Solid burgers. Got delivery, then twice more. Would have them again. Can only order medium on the app. Curious to see how they are medium rare. Appreciate the gluten free bun and lettuce wrap options. read more

This place is yummy! I enjoyed the spicy fried chicken sandwich and the steak and cheese fries! The chicken tenders should be paired with sauces which I forgot to add on to it. Got the Hot Mess burger and it was fantastic. Highly recommend. One of the most tasty burgers I've had in awhile. Got the Buffalo chicken fries which were good. Fries could be more crispy for my liking but overall the flavors worked well together with their blue cheese sauce added. read more

I've had quite a few burgers in my day, and Crazy Good Kitchen is my undisputed favorite of all time. This is my go to place when friends and family come visit. Their burgers melt in your mouth, I have no idea how they make them so tasty. I have had dreams about them. You literally can't go wrong here. Everything I've ever ordered has been on my list of favorite things. Their buffalo fries are spectacular (the crispy chicken they put on top is so good) and their milk shakes are incredible too. I am really rooting for the success of this business because I can't imagine my life without this food. The world is better with CGK in it. I don't think I can 'fangirl' any harder. read more

Açaí of relief because this trip to Malden was SO worth it for the amazing fried chicken sandwich and açaí cup that I had (the first of many!!) It took a while to understand the Popeye's sandwich hype, but once you get to try the BUT MAKE IT SPICY chicken sandwich from CGK, you'll never turn back. It's soooo much better in every way possible. This sandwich was fresh, hot, and super crispy- especially since you get the mixed slaw and pickles WITH the fried chicken? SO CRISPY. I'm not going to lie it was really hard eating this sandwich gracefully because it's huge (beautiful fried chicken to brioche bun ratio) and has creamy buttermilk ranch dripping on the sides. Needless to say, it was worth every dirty napkin that I had to use after LOL. TOO GOOD! Then the AÇAÍ CUP- WOW was I excited for that one. They come in three different cup sizes. I got the standard medium size which is capable of being a meal on its own. All sizes get the choice of strawberries, bananas, granola, and dried milk + a free drizzle (I got PB). The consistency was perfectly thick. I loved that the toppings were distributed throughout the cup and not just all on top! In comparison to the fried chicken sandwich, the açaí was cold, refreshing, and smooth. I've been trying to find a good place in Boston to get an açaí bowl that's actually worth it, so I'm really excited for their Newbury debut in the fall. Catch me there ALL the time. I can't wait to try their burgers and Crazy Good Shakes!! read more

Ehh, I wasn't all that impressed. I came here on Fathers Day, I wanted to take my dad to get some yummy breakfast to start his day of spoilage. The seating is horrible for a place that provides dine in options for food. There are bar style seating inside, not many might I add, and the bar area for you to eat on is a bit too short. We originally opt d to sit outside, since that's where the actual seats and tables are, and we were extremely uncomfortable. We were in direct sunlight, and when we moved to another table, we were right in front of the door. It was actually miserable! We chose to move inside when there were seats available, and were uncomfortable there too. The food wasn't bad, I will say that. And the service wasn't bad either, but the food took a long time to make, and it didn't seem that busy for us to wait almost an hour for two breakfast plates that were mostly eggs. M I don't think I'll be back, unless I'm grabbing a quick milkshake or ordering out. read more

Came back today to try their açaí bowl. I got a large açaí which was $15 which comes with two toppings and one drizzle. Extra toppings for extra charge. I chose strawberries and bananas with honey drizzle. The açaí is sweet enough that next time I would likely omit the honey. Overall I enjoyed the açaí, good texture and flavor! A bit pricey but most açaí bowls are when you're paying for quality! read more

Crazy Good Kitchen - But Make It Spicy - Chicken Wings Near Me - Malden, Massachusetts

