    Kao Soi

Just had the Kao Soi curry chicken noodle soup. Amazing! And nicely packaged for takeout.

A wonderful surprise. Get the Zab wings. Best thing here. Tangy savory and the best crunch. We got the ORT orange rosemary Thai tea. Get it. It's so refreshing. Would not have thought such a good and what feels very authentic. The staff were nice and the ambiance was chill. Low key in the best way.

Possibly my favorite Thai restaurant in Mass. They carry dishes that aren't commonly available at most Thai places and everything here hits the spot. I have gotten dinner here multiple times (thinking about more than 10 times at this point) and it's been great every time. The restaurant is quite small with about 5 tables, so during the colder months, you will probably have to wait for a table if you are not doing takeout. During the warmer months, there is seating outside! Plenty of parking in the area. My most recent visit was great. I got the usual Wings Zab and my partner got Satay noodles and chicken cutlet. It was our first time getting the satay noodles and the chicken but they were both great. I always get the Wings Zabb because the wings are crispy and tangy and very flavorful. Other items I'd recommend are the hor mok and the mackerel.

My partner and I shared the lox rangoon, hor mok w rice (Thai curried fish custard), yum nem kao tod (Thai and Lao salad w crispy curried rice), Thai tea w cream, and kao niao dam sangkaya (coconut black sticky rice) - TASTE: 5/5 - loved everything! Stars of the show were the spicy fish and the tossed salad, which included fermented pork, lime, and cilantro -- chef's kiss. Also enjoyed the rangoon's smoked salmon, the sticky rice's strong coconut flavors, and the satisfying Thai iced tea. Excited to try more next time we're back in the area TEXTURE: 5/5 - thin and crispy rangoons, steamed tender fish custard, chewy tripe(?) and crunchy peanuts, and soft coconut custard PRICE: 4/5 - total came to $62 SERVING SIZE: 4/5 - had a late lunch so ordered the perfect amount for dinner SERVICE: 4/5 - walked in at 5pm, got seated, and ordered at the counter when ready. Food came out very quickly, and the employees were kind ATMOSPHERE: 3/5 - no AC and didn't look like there was a bathroom, but appreciated the plant-filled interior, which doubles as a small market space PARKING: 4/5 - got a free street spot right on Mass Ave

Boom!! That hit the spot! Decided to try this place for dinner on a Monday night and it was surprisingly bustling! The restaurant is small with only a few tables along one side and grocery items along the other. If you're dining in, you can have a seat while you decide what to order and when you are ready you order and pay at the counter. While we decided there were many people coming in for pick up orders. My bf and I decided to share a fish cake special appetizer and he went with their Khao soi and I got the satay spicy noodles topped with tofu. The fish cake appetizer was very yummy. It came with a little spicy dipping sauce that I finished because it was very good. The satay noodles were also very good. The noodles were cooked perfectly and they were topped with plenty of peanut sauce and peanut pieces. The tofu was sliced into big chunks and made the dish very good. The star of the night was the Khao soi! The broth was super rich and it was packed with tons of flavor. I kept stealing the spoon from my boyfriend's bowl to sip up the broth. He did let me have a couple of bites of his khaki soi which was nice. We were pleasantly surprised how yummy and fresh everything tasted and can't wait to come back! I think we have found our new Thai place!

I'm pretty picky with my Thai food, so you know when I give this place 5 stars, it's pretty legit. Just know, it's a chill spot with counter service and not a ton of seating, but the service is still solid. After all, you're here for the food! One of the highlights was the Kao Soi, which was out of this world! But honestly, everything we had was delicious. The prices were also very reasonable. I'll have to come back soon!

This place is such a hidden gem and I want them to get the recognition they deserve, but selfishly I also don't want it to get even harder to find a seat in the already small restaurant. My friends and I went and got almost everything on the menu, and all of it was fantastic. The ladies who work there are incredibly kind, they make you feel at home and I saw that they remembered so many regulars' names that picked up to-go orders. The location is out of the way for me, but well worth it. I'd recommend trying the panang curry, wings zab, shrimp donuts, lox rangoon, and the coconut black sticky rice w/ coconut custard for dessert. But everything is good.

    Kao Pad Basil, Wings Zab

OCT. 2025, Weekday, Take out, arrived right around 2:30pm (The cashier told me they close for afternoon break at 2:30, so to order soon. Glad they let me order, as it was 2:30.) Ordered Kao Pad Basil w/chicken 15 -Spicy Thai basil fried RiceBerry rice with egg, basil, garlic, chili, Chinese broccoli, red bell pepper, onion, cilantro, scallion. Wings Zab 9 -Hot and sour dry rub wings, with red onion, cilantro. Both were excellent! I could eat the Wings Zab every day. This place is local to my place, so I plan to go there frequently.

