Met our son and daughter in law at Davis Square in Summerville for lunch. Plenty of options but we picked Saigon Tiger for food. We ordered and found a table in the sun (had our dog join us). My crispy chicken Binh Mi was very tasty and the basil lemonade complemented the sandwich. Glad the weather was fall like and next time will dine inside (sin dog)

Cute little restuarant in the heart of Davis Square. Don't be fooled by the exterior, there is plenty of seating inside. The staff was very friendly and attentative. My friend and I both got bahn mi sandwiches. I did the grilled chicken which was packed with flavor and juicy. The sandwiches were HUGE. Definitely a bang for your buck. It honestly could've been two servings if I wasn't famished when we went. We also ordered the bao buns. Was indecsive so did one beef and one pork. Both were delicious but I was a bigger fan of the pork bun. To drink, I got the spicy lemonade which was delicious. The drink had an incredible layering of flavors which honestly made me think "THIS is what I want from a mocktail". My friend got the vietnamese coffee which she thoroughly enjoyed. Great place for a quick bite or a longer sit down meal. I've noticed that it does get a bit busy around dinner time. Will definitely be back to try other menu items!

Casual and charming restaurant. Lots of great specials and honestly a hidden gem for good and cheap eats. Their Lemongrass Noodle Bowl was flavorful and refreshing. Their Lychee Lemonade was also good but it was 95% ice. Also they were playing Yesterday Once More by the Carpenters on repeat and I was there for a good two hours, which I thought was pretty funny.

What I'm discovering is that Cambridge and Somerville are no longer a bastion for the international food scene. Saigon Tiger presentation is 5 star. I will give them that. This Vietnamese food is a far cry from being the best in the state. I would personally rank it toward the bottom myself. Let's face it, things aren't getting any cheaper so you're going to be paying more for everything. The $15 dollar banh mi is common now. If you're paying that much it better be great. Being a huge fan of lemongrass, I was excited to try this sandwich. What I received felt more like a curry chicken thigh on a sandwich. Not a hint of fragrant lemongrass or fire grilled chicken. I left more than half of my Banh Mi and had to go eat elsewhere The Service was OK. Not bad. You bus your own table which is fine. But again I'm struggling with what tipping 20% is for these days when I'm doing half the work. Inside is quaint. But the windows are frosted so you can't even really see outside. I don't think I'll be back. There are way too many awesome Vietnamese restaurants in other areas.

Cute little spot right across from Davis Square station with about 25-30 seats. The menu is simple--apps, banh mi, vermicelli, and rice bowls. Nothing too out of the ordinary, but solid options. The Lemongrass chicken thighs were more flavorful than the crispy ones. There were no descriptions on the "fried egg rolls" and expected the traditional Vietnamese taro pork egg rolls but realized later it had a little V for vegetarian and was only a cabbage egg roll. Would skip next time. The dine-in experience could use some work. The table was so sticky I practically had to peel my phone off with a sound like velcro. Definitely made me think twice about resting my arms on it. I'll probably do takeout next time--food seems worth trying again, but I'd skip the dine-in experience. Food took over 30 minutes to come out when there was only 2 others table of 2 in the restaurant during 3:30pm.

Pretty good, not life changing. Portions lean small. Food comes quick which I appreciate. Vibe is cute but not "nice" I'd say. Had the crispy chicken bowl and totally enjoyed it but am not desperate to return.

This place has the BEST cocktails I've had in Boston! We got the lychee martini and another spicy cocktail with chill oil and coconut milk. Both had such unique and delicious flavors and were reasonably priced at $14 each. Every dish we got was also delicious. The portion sizes weren't skimpy but also not huge, so we got a few dishes to share. Our favorites were: Grilled chicken banh mi. The chicken was tender and curry-flavored. It paired perfectly well with the vegetables, crispy baguette, and sauces of the sandwich. Grilled okra. Such delicious flavors and well-cooked. Tofu spring rolls. Soft, fresh, and paired perfectly with the peanut sauce it came with. Overall, this is such a great neighborhood spot with delicious food at affordable prices (all items under $15). The decor is casual but cute, and the staff is very kind and attentive to their jobs. I would definitely come back again to try more of their menu items!

