Loved the ambiance. Went for brunch on Saturday and had a nice experience. Food was amazing and Jacob was the host or mgr. & very pleasant. Joshua was server but not warm and fuzzy at all. But food was great and will be back.

Love it when a great restaurant locates to a spot that is walking distance from home. I think the new location on the north end of mid-town is perfect. It is hidden away on Tahoe Street - a little bend in the road between Forest and Virginia. There is parking available with a few designated spots in front of the entrance. Upon entering, we were greeted and shown to a booth. The only down side is it is pretty noisy and it was quite busy on a Thursday night. Being against the wall helped a bit. The service was excellent. Bianca was attentive and checked in on our satisfaction. The bus boy was diligent about filling our water and removing our plates. My husband ordered the Prime NY Steak with fries. I had the Pesto Conchiglie Pasta. Our companions had the Red Wine Braised Bone-in Beef Short Rib (tried a bite it was melt-in your-mouth tender) and The Burger - deemed really good! We ordered desserts to share - Dark Chocolate Marquise Mousse Cake and Brûléed Cheesecake. Definitely worth a return visit. I am glad we made a reservation as it seems to be the new Hot Spot in Midtown.

Great recommendation from my buddy! A home run! Quality/Quantity - Both my buddy and I spent a lot of time in Incline where this restaurant is from. So he suggested that we visit this new location. Simple menu done well, I mean VERY well! Slightly different menu from their Incline location. See their websites. Actually the menu is slightly different from their website. Green Bean Frites - Our starter, fresh green beans that were freshly and perfectly fried. I can eat a few more of these... Sage & Walnut Pesto Conchiglie Pasta - My buddy's dish. I was worried that it was too small, but as light eaters, it was actually the perfect quantity for him. Oh, if you are following, you also know that we drink more than we eat. I mean drink WAY more than we eat, lol. Pork Chop - Generous portions, especially for a light eater like myself. BUT I did not really eat lunch today, so I knew I was going to finish this delicious meal! So good, from the chop to the sweet potatoes and greens. I am going to take my wife and daughter here, one of these days. Happy hour was also available, but my buddy was too lazy to leave Zephyr Wine Bar, lol. But you know that because you are following. Decent drink menu, see pictures. Full bar available. Ambiance - Beautiful new location. I think the outdoor spaces are still a work-in-progress. With summer around the corner, I see that you got new patio chairs for your rear outdoor space. Indoor and outdoor seating. Table and bar seating. Beautiful new decor, see pictures. VERY limited parking, a very small lot. Although there are many street parking spaces, we came during prime dinner time so we had to park two blocks away. Good thing I like to walk. Service - Good. No reservations, but they were able to seat us immediately. Price - Expensive, but really reasonable for the quality of food. $107 + tip. FYI - A split plate charge of $6, parties of 6 or more has an automatic 22% tip, 2 credit card maximum, etc. Owner Comment - Congrats on all your success since 2020 and now this second new location. How did you end up opening both restaurants on Tahoe Street?!?!

Food was yummy all around, scramble may have sat up in the pass for a while because it was a little cold, and a little runny on the bottom. Our server was nice and the drinks were tasty! I am interested to come back for dinner. I would give any item on the brunch menu a shot. The patio was comfy on the perfect temp day. Kinda spendy, but I think it is worth it.

I came back for Brunch on Easter Sunday. Luckily, we arrived before the rush, but when we were leaving there were several parties waiting for a table. They were really busy, but the service did not suffer, everything was great! It was a beautiful morning, so we sat outside on the Patio. It was very nice, but I did miss the Music playing on the background from last time (it's one of the things I loved my first time here). I had the Buttermilk Banana Pancakes. They reminded me of Banana Bread, but very much the texture of perfectly light and fluffy pancakes. The toppings were also yummy, especially the Maple Peanut Butter Syrup. My daughter had the Strawberry Pancakes (not pictured). It was an Easter Special and not on the regular menu, but she absolutely loved them. I've been here twice since they opened and so far I have nothing but great things to say about the service and food here at Sage Leaf. Can't wait to come again!

Came in on a sunday for Easter Brunch. We had a reservation but they were able to take us a little early. Super cute interior and nice patio. Service (our server was Mook) was really great! We ordered the steak fries, avocado toast, french toast and battleborn scramble. All the food was so good and fresh! The fries were some of the best Ive had! The strawberry fields mocktail was also super delicious! Overall Sage Leaf knocked brunch out of the park and we are definitely looking forward ro coming back and trying lunch/dinner option