This place is a hidden gem! We came here on a Sunday evening around 6:15 and were seated promptly. There are about 5 two seater tables available. It's also a market so you can buy some Thai staples as well such as various Lays flavors. It's got a great vibe and the smells are heavenly. We put in our order and the food started coming out in a reasonable amount of time given how busy they were with takeout orders. The highlights were the sweet taro pastry puffs, lox rangoon, chicken satay, banana fritters, and the pad horapa! This place is easily one of the two tastiest meals I've had in the last year. Not only do I definitely recommend this place, but if you like Thai food then this needs to be the next restaurant you go to!

    Moo Honk!

Really enjoyed our meal here. Not sure if it's on the menu all the time, but I loved the Moo Honk! that I got (added egg noodles to it). The meat was very tender, some of it enough to fall apart as I picked it up. We shared the shrimp donuts that were good as well and definitely with getting again. The staff was super friendly! It's a small place, but it wasn't too busy when we went for a weekend lunch and we ate on one of the picnic tables that they set up on the sidewalk. Looking forward to coming back!

This place is great! I ordered from here a couple weeks ago after spending a lot of time unpacking my new apartment. I called to order because it was getting close to the time that they closed and wanted to make sure that I didn't miss the window to order food, this was no problem for them. In fact, the woman who answered the phone was extremely friendly. About 20 minutes later, when I arrived to pick up my food, I was greeted warmly with a smile. I chatted with the woman as I paid for my food, and she welcomed me to the area. When I home I devoured their delicious karee puffs, so good! The green curry is some of the best I've had, very flavorful, and they do not skimp on the veggies and eggplant. I've already been back once, and will definitely be back again in the future.

The small unassuming restaurant is the best Thai restaurant in New England. If you know you know.

One friend is a regular and she got her usual entree with a bunch of substitutions to accommodate her food intolerances (poor thing!), and the staff was very kind as usual. Another friend got the duck which is her favorite dish (she was happy with it!). I got spicy green beans and chicken and it was very flavorful and just the perfect level of spicy for me. Two of us ordered the hot sake (it's in the teens today!). The hot sake is actually a nicer brand than you sometimes get. It had a nice clean finish and maybe went down a little too easily! The best part about our dinner was that the staff let us stay and chat for hours without rushing us out. It was not a crowded evening being so cold but it was a very pleasant experience. My family has been coming to noodle market since we first bought our home in town in 2018. It's our go to place for pho when someone is sick. It doesn't have the most flavorful broth I've ever had but it is always fresh so we keep ordering it. Sometimes you just want clean healthy food and that's what you'll find at noodle market.

Service was strange... hot tea came to table right away and was watered down and minimal tea flavor. I ordered a sesame chicken lunch special which came with soup egg drop soup, spring roll , white rice. I ordered a side of beef teriyaki . Waitress asked 1 or 2 teriyaki ? I assumed how many teriyaki sticks or small or large options? I said 2. Egg drop soup and spring roll shows up with duck sauce... egg drop soup was very good. Spring roll was excellent and filling was fresh. Then Next 2 orders of beef teriyaki with 4 sticks each show up??? She takes away my duck sauce from my spring roll... and leaves me with no duck sauce for my beef teriyaki? I now ask for duck sauce for teriyaki? She brings out a hot spicy sauce instead of duck sauce ? The sesame chicken was very good but more sweet and sour sauce flavor than sesame ? The beef teriyaki was extremely tough meat and I had to ask for a knife to cut up? No glass of water as I saw other tables getting water? I had to ask for water as tea wasn't doing it for me ? Then another duck sauce shows up I didn't ask for but glad it did arrive and was needed? Teriyaki had great flavor but tough like beef jerky and one order would have been enough to tolerate without the confusion of getting 2 orders and then also charged for two ? I found the service confusing and not a smooth outing? Then both the waitresses disappeared while waiting for the check . I asked for a glass of water at this point. No fortune cookie, pineapple or exit offering with the check? All in all I was confused.. but I would eat again here and assume staff trying ... next time I'll be very clear what 1 vs 2 means. The menu does look many good options and convenience with parking, location and nice dining room. I would have rate 4-5 stars but the teriyaki wasn't tender and too tough to enjoy.

I ordered the beef noodle soup ($15.95) and vegetarian leek pie ($9.95). Both came out within 10 minutes. The beef noodle soup had the thin flat wheat noodle ubiquitous in Taiwanese noodle soups. The soup was well-flavored with stock. Too many of these sorts of places over-rely on soy sauce, making a salty yet thin and underflavored bowl. Not here. I will nitpick and say that I would like larger chunks of beef, not the sort of cubed stew beef you see at the supermarket. The vegetarian leek pie (as it's called in the menu) is a pastry stuffed with chive (not leek), egg, and vermicelli. It was decently salted and hot. The portion sizes were quite satisfying as well. Closing thought - this place has, so far, the closest to what I would consider a decent bowl of Taiwanese beef noodle soup I've had in the Boston metro area so far. I'm always on the lookout for it