Who said you had to choose between a chicken sandwich or a burger?? Just grab both!!! Today I had the pleasure of visiting Crazy good kitchen or CGK for short. They specialize in burgers and chicken sandwiches with some milkshakes sprinkled in. The burger I got was the Double Trouble, two Beefy Patties, American Cheese, Bacon & Pickled Onions. Even with the large size the burger was surprisingly juicy and had flavor in every bite, it wasn't too much of a meaty flavor. The chicken sandwich is undeniably the best part of this location. I had gotten the spicy chicken sandwich: Buttermilk Fried Chicken, Mixed Slaw, House Pickles & Homemade Buttermilk Ranch. It wasn't all too spicy and had a great flavor to it, chicken was moist on the inside with a great crispy exterior. Definitely one of the best chicken sandwiches I've had. I also had the steak and cheese fries! These weren't anything special to be honest, they were just regular potato fries with shaved steak and cheese whiz on top. Would not get again. Overall this was a great place to stop and grab a burger with a chicken sandwich. If you're ever in the area I would definitely give this place a try. Recommendations: Double trouble burger, Spicy chicken sandwich. Location: 906 Eastern Ave, Malden, MA 02148 read more

Fresh and tasty burgers. Had the spicy chicken sandwich and it was perfectly cooked. There's some space outside to eat, but not a good location for winter since the seating area isn't conditioned. The staff was friendly and helped with the order. Would go again. read more

NATT gets around folks. We made a quick run by C.G.K and grabbed some bites. The line was long/a bit of a wait. We were excited because we knew this meant good eats. We were feeling chicken today guys. NO BURGERS this time. Let's just right into this. - Fry me up & But Make it Spicy: Both sandwiches fried to perfection. Overall flavors were there. We would be mad if they added another dash of salt, but we would run it back as it. The spicy version come with a nice slaw that compliments the spicy sauce and buttermilk ranch. - French Fries: It is your standard French fry. Nothing to scream about. Maybe a harder fry would be a nice touch and a little dusting of LAWRY's could upgrade it. The portion is big and definitely shareable. - Steak and cheese Fries: A little heavy on the cheese, seeing as it is not the best quality cheese lol. However, the steak is hittin. Ask for less cheese and be prepared to eat quick as the French fries get soggy quick. *OUR MILKSHAKE BRINGS ALL THE BOYS TO THE YARD* - Oreo: TORCH. That's it. That's all. - Peanut Butter Slide: Now listen Linda, this peanut buttery goodness makes you want to SLAP YO MAMA. All respect to the mothers out there. But when I tell you this is rich and needs to be shared. Enjoy this and the calories that come with it. NATT rates this a 8.5/10 and "Seasoned". We will be back when we go visit our Boston family. I would really like for CKG to be consistent with there quality. Chicken sandwiches were oily and not crispy as usual. read more

Great burgers and chicken. The burger style reminds me a bit of the Five Guys or Shake Shack in terms of the patty, however it feel like you get more meat than with Shake Shack and it is less greasy than Five Guys. Not only that but the buns that CGK uses much better quality buns, which elevate the burger beyond its competitors. My wife got the chicken fingers, and by all appearances they looked very nice. Definitely not a frozen chicken finger thrown into a deep fryer (for which there is a time and place, don't get me wrong...). The one thing that will make me hesitate to come back is the fries. They really need to up their game. Half the time I want a burger, I make a mean one at home, so what often makes me go out for a burger is the addition of fries. These felt like cheap freezer fries to me, and while I like these burgers better that Five Guys, I would probably go to FG next time because of the french fries. read more

If you're craving a burger, this is the place to go! The burgers are big and juicy and their better than ketchup sauce is so good. The buffalo chicken fries was amazing too. Everything was delicious. highly recommend read more

Tried to call in an order for pick-up but apparently they do not accept orders over the phone. Wanted to try their spicy tenders (since all of their chicken sandwiches are made with dark meat) without the pickles but there was no way to order that online. Ended up driving to the restaurant to place my order. Very small interior with just a counter and two barstools. Placed my order and was asked to wait outside for a text confirmation. 3 chicken tenders came to $10.50 with tax. Received a text to pick up the order 10 minutes after placing. Tenders were definitely hand battered and freshly made. The "make it spicy" reminded me of Nashville Hot Chicken. Oil based sauce with heavy dry seasoning. Good quality food but between the ordering difficulty and above average price, I'm not going to rush back. read more