I had Sage Leaf bookmarked on my Yelp account for about a week, really eager to try out the new location on Tahoe Street after learning about the owner's success in Incline Village. Where the previously operated Laughing Planet was located on Tahoe St, Sage Leaf is an elevated New American restaurant featuring outside patio, table and bar seating. We arrived on Sunday at 11am and while it was busy, we were able to be seated quickly near the entrance from the bar to the patio. We started off with a round of cocktails, the Bloody Mary is garnished with the typical celery stick, and green olive, but also with a lime wedge and a piece of their house made candied thick cut bacon - YUM. I noticed they make a lot of items in house - whether it's the fruit juices for your Mimosas or hot sauces on the table. I had the Bacon Tacos, and my partner had the Biscuits and Gravy. The bacon at this restaurant is amazing, thick cut similar to pork belly and buttery soft. I have never had anything like it. The tacos themselves are bigger than I anticipated, two floor tortillas that they fill up well. I tried a bite from the Biscuits and Gravy - which I am not typically a fan of, however Sage Leaf house made sage & cheddar biscuits were incredibly fluffy and soft, pairing so well with the smoked gouda gravy. My partner was envious of my bacon tacos that he ordered a side of bacon to compensate haha, it is seriously that good! Initially, I wanted to try this restaurant for dinner, but I am glad we started with Brunch and were not disappointed.

I have a few good and bad things to say about Sage. The atmosphere was very nice, the homemade biscuits for our appetizer were delicious, and the pastrami burger was the highlight of the meal. Unfortunately, my chicken sandwich was missing that wow factor and the inside of the bun was burnt. Our brûlée on top of our cheesecake was burnt to a crisp and tasted like charcoal. I was up-charged for my well whiskey in my old fashioned, adding avocado is $4.00, and changing your fries type and cooking oil is an extra $5.00. Our service was very fast, friendly, and just how I like it. Overall my group agreed it was a great experience but we don't need to return.

I met my friend for dinner here and we had a lovely time. The renovation of the inside from the prior restaurant was tastefully done. The biscuits were amazing and the jelly that accompanied them was to die for!!! Our entrees were both really good, she got the chicken entree and we both agreed that sometimes that can get overlooked, but she said it was amazing. My only complaint is that there is not enough parking for this restaurant so it ended up taking me 15 minutes to find a spot in Midtown and was late to my reservation, which is something in the restaurant obviously can't control, but beware to arrive early to find parking!

Great new addition to the midtown food scene! So glad something great took over the old Laughing Planet space. We came opening night for dinner and the place was vibing with live music and chatty people. Servers were friendly and attentive--but not hovery. They weren't pushy to rush us through our meal, so we got to savor and enjoy everything. Great for a date night. And now I want to go back for brunch!

Okay Sage Leaf, I see you! This place for brunch was giving deliciousness on every level! Plus service was great. Their biscuits were delightful and the strawberry jam it came with tasted very fresh. The bacon tacos are big. You could certainly share this one. A bit chewy to bite through but expected with such a thick cut piece of bacon, they slapped:) The lamb burger was good, not sure if you're able to upgrade the fries to their duck fat steak fries but if so, doooo it! Because those were worth it:) Their organic green salad was good, not overly dressed. Cannot wait to come back to try the dinner menu here! I'm excited! The downside of this place is parking is almost non existent and can be nightmarish.

Back to Sage Leaf to try their dinner menu and it was just as good as brunch! Of course we got the cheddar sage biscuits again and I will get them every visit because they're delicious. For cocktails we had the bubbles and berries and the bees knees-both were wonderful. Dinner was steak bruschetta appetizer (a meal in itself), the short rib dinner and the hamburger. The short ribs were so tender and served with the most delicious sauce. The "Sage Leaf" stamp on the burger bun was so cute and the burger one of the best we've had and I loved the steak bruschetta. The restaurant is beautiful and staff is extremely nice and professional. One of my new favorite Reno restaurants.

I love that Reno can have nice things. The restaurant is on the small side and we stopped by on a Saturday around 12:30. That were packed, which I was glad to see. The hostess was very nice and after a few minutes wait, she was able to seat us. There's a beautiful wisteria patio which I will definitely be visiting when the weather warms up. Our server was very prompt and friendly. They kept our water glasses full and the food came out piping hot. We shared an order of duck fat fries, the best I've ever had; crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside and oh, so rich, seasoned with Old Bay and served with a creamy, garlicky aioli. For lunch I had the Cobb salad served with a crisp vinaigrette, delightful. My husband had the chicken sandwich and mushroom soup which he said was very good. We'll be back again for the pastrami sandwich

Absolutely spectacular selection for a shop over in Reno, NV.... The icing on the cake for this visit to craft... HAMPDEN PAGOS!!! Craft Wine and Beer has quickly become our go-to spot! They have the best selection of…read moreeverything--especially specialty rums and hard-to-find mixers. If you can't find something anywhere else, this is definitely the place to check. The store is incredibly well-organized, making it easy to browse and find exactly what you need. The staff are always friendly and eager to help you track down anything you're looking for. Plus, they have a bar with beer on tap and a large wine selection. Plenty of seating indoors and several tables outdoors to enjoy a drink in the sunshine. Highly recommend stopping by whether you're looking for something unique or just want to enjoy a drink on-site!
