Tacos Tijuana is my absolute favorite local taco shop! It's easily one of the best taco spots in the area and genuinely holds up when compared to authentic tacos I've had in Tijuana. The quality really stands out--especially the homemade tortillas, which take everything to the next level. The al pastor and carne asada are both incredible, packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. I also love that the al pastor is cooked authentically on a spit, which really adds to the flavor and experience. There's also a great variety of options on the menu, so there's something for everyone. Service is consistently quick, even when it's busy, which makes it a great spot whether you're grabbing a quick meal or sitting down to enjoy your food. Their Taco Tuesday deal is also a huge win--great value without sacrificing quality, and it keeps us coming back regularly. And the salsa deserves its own shoutout--absolutely incredible! Had the carne asada tacos and pastor mulita. The carne assada tacos were great, the taste and toppings were good. The tortilla was excellent and complemented it very well. The hot sauce did the job as well. The pastor mulita did the job, the pastor was flavor-full but it had its own style, it wasn't like the pastor in Tijuana and was different than the usual pastor in az. It was different, but cant hold its own without the guac salsa cheese carrying it Would go back for the carne asada tacos, and 4/5 because the price tag. The price to quality is good, but the quantity is a stretch. 2-3 bite max tacos for over 3 dollars is wild work. The quality tho, makes it worth returning for sure read more

The flavors were good but the portions were terrible. These are truly the smallest street tacos I've ever had, maybe 1 1/2 tablespoons of meat per taco? I added a picture with a teaspoon to show exactly how small. Also, my interaction with an employee wasn't the best. I didn't realize horchata was an option on this $17 combo, (horchata was priced cheaper than a fountain drink) until after I had put fountain pepsi in my cup. I asked if i could do horchata instead in the same cup. The cashier was persistent in telling me that I was wasting the fountain soda..... the freely accessible fountain with unlimited refills that costs them less than 5 cents per drink. She didn't tell me no, she more so decided to lecture me about wasting the single cup of soda. I would've preferred a firm no over the lecture. It was awkward, she was definitely hoping I'd say never mind. So I stared at her & asked again, 3 more times, can we do that? She finally said fine just this one time. Like girl , come on. My family and I spent well over $50 and I even tipped you for this ridiculously small portion of food. Oh well, we won't be back, there are plenty of other spots with better portions and less lectures. read more

Tried the tortilla with pork. The meat and the flavoring was very good. Corn tortilla was really soft and fluffy, and felt very fresh. The guacamole sauce was good but I'd have preferred the guacamole or avocado instead, which would have made it even better. I wish they had more hard shell corn taco options. I am a little torn about this place, as to whether it deserves three or four stars. I got two Carne Asada tacos with a side of refried beans and a side of grilled peppers. The tacos were very good, the meat was well seasoned, and the toppings were fresh, as well as the corn tortillas. My only regret is that I only ordered two of them and I could've easily eaten three. The refried beans were pretty mid. This may be a personal preference, but I like my beans with some texture and these were very smooth, like they had been put in a blender and processed until they were smooth. They were also a little underseasoned, but maybe that's because they're not necessarily meant to just be eaten alone. Again, that might just be my personal preference. The grilled peppers were Serranos and I knew when I saw them that they would be very spicy. They were, and I could not stop eating them, but that's tomorrow's problem. The salsas were quite good, the red salsa had a really nice chili flavor. The other salsa had a nice tang and was milder in spice level. I would definitely go back here as the service was very fast and friendly and I do feel that the prices are fair. The tacos are just a little over three dollars each and they also have many vegetarian options. The restaurant was clean, although quite small so you may want to order to go. I imagine that the burritos would also be quite good as the Carne Asada was delicious. I just would not order the refried beans again. read more

Best Authentic Taco spot in the East Valley! It's quick and the service is always great! They serve juices/jugos and their salsas are super tasty and homemade. Their pastor is my favorite and their carne asada is so fresh and tender. If you want authentic street tacos and sides come here! Their quesadillas are best! I could eat just that and would still give this restaurant a 5 staff rating! Three is plenty of seating even though it's a small place. Not great for groups, 6-8 max guests comfortably. I wanted tacos...I heard that's all this place does so I checked it out. I expected more variety but they only do Carne Asada and Al Pastor....but let's be honest, those are great options so I got 3 of each and I have no complaints! The staff were friendly and they were cleaning up the place after the dinner rush (which I appreciate). It took all of 3 minutes for my order to be ready (if that). The store doesn't offer a whole lot of seating but it was enough for me If you need a taco fix and like limited options, this is a great stop. Been here countless times and never fails me. My favorite here is the Al pastor taco with the corn tortillas. Very delicious and worthy of cheat days. I tend to order everything on top which comes with onions, guacamole and you have to order the cheese topping as extra (don't forget!) The corn tortilla is made in house, made with love. Lol. Another good option is the carne asada. The quesadilla is another one I love the service here is fast, friendly. I stumbled upon this place when I was in need of lunch break while running errands. They have a simple menu serving either steak or pork. I ordered their 3 steak taco combo. Which came with rice and beans. The flavor of the meat was amazing and so delicious. The restaurant is on the smaller side, but gives you a local mom and pop vibe. For me personally it was an average taco place and not worth the cost. I had two asada and one pastor taco and two asada vampiros. Tacos hardly had any meat. Vampiros were loaded. These tacos are the bomb!! My fave tacos in AZ so far. I love me some no frills, basic street tacos. No need for a bunch of fancy toppings. Just a fire hand pressed corn tortilla, flavorful meat, fresh onions, and cilantro. Their avocado salsa on top was really good too. Loved the tortilla, I'll have to try their flour one next. Only sells 2 types of meat - carne asada and al pastor, so if you don't eat red meat this might not be the place for you! I loved the carne asada while my husband preferred al pastor. Any restaurant that caters to my diet (most of the time) is a win-win. After a sporting event with the family, we were all craving tacos. Nothing over the top, just tacos, chips, salsa, and beverage. No chips or salsa here, but the food we ordered didn't disappoint. The menu is pretty straightforward and it's not complicated. Al Pastor or Carne Asada tacos you can't go wrong with. If it's your first time, make sure you try the Vampiro (open face taco with a crunchy tortilla & melted cheese) or the Mulitas which are 2 crunch tortillas with meat & cheese). The Keto tacos were a hit for me as they get the cheese shell nice and golden brown. Lots of flavor packed into the tacos and that works. Would like to have chips with it, but that's not on the menu. FINALLY a good taco spot! Most taco places are just trendy and try to make their mediocre food look good. This place tastes great! Their al pastor is cooked amazing and very flavorful.
