flavor is really strong though, and on the salty side. True to its name, the Better-Than-Ketchup is better than normal ketchup. Pro-tip: Order extra sauces and combine it (or regular ketchup) with their Butter Mayo for a tasty dip for their fries... if you can resist their loaded options. Extra tip: I've ordered at 11AM and 3PM to avoid the peak hours and the food was ready within 15 minutes. There's Maplewood park a couple blocks away and a shopping plaza if you really need to kill time during peak hours. read more

Expect a decent wait time for your food, but most definitely worth it. I would go back and wait again. We ordered ahead of time, knowing it would take longer. Online it said 25-35 minutes, but it wound up taking more like 75 minutes. The place is rather small, so people were scattered around the outside and parking lot waiting for their food. We went around to the other side where there are a few stools to eat the food on a bar-like railing. This worked out perfectly because we had a place to sit while we waited and a place to eat since we ubered there, many people ate in their cars. We were very excited when they texted us saying our order was ready. It was so fresh and hot. The chicken on the sandwiches were incredible; it was so crispy and perfectly cooked. We also got the buffalo chicken fries, which were also really cooked, but the fries were a tad over done. And of course we also had to get the cookie milkshake, again, it was amazing. Their fried chicken sandwich is the BEST fried chicken sandwich I've had. That buttermilk ranch is so good. Seems like they use dark meat for their sandwiches which is maybe why it's so flavorful. Yummy cheesy fries. I like that cheese sauce but it is a little more on the salty side. But still good. Fries was perfectly crispy! Wait time was longer than estimated in my confirmation email but not a big deal since it is covid times. Price point is more on the expensive side. Every time we asked about our order they told us, "I'll be out soon." The peanut butter slide ($15) was good but definitely not worth $15. It was straight up a cup filled of soft serve ice cream with whip cream, melted peanut butter, about 15 pieces of Reese's pieces, 2 Hershey bars, and a small Reese's cup. This was probably worth $8 IMO. The bacon cheese fries ($7) were disgusting and soggy. We ordered the Fry Me Up ($9) and But Make It Spicy ($9) and both chicken sandwiches were good and super filling but the chicken batter was way too crispy and burnt. After every bite we tasted and smelt the burnt oil... it was pretty disturbing. Overall, CGK is OK. Not the best chicken spot people hype about. This was definitely not worth the 2 hour wait. I would recommend ordering directly on their website rather than any third party app because DoorDash overcharges. If you're not in a rush, check this place out. Just be prepared to wait hours. It was great - had several toppings including honey and condensed milk. However, I was a bit disappointed with the Fried Chicken Goodness sandwich. Although it was huge, I still felt like it was a bit expensive at $9. I opted for a fried piece of chicken for the sandwich, so I was expecting a crispy piece of chicken breast. The Hot Mess And Cheese is one of the more expensive options, but is so worth it. It's essentially the best burger you've had with shaved steak and cheese sauce. I got their chicken tenders, fries and a chocolate milkshake. My boyfriend got their spicy fried chicken sandwich and fries. We ordered online and picked it up. They have signs on the door for some Covid rules and are strict with it. We witnessed a group of teenagers (6~) walk in and one of the employees asked them all to leave and order online, outside.