Ordered 2 burgers w/ double patties. Upon getting home we realized they were both single patties but we were charged for double. Tried calling the store to explain, was directed to their site. Went on their site to submit a message, did not receive a reply for about a week. They told me they were going to issue a refund. Almost a month later, no refund. Customer service is also iffy. I placed pickup order, received a text saying it was ready for pickup. I went in and was promptly chased out, saying i will receive a text when its ready. I show her the text and give her the name, but she said its still not ready. Waited an extra 15 mins for her to realize that the order was indeed ready, but she didnt realize it. read more

First time coming and was very surprised to see how tiny this place was! It is adorable! While the seating is limited it has a great charm to it. The prices were a bit high. The milkshakes at 15$ but you really do get what you pay for because they were delishious!! Amazing presentation and tasted incredible!! The burgers were also really delicious as well. I will definitely be coming back. Probably when it's nice out since they do have patio seating to accommodate the lack of indoor seating. I would also love to try one of their acai bowls. read more

While the burgers and shakes were solid, service is just as important. CGK is incredibly busy, and that's awesome. They should be proud of their success especially during these difficult times. I am completely cool with long waiting times. But when your given an expected pickup time(in this case I ordered at 6pm, the order eta was 7pm) and you don't receive your food for 90 mins after your pick up time, its a problem they need to work on. The staff was frustrated And short as many customers were upset over their wait times and I totally get it, yet it only amplified the problem. I write this review to help other people, and right now my help is to suggest you go here but not on a weekend. The frustration to wait in the cold for over two hours is not a fun experience and it should be avoided until they have a better process read more

I wanted to review this place higher, but can't. I'll tell you, presentation, 5 stars for sure. And that alone is why I rated this place even a 2. The spicy chicken sandwich was tasty but so fatty. I never want to bite into fatty chicken. That threw the entire experience off for me. The hot mess burger, was just too much!!! Wet/ fatty burger and the cheese was like a cheese wiz. It was messy and just wrong. The Buffalo chicken fries, decent, however, the ranch should be placed on the side or there should be a clearer option when ordering to allow you to get it on the side. This won't be a place we revisit. If I was going to make any recommendations for people that are still wanting to try, and I suggest you experience it yourself... stay basic with your burger. If you get fries that have anything on them, sauces should be on the side unless you like soggy things. Share your side, because it's a lot of food. And I hope your experience is better then ours was. read more

Fry Me Up - $9 But Make it Spicy - $9 Bacon Cheese Fries - $7 I'm Crazy for Cookies - $15 Crazy Good Kitchen is a Brazilian-owned family business located right in Malden, Ma. This is a hidden gem that I've been meaning to visit for a while. If you're looking for some great burgers, açaí bowls & milkshakes, this is the spot! If you guys thought Popeyes chicken sandwich was good, wait till you try CGK's. The regular & spicy chicken sandwich both have fried chicken, pickles, & homemade buttermilk ranch. The "But Make it Spicy" includes a spicy fried chicken instead & coleslaw. Both are honestly amazing. Super crispy, not greasy, juicy & FRESH. If you're a spicy lover, I'd definitely recommend the spicy sandwich. The bacon cheese fries were alright but salty! Next time I'll try the steak cheese fries. My friends had the Double Trouble + the Hot Mess. They raved about how it was bomb so I guess I have to try that next time as well. Normally, I don't drink milkshakes but I'm so happy that I ordered the "I'm Crazy for Cookies" shake. This milkshake is rich, creamy and THICK. It was honestly hard to get it up the straw at times, but it's legit amazing. It consists of Oreo & Cookie Dough. The milkshake is blue due to food coloring, so be aware it can leave a blue stain on your mouth. It's a bit pricey for a milkshake, but understand it's an over-the-top milkshake so it makes sense. If you're looking for a cheaper milkshake, the classic shakes are available. The staff is super sweet & helpful. I've heard a lot of great things about their açaí bowls, which I'd love to try soon. Also, if you didn't know...they're opening a second location on Newbury St very soon. Check them out y'all! Disclaimer: CGK is located in a very small diner so keep that in mind if you bring a large group. There isn't much seating space indoors, but there are a few stools for outdoor seating. If the weather doesn't permit, I would treat it as a pick up order. read more

