The name of this place is a bit misleading, as the food definitely leans more Thai, which influences their pho offering. I had the pho sate, and while it was huge spicy bowl of soup and noodles, it did not really taste like pho to me. It was lacking the beefy depth of flavor and it was heavy handed on the cinnamon / clove aromatics. All of the beef was quite chewy and the noodles broke apart easily, so unfortunately I didn't finish the bowl. It pairs so well with the spicy food. Chicken wings are cooked to perfection. Fresh rolls! The wrap is so perfect, melts in your mouth. The sauce is yummy. I ordered the Bun Bo Hue. I'm 100% Vietnamese, and my family is from Hue, so I know what good BBH is. This was okay. I liked the flavor, it was there. However, this dish here has many missing authentic components, maybe because it caters to non-Vietnamese people? It's missing pork blood, pork hoof, tendon, Vietnamese pork ham, etc. Also, this dish had way too much lemongrass in it. Too much lemongrass throws off the texture, and it becomes grainy. The worst Vietnamese food I've ever had, out of the 50+ Vietnamese restaurants I've dined in in the USA and Vietnam. We were craving pho, vermicelli, and soup for our family and saw good ratings for this restaurant, so ended up ordering dinner for 10+ individuals. Each person was left unhappy, with more to desire. The pho dishes come out to approximately $16/per person with vegetables, but are skimpy. There was very little protein compared to the amount of protein you'd typically get for a pho dish. There were several vegetarian soups with catfish and shrimp that we ordered and both had 1 piece of shrimp. Yup, one piece. That was confusing because it felt like they forgot to put in the protein we paid extra for, but somehow remember to put in one piece. Furthermore, the broth in the beef and vegetarian dishes tasted and smelled like wet socks. The appetizers were the only good part of the order. I personally liked the calamari. Tried Pho 'n Rice once for takeout and once for dine-in to give them a fair shot, but they didn't impress me too much. Our first try was grabbing takeout - one Beef Kua Kai Noodle Dinner and one Bun Thit Nuong. The Beef Kua Kai had a good amount of tender beef, but I found the noodles to be lacking in any special quality. It felt a little mushy as I progressed through the meal. On the other hand, the Bun Thit Nuong was pretty good according to my fiancée. Wasn't spectacular, but a good dish if she craved it. We went back about a week later to dine in for lunch. We were seated quickly just before noon on a rainy Saturday and ordered a bowl of Pho Dac Biet and Mi Hoanh Thanh. What stood out to us was there were no sizes to pick from - one size fits all here. My opinion is that the Pho Dac Biet was a little on the small side - didn't get too much variety of meat on it and the beef didn't come in good big slices. Instead, some of the beef was in bits floating around the soup. The broth was not as hearty and flavorful as I have had in other shops in the area, but the noodles had a nice texture so no complaints there. The Mi Hoanh Thanh had a comparatively more flavorful broth and the egg noodles were great. The included pork was on the dry side and the dumplings were a little small, but not a bad bowl of soup noodles to satisfy cravings. Service was quite nice and fast, so I will give them credit for that. One other note about dine-in - for some reason, the music they had playing kept cutting in and out. It was a good modern pop playlist, but it got very distracting during our meal to keep hearing pauses in the background. Overall, I wouldn't come here very often if I crave Viet or Thai food. 2 years later, my boyfriend and I revisited this cute little Thai/Vietnamese place while visiting friends in the area, and we still love it. I ordered the medium bowl of the pho dac biet and he got the spicy pork rib. Both were fresh, well-made, and delicious. My pho wasn't the best bowl of pho I've ever had, but it hit all the right notes, and the medium bowl was more than enough food to leave me stuffed and satisfied. It's also possible that my pho was just overshadowed by the seriously tasty spicy pork rib. Once I had a taste of that, I had some serious dish envy and was kicking myself for not ordering that. Picture a tender pork chop, gently fried and coated in an addicting sweet and spicy sauce. Now double that and pile it on a generous mound of rice, and you have the awesomeness that is that dish. The worst experience ever! I have been a customer for a very long time (since 2022)- always order delivery and through their website- usually once a week. This past Sunday we order our usual Pho soups for myself and my husband. Also, appetizers for my daughter. The delivery came on time but they forgot the bean sprouts/lemon and 1 of the soup broth. We called the restaurant and the lady on the phone didn't speak any English. She was having a really hard time understanding us.
