Stopped for lunch. Yes, place is meant to feed you some iron and protein and it sure did take care of me. Staff will try to be very accommodating. Two ladies working the bar had amazing people skills.

    Ambiance in the bar area.

The atmosphere was great, and the service was nice, but not quite that great for the price tag. It's not as if we had a server for every person at the table delivering food under a cloche, but boy did the price tag feel like it should have been. For a chain steak house, they sure do charge a lot. We started with an appetizer of calamari in sweet chili sauce. The calamari was cooked perfectly. Then it was ruined by being drenched in chili sauce. It tasted like we were eating spoonfuls of sweet chili sauce rather than the somewhat delicately fried calamari with an accompanying sauce. The chef was heavy handed with the sauce and the red peppers were extremely soft--like jarred red peppers. If the sauce was served on the side and bell peppers also gently fried to keep from a slimey texture, it could have been a home run. My daughter's salad was also drenched in dressing. Whoever is cooking must love sauce. The main star of the night was the 40 oz tamahawk ribeye. It was succulent and delicious. I wondered if it was actually 40 oz. It seemed small when delivered. Another odd thing was we ordered it medium rare and it came out rare, but because they brought out 500 degree plates with butter sizzling on them, the slices cooked the rest of the way through due to the scorching hot ceramic...that is, the first few slices until our plates cooled off and then the last few slices were still rare. We asked for another hot plate to finish cooking the steak, but I think I'd rather just have my steak cooked correctly by the cook instead of having to cook my own meal on my plate. Side dishes weren't anything to write home about. We got asparagus with hollandaise--but it wasn't a true hollandaise, it was more like an aioli which I do not care for. Inedible for a hollandaise--which was cold and exactly the consistency of mayo. Not a fan. Another side was potatoes au gratin. They came out cubed and in some very orange cheese. Reminded me of a casserole. We barely picked at it and left it alone. The best side in our opinion was the sautéed mushrooms. Those were a delight along with the baguette served with butter at the start. That bread was a dream and butter was perfect. Would we try it again? Yes. Would we change our order? Likely...or ask for some things on the side. As far as steak restaurants go? There are far better for probably the same price.

Ruth's Chris is always a good meal and so consistent from city to city. Great tasting / high quality beef. Always a prepare and cooks that is spot on. Sides are always great sides. And service that is always on point.

I love a good happy hour especially with a great atmosphere and delicious food. This Ruth's Chris steakhouse did not disappoint. The bartender was very quick kind and helpful. He did not check in too much. It was just right. The bar was filled with business people for the most part of the food was delicious. I would definitely get the calamari again. It had a really nice sweet chili sauce on it and the bread pudding was delicious.

Sat at the bar with a colleague while in town for a conference. The bar was packed but the bartender grabbed a chair to pull up so we could both sit which was extremely kind. They have a great wine by the glass selection and a delicious selection of appetizers. The ahi tuna was so fresh and delicious and the calamari was tossed in a sweet chili sauce with peppers that was tasty! We also indulged with a delicious bread pudding dessert. Great environment for a quick drink and appetizer with colleagues!

Went to Ruth's steakhouse late September 2025 with a friend visiting from out of state. The 3 course meal was amazing and the garlic mash potato's were worth savoring. The service was great and I wish I remember the waiters name to include in this review. The interior of the steakhouse was well lit and gave steakhouse vibes. I liked how thick the tablecloth was and it added a quality factor to the experience (random I know) . I will be coming back

I had amazing service at the bar during happy hour. Dylan was the waiter and he provided exceptional service. He was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. We shared a hometown connection but he was just was amazing with every customer he encountered. My food arrived quickly and tasted delicious per usual. My only pause was the shrimp that accompanied the BBQ shrimp entree were cold while sitting on the side of very hot mashed potatoes. Other than that the food was great. The bread was fresh out of the oven and the salad was tasty. Overall a great experience.

RC is one of my fave restaurants for steak. This time I ordered something different. First I arrived w a group of 4 others and while it didn't look very busy the service was slow initially. One person in group complained to the manager as it took 20+ mins to get our drinks. The server apologized saying they had a couple larger parties. Things changed from that onward as we had two ppl assisting w our table. Server did well also, I believe she was trying manage best she could. The environment is always nice, professional, and upscale and this was no exception. I ordered the crab cakes and the table ordered asparagus, Brussels sprouts, and mashed potatoes. The crab cakes were really good. Not over cooked and moist. Our sides were really good as well, the Brussels sprouts had a good level of Crispness and softness. Probably the standout among the sides.