My girlfriend and I saw this trending spot online everywhere and decided to give it a try. We ordered a Spicy Chicken Sandwich and a 3PC Chicken Tenders (2 items). We ordered at 7:30PM and was notified that it'll be ready by 8:30PM. We were surprised because 1 hour is kinda long.. but its fine, no big deal. ..... 2 hours had passed and we are still are waiting outside the diner in the freezing cold. When we asked them how long our order will take, their response was "I dont have a specific time its gonna be like 1 more hour"... after an hour has already passed. Not sure why the wait was so long but it was just unacceptable. If customers are told the food will be ready in 1HR, WE EXPECT THE FOOD TO BE READY IN 1HR, NOT 2HRS+ JUST FOR A SANDWICH AND A COUPLE OF TENDERS. Overall the food was actually not that bad. The Chicken Sandwich and Chicken Tenders' were very plump and very juicy which is a plus. However, the level of spiciness was very minimal. The chicken tasted very well with the buttermilk ranch and buffalo sauce. Please work on the wait time. Also, if it is near closing hours, stop taking orders from Grubhub/Doordash or whatever delivery service you are using. Focus on the 20 people waiting outside for the past 2 hours and get their food to them. If it takes 2 hours to get food ready, then I dont think you guys should be offering delivery services because it is just not fair to the drivers/customers to wait that long. Would I come back here? Maybe in the summertime when it is nice out because waiting outside for more than 2 hours for a chicken sandwich really kills the experience. ** Updated** After reading past reviews of this place, it seems as if wait time is a HUGE KNOWN problem here. Has management done ANYTHING to try and make this place get their food our faster? Is there 1 chef working at all times? This place has so much potential if it wasnt for the wait time... read more

What an awesome find in Malden! Crazy Good Kitchen is a tiny, cozy little place (it looks like a cute trailer!) specializing in breakfast items, burgers, shakes, & acai bowls. When we walked in on a Saturday early afternoon, we were greeted by the extra-friendly staff who offered us free samples of their acai and froyo. Both were delicious! There are some stools (probably 10-15 or so) up against the wall where you can sit and enjoy your meal, but you don't want to come here with a large group (or really with any group). They do offer takeout and to go orders though. I ordered a small House Crazy Acai Bowl, and it was spectacular. It comes topped with super fresh fruit, granola, non-fat dried milk, and your choice of honey or sweetened condensed milk (I went with the honey). It tasted like a guilty pleasure, but I also felt kinda healthy. Perfect! My husband's burger and fries were tasty too. Note that this place specializes in huge, creative burgers & truly over-the-top milkshakes, so it's an ideal place to go if you're feeling like a treat. Their hours are limited, so check before you plan your visit! It's a visit worth making though. I love quality, unique local places like this where the food does not disappoint. read more

Pretty good food, a little pricey too. The Malden location is small, most of the building is the kitchen and they've got an area for eating indoors. I ordered the double trouble with two patties, an order of Steak and Cheese fries, and a "I'm crazy for cookies" shake. The burger was great. It's a lot like a Shake Shack burger, except bigger and probably more burger for your dollar. (It's still pricey like Shack Shack) The steak and cheese fries was good too, especially the steak which was very tender. I generally don't believe you should eat fries with nacho cheese though, although this one was better than the Shake Shack version of cheese and fries. (This cheese was creamier) The Shake was great, it tasted the way most cookies shakes taste, but one downside was this Shake was expensive! It was probably the most expensive item given the size of the item. Points off for this price point. Another point off for the "interior" eating area. I guess this place is more of a take-out location. But I'd been planning on eating in, and after taking a seat I'd noticed that drafts of wind easily enter this space. Given this was right after a snow day, it made eating "inside" in this spot pretty cold. read more

