The photos that are posted are what lead me to try this place. After having tried a few of their tacos I would say they are mediocre at best and I could make a superior taco at home. The tortillas are just basic store-bought brand and were not cooked enough for my liking. I prefer warm tortillas that are soft and these were cold and hard, almost as if they had been sitting out too long. The taco filling was a bit on the sparse side especially for the price. I love the options of tacos! There are some fun stuff like fried chicken tacos and bbq brisket tacos. The prices are reasonable at about $3 each. But they're not big. So I'd say 3 tacos can feed the normal person. The flavor and quality are both good. I wouldn't say this is my favorite place for tacos but it's a nice hip option in the area. The street corn was mediocre at best as it's just a bunch of topping onto a layer of bland corn. The corn had no flavor in itself. Even after mixing it up the corn itself was still bland. Food was good but can be a little pricey. Its a pretty popular spot especially during the lunch time rush. Placed a pretty large order and had to wait for a little while to get my food. The wait was a little tough since there isn't a great spot to wait for your food and since they don't have much seating with social distancing. We love Rusty Taco! It's the first taco place we tried when we moved here and boy did we land a good one - we never want to go anywhere else. It's always let go to rusty taco! All their taco are good - but we have a liking for the carnitas, brisket, and shrimp tacos! Their margaritas are impressively good too - stick with the original flavor - I prefer a nice refreshing margarita than the sugary ones - but it's up to you. I've tried the mango which is pretty good too. You really can't go wrong here. One more word -- QUESO! Yes yes and yes to this one! It's so good. Ordered some grilled chicken nachos and a street taco. The nachos are easily the worst nachos I've ever had. We picked them and drove home. Not even a 3 minute drive. The chips were wet and soggy. There wasn't a crispy chip in the entire dish. I ended up using scoops for the loads of tomatoes and onions and the very few pieces of chicken. No cheese on the nachos at all. The street taco was average at best but I get nachos everywhere I go to just how a places food will be by how good their nachos are. This was just sad. read more

Very surprising when I got to eat these tacos. And it's awesome they are open during these certain times. Not only the food was great the employees that greeted my roommate and myself were very pleasant. Thank you rusty for hiring very admirable employees. So ongoing to the tacos. I ordered roasted pork(carnitas),brisket,and the rusty taco (al pastor). Man these were super. The al pastor was super flavorful. I was melting in my truck eating this. Btw yes open for take out. Came in with a group of friends for a late dinner. Ordered the green street taco ($4.50), the texican ($3.50), and a rusty taco ($3.75). Ultimately, they were all...fine. Favorite part was the grilled pineapple on the rusty taco. Salsas--sampled the green/mild, which really didn't have any flavor to it. There's also a red/medium salsa offered, but I didn't try it. A friend said the habanero salsa (bright orange) was really hot! They also tried the buffalo nachos, which went quickly. I also ordered the prickly pair frozen margarita ($5), which was probably the highlight! Also tried a friends watermelon jalapeno margarita, which only comes on the rocks. Why is it every place that serves liquor thinks they can get away with selling lousy food at high prices as if everyone will get so tipsy they won't notice or care? Small and flimsy "street tacos" that completely fell apart after the first bite. My shrimp taco had shrimp so small they looked like the tiny canned shrimp they put on top of salads. Came here with a friend for a quick snack, got a taco and some chips. Our hostess/cashier was Trinese. She was extremely rude, gave us attitude and seemed like it was inconvenient for us to be there. We definitely didn't feel welcomed. I got a chicken fajita taco, just ONE and it was $3.23, not sure why one taco with one piece of chicken & some bell peppers was that much.