Decided to check this place out after my doctor's appointment and I am so glad I did! Their Banh Mi is humongous! The Lemongrass Chicken Banh Mi has marinated chicken thigh, pate, mayo, and a varieties of pickled veggies. I really like the marinated chicken thigh, it's very juicy and tender. I also asked for extra pate and extra mayo because it was very yummy! The baguette is also so big and nicely toasted. I think this is a great sandwich for the price and I would definitely get again. The service was nice and fast. The place is a bit small itself but very relaxed and cozy.

Came for dinner with two friends! Service was great, our waitress was very friendly and she even gave us a complimentary lemonade drink due to the longer wait (they were short-staffed that day). The crispy chicken was really delicious, but I wish the portion size was larger. The rice, bahn mi bread, radish, etc. were average. I've had better Vietnamese food in other places, but this is a great spot to grab a quick meal in a nice, cozy space.

My friends and I did some work at Saigon Tiger, since we thought it was more of a cafe. Most people there seemed to be eating (not working) but we didn't have any problem working since they had wifi. Just be aware that it's more of a restaurant than a cafe! I got the ube vietnamese coffee latte, while my friend got the classic vietnamese latte. I liked my drink compared to other lattes I've had, even though I was a bit thrown off since ube is usually more purple than blue. However, I don't think the coffee tasted like vietnamese coffee, but more so like regular coffee.

I got the bbq pork vermicelli bowl and it was so delicious!! And the ube coffee! Also really good! It's a really cute vibe inside- I was alone when I went so I chickened out of eating inside and got takeout but overall good food!

Delicious food! I've visited and ordered delivery several times. Banh mi is stellar and a big portion. Side of fried rice is delicious, and the pork steamed buns are my favorite. Vietnamese coffee is great! Good prices.

First off, this place is adorable. It set my expectations a very high! We ordered the house muddled drinks, which were delicious- I highly recommend. But the food was really sub par. I ordered a crispy chicken lemon grass rice bowl and my friend ordered the tofu noodle bowl. The chicken just wasn't great quality- to the point that it was chewy and funky and distracting, even through the breading was great. My friend's tofu didn't have any flavor or much crispness. Both dishes were lacking in sauces and flavoring in general. We didn't try the bahn mi, so maybe that is a safer bet if you hoping for more Vietnamese type meal.

Banh Mi, chicken wings, and lemonades were quite good. One of the better meals I've had around Davis Square.

We walked into a cozy, bohemian atmosphere filled with eclectic décor, photos, artwork, books, puzzles, chess boards, and an overall sense that people are encouraged to slow down and stay present. Despite the relatively small footprint, the space manages to feel welcoming rather than cramped, with indoor seating that supports conversation and outdoor seating that becomes especially popular during warmer months. Coffee is clearly the centerpiece here. We ordered espresso based drinks, including a flat white and a seasonal Juniper Latte, both of which were prepared with care and a clear emphasis on quality. The café leans into a more thoughtful coffee program, and that attention shows in the cup. Beyond the drinks, the pastry selection is good, particularly the croissants and scones, which paired naturally with the coffee menu. The experience is helped by friendly, engaged staff who contribute to the café's welcoming personality. Conversations with the baristas and small community touches helped create an environment that felt more personal than transactional. The laptop free policy can catch first time visitors by surprise, but for many regulars it is part of what gives Faro its distinctive identity and helps preserve the social atmosphere that sets it apart from more work focused cafés. For a coffee stop in Harvard Square that prioritizes human connection over productivity, Faro Cafe delivers a warm, intentional space worth slowing down for.