This place is usually on point, and has been over the last couple years. Started off strong in Malden then worked toward Newbury location! While you expand, remember to keep the quality up. Just because you have two locations now, shouldnt be grounds for you to slack off / cut corners at your first, older location! Picked up a chicken sandwich at Malden location 2 nights ago and the buns were flakey/old from most likely the day prior. read more

Great burger. Enormous actually (and I only got the single paddy). The burger is decadent and slathered with cheese. If your hungry and not watching your waistline, this place is perfect. It's cute but no frills. The eating area is just a small Porch overlooking an industrial area (which gives it a nice gritty vibe). If you looking for a gourmet burger or lots of options (aka Hop and Grind) this may not be the place. They are true to their name! I went in the afternoon just before the rush and it wasn't as busy as I thought it might be. There are a ton of great reviews. I tried a cheeseburger with their "better than ketchup" sauce and my wife went with the "but make it spicy" fried chicken sandwich. The cheeseburger was juicy and crispy (not burnt). The chicken sandwich had excellent flavors and it was kind of like the Nashville hot chicken you can get at KFC.(Or Nashville.... Never been though) The crispy chicken was also topped with a colorful slaw. The service reminded me of an "It's Always Sunny" episode. Dennis tried to start a business out of a food truck serving beer with an over complicated system that you had to log on with your phone and create an account to be able to buy beer. No service could be experienced without this happening. They really push the log into our website thing. And you have to enter your location to be able to see the most recent menu items, and then enter your credit info to have them make it for you. There was no inside seating and it really seemed like they were really pushing take out orders. The outdoor seating was ironically overlooking the gym next door. Overall I think that this could have been an easy 5 stars if the menu and ordering experience wasn't so alienating to people who still like to carry cash and are able to remember someone else's telephone number without their phone contacts list. With all that being said, I'd recommend it and I'm looking forward to another visit sometime in the future. read more

Ordered from Grubhub because it's too hot to cook. I was worried that 3 tenders wasn't going to be filling, but they were HUGE! The fries were crispy, and the chicken was so crunchy and juicy! Crazy Good Kitchen - Merica style burger (single patty) and side of fries - Chicken Wings Near Me - Malden, Massachusetts

So, where to begin?... They provide parking in the lot facing directly towards the diner, for about 4 cars. Also parking on the opposite side but it might be designated for the neighboring businesses. However, there are no clear signs. I must admit, this is the tiniest diner I've ever dined in. I was actually contemplating whether or not to order takeout when I entered. Literally counted 10, maybe 11 stools total! I also spotted one high chair, but not certain how kid friendly this may be.. There were 3 other customers inside when we arrived, basically a full house! Lol. Ooh, this was 11am on a Monday BTW. Outdoor seating is also provided if the weather permits, more roomier as well. The menu.. For such a small diner, there was great variety! I was pleased that the lunch items are served all day. Yes, sometimes I just want a burger at 8am! For this visit, I opted for chicken and waffles. It did not disappoint. The chicken was absolutely the best part. Crispy, tender, and great seasoning. I misread the menu and thought it came with their CGK sauce but that was only available with the egg option. Shame, since I was enthused to try it. We also had the sun-dried beef entree. The beef was a bit salty. I basically wanted rice after I tasted it. Lol. But it was still good. The yuca fries that accompanied the dish were amazing! Super crunchy and filling. I would get it again. I also ordered a mango with passion fruit shake. I didn't realize it contained ice cream. It was bit too sweet for my liking. The server/hostess was very sweet. Between attending to customers, taking a million phone orders and washing dishes, she handled it well. As we were settling the bill, Chef Tony asked us about our experience. We did mention how sweet the shake was. He informed us we could request the shake to be made to our preference, even with meals, he will try his best to accommodate. He seemed very genuine and eager to make his customers satisfied, which I love! Thanks Chef Tony for a great lunch. And I'll be back for the infamous Acai bowls. :) read more