Amazing dinner experience with Carla as our waitress. She is very knowledgeable about the wine selection and menu. Steak and lobster was cooked to perfection and flavorful. Will visit again and request Carla as our waitress.

    CLASSIC CHEESECAKE

This was my first time dining at any Ruth's Chris, and it certainly won't be my last. The experience was fantastic from start to finish. Went with a large party. I ordered the ribeye, and it was cooked to a perfect medium-rare. The steak had a great crust, rich beefy flavor, and the cut included a significant portion of the cap (longissimus), which was insanely flavorful -- an excellent ribeye. We decided to go all out and ordered every appetizer on the menu. Standouts were the calamari, which came with a sweet and tangy sauce that complemented the squid perfectly, and the seared ahi tuna, which was fresh with a wonderfully mild, meaty flavor. The goat cheese artichoke dip was fantastic, and the veal osso buco ravioli was rich and indulgent. The only thing I didn't enjoy was the lobster bisque; it had a slightly bitter aftertaste and a hint of fishiness that didn't quite hit the mark for me. We finished with the classic cheesecake, which was rich, decadent, and absolutely amazing -- the perfect way to end the meal. Beyond the food, the service was top-notch. The waitstaff was attentive and made us feel welcome from the moment we walked in. We dined in one of the cozy, private dining rooms, which added to the warm and inviting atmosphere. Overall, a stellar first experience at Ruth's Chris, and I can't wait to return!

RUTHS PRIME CHEESEBURGER* CREMINI MUSHROOMS POTATOES AU GRATIN GARLIC MASHED CREAMED SPINACH SWEET POTATO CASSEROLE

My daughter and I had dinner with a friend and our server George was absolutely phenomenal! He really made us feel special by cracking jokes and making fantastic food and drink recommendations. A truly wonderful dining experience with a fantastic staff. The vibe was very chill at bar dining. Lucas was very attentive as well clearing out our table and refilling our waters. The food was delicious and the desserts really tied the whole experience nicely!

Medium well steak or well don't not sure...not medium rare! Haha
    Paul R.

The waitstaff are wonderful here! The wine selection good. The calamari appetizer is great. The cooks did not seem to know what medium rare was. My petite filet came medium well or more, not even close to medium rare and I give a lot of leeway because different regions think medium rare is slightly different. Hey it still was a good steak but just letting the reader know to be aware they might not cook it to your preference. It might be required by law here I don't know. The crème brûlée was okay but it was really thick and solid, which is different than any previous crème brûlée I had elsewhere. It tasted okay. Overall a good experience here (especially with the awesome waitstaff!) but I won't be ordering steak or dessert there again. I would stick with the salads or pastas.

NY NEW YORK STRIP*LOBSTER MAC & CHEESE
    Ethan H.

The NY strip was cooked to perfection. So flavorful with the perfect amount of crisp. Highly recommend. After getting the lobster mac n cheese for a second time, it is just too cheesy for my liking so I'd recommend a different side. Also, I don't recommend the crab cakes.

I'd go back if a friend really wanted to go and we could sit at the bar, otherwise I was unimpressed with my experience there. 1. The decor/vibes are elegant and classy, but the staff aggressively ask for IDs at the door like bouncers instead of just asking at the time of ordering like a nice bar. Also the paper towels in the bathroom are the cheapest I've ever seen, not matching the facade of the place. They also make you pour your own water, just not elevated service considering the elevated appearance of the place. 2. Someone in my group called ahead the previous week to ask about a reservation accommodating 7 people since they only have reservations for up to 6 available online. When other people in the group arrived, the hostess/waitress was very resistant to us explaining our phone reservation and made us stand there at the front door to discuss instead of just letting us sit in the very empty seating area. After a few minutes of this, they finally let us sit in the wide open area for "an hour" until their actual reservation 1:45 after our arrival. The seating areas were small, so it makes sense they don't offer reservations for 7+, but then their employee shouldn't have told us on the phone that it'd be okay. 3. We watched them turn away a group with a silent infant because it wasn't 21, which just seemed odd. At the end they did bring our group cute cava shots, but I don't feel like that made up for the unwelcoming attitude of the staff.

