Açaí of relief because this trip to Malden was SO worth it for the amazing fried chicken sandwich and açaí cup that I had (the first of many!!) It took a while to understand the Popeye's sandwich hype, but once you get to try the BUT MAKE IT SPICY chicken sandwich from CGK, you'll never turn back. I got the standard medium size which is capable of being a meal on its own. All sizes get the choice of strawberries, bananas, granola, and dried milk + a free drizzle (I got PB). The consistency was perfectly thick. I loved that the toppings were distributed throughout the cup and not just all on top! Ehh, I wasn't all that impressed. I came here on Fathers Day, I wanted to take my dad to get some yummy breakfast to start his day of spoilage. The seating is horrible for a place that provides dine in options for food. There are bar style seating inside, not many might I add, and the bar area for you to eat on is a bit too short. We originally opt d to sit outside, since that's where the actual seats and tables are, and we were extremely uncomfortable. We were in direct sunlight, and when we moved to another table, we were right in front of the door. It was actually miserable! We chose to move inside when there were seats available, and were uncomfortable there too. The food wasn't bad, I will say that. And the service wasn't bad either, but the food took a long time to make, and it didn't seem that busy for us to wait almost an hour for two breakfast plates that were mostly eggs. It wasn't all too spicy and had a great flavor to it, chicken was moist on the inside with a great crispy exterior. Definitely one of the best chicken sandwiches I've had. The burger style reminds me a bit of the Five Guys or Shake Shack in terms of the patty, however it feel like you get more meat than with Shake Shack and it is less greasy than Five Guys. Not only that but the buns that CGK uses much better quality buns, which elevate the burger beyond its competitors. My wife got the chicken fingers, and by all appearances they looked very nice. Definitely not a frozen chicken finger thrown into a deep fryer (for which there is a time and place, don't get me wrong...). The one thing that will make me hesitate to come back is the fries. They really need to up their game. Half the time I want a burger, I make a mean one at home, so what often makes me go out for a burger is the addition of fries. First time coming and was very surprised to see how tiny this place was! It is adorable! While the seating is limited it has a great charm to it. The prices were a bit high. (It's still pricey like Shack Shack) The steak and cheese fries was good too, especially the steak which was very tender. I generally don't believe you should eat fries with nacho cheese though, although this one was better than the Shake Shack version of cheese and fries. (This cheese was creamier) The Shake was great, it tasted the way most cookies shakes taste, but one downside was this Shake was expensive! It was probably the most expensive item given the size of the item. Points off for this price point. Another point off for the "interior" eating area. It was messy and just wrong. The Buffalo chicken fries, decent, however, the ranch should be placed on the side or there should be a clearer option when ordering to allow you to get it on the side. What an awesome find in Malden! Crazy Good Kitchen is a tiny, cozy little place (it looks like a cute trailer!) specializing in breakfast items, burgers, shakes, & acai bowls. When we walked in on a Saturday early afternoon, we were greeted by the extra-friendly staff who offered us free samples of their acai and froyo. Both were delicious! There are some stools (probably 10-15 or so) up against the wall where you can sit and enjoy your meal, but you don't want to come here with a large group (or really with any group). They do offer takeout and to go orders though. I ordered a small House Crazy Acai Bowl, and it was spectacular. It comes topped with super fresh fruit, granola, non-fat dried milk, and your choice of honey or sweetened condensed milk (I went with the honey). Dennis tried to start a business out of a food truck serving beer with an over complicated system that you had to log on with your phone and create an account to be able to buy beer. No service could be experienced without this happening. They really push the log into our website thing. And you have to enter your location to be able to see the most recent menu items, and then enter your credit info to have them make it for you. There was no inside seating and it really seemed like they were really pushing take out orders. The outdoor seating was ironically overlooking the gym next door. Overall I think that this could have been an easy 5 stars if the menu and ordering experience wasn't so alienating to people who still like to carry cash and are able to remember someone else's telephone number without their phone contacts list.