Shout to the team for having our table ready when we got there even though it was very busy that day. We started off with the Fall Salad and I think it was one of my favorite things we ordered. I had no idea beets can be that delicious! After that, everything else came out: roasted carrots, barramundi, and wagyu flank steak. They also put in an order or pommes frites (French fries) on accident and decided to give it to us on the house. Thanks! The roasted carrots were really good and sweet. You could tell they were quality carrots. The barramundi was another one of my favorites. I'm a fan of fish and they did an excellent job of cooking the barramundi with a great sauce(?) that tasted great with it. I found the wagyu steak flank overcooked and really salty which was disappointing given the price. The pommes frites were cooked well but also extremely salty. Overall, I would recommend Sunday Vinyl if you are trying to take someone to a place that is unique and don't mind paying a bit extra. Let's start with the food. Everything was perfection. Our favorite was the aguachile de erizo (scallops and uni). The Santa Barbara uni is to die for. I'm not even a fan of uni nor scallops but the dish was so good especially with the aguachile. Do not skip that dish especially if you like a little bit of spicy. The Tostada del Toro was next up. This is the dish that everyone gets here and for good reason. First off, look at all those chives. The tostada shell was amazing with a nice charred taste to it and the aged toro (aged 3-6 days) was so flavorful and melted in the mouth. The burrata con huitlacoche was the most unique burrata dish I have ever had. The combination of the toasted bread, savory burrata, sweet nut crunch, and the unique taste of huitlacoche (Mexican caviar) was so well-done and just all fit so well together. Last but not least, the tres leches. Hands down, the best dessert I have ever had. Not too sweet and just heavenly. Do not skip this. I'm pretty sure I said "wow" after every bite. Second, drinks. I love mezcal. If you are a fan of mezcal or tequila, this place is a must go. I was given a free birthday shot with a side of crickets (I hate bugs but try it, it's actually really good), orange, and wormsalt. We got the Stinger and Colada. I was warned that the Stinger is a love it or hate it drink. I personally enjoyed it but it is very in your face with the herbal taste. The Colada is much easier. Last but not least, the service. Jorge, the sous chef, deserves 6 stars alone. He really elevated our experience which was already great to next level. He took care of us professionally while also being very personable. I would highly recommend getting a seat at the chef's table if you can. If you are celebrating an occasion, trying to impress a date, or just want a phenomenal meal, I can't recommend Mezcaleria Alma enough. I'll be back soon!

Super attentive, checking in often without being too much. 9.5/10. The loud music makes it tough to hear other tables, but since the seating is close and intimate, you can still easily hear the people you're with, which I actually liked. Food was elevated across the board. The tostada de toro was the standout. So fresh, perfectly balanced, creamy from the avocado with a nice crunch from the shell and sesame seeds. 9.5/10. Everything else was solid and flavorful, just not as memorable. Around 7.5/10 across those dishes. Drinks were good too. The daiquiri had a fun bubble gum flavor that I actually liked. 8/10. The corn sour was interesting with the mezcal base and surprisingly worked. 7/10. Loved that the drinks were strong. Overall, a really solid Michelin experience with great vibes and standout bites.

I've been staying at home, but was out of some of the beer I wanted to use. I went out for another errand and happened to pass by Cask and Craft. Hmmm...this sounds interesting. Plus it's a local shop, and I'm all about supporting local, particularly during this time. I pulled up Cask and Craft's website and was super happy to see the list of precautions they are taking to keep their customers safe. Some of these precautions include only 2 people in the shop at a time, use provided hand sanitizer when you enter, and even curbside pick up/delivery. Since I was sitting in front of the store, I figured I'd just go in, get what I needed, and quickly head home. I was greeted and asked to use the hand sanitizer upon entering - yes, thank you. I then explained from a distance that I was looking for a dark beer, preferably a stout. I was escorted to the back of the store and shown the fridge with all the dark beer. WOW! big selection. I had the choice of 6 packs, 4 packs, or mix and match. This was perfect for me because I needed 5 beers. I ended up selecting Jackie O's Java the Stout. When I brought up my 5 pack, the owner told me it was a great beer (one of his favorite dark beers) and that it was a solid choice. He was not wrong. This beer is awesome, and paired so well with my peanut butter cookie pairing. So good. I will definitely be back to Cask and Craft. Their shop is filled with all different types of wine, liquor, and beer. It's organized so nicely, and the shop itself has this comforting vibe when you walk in. I'm so appreciative of everything they are doing to keep customers safe and for the recommendations they give.
