Pricing- I spent almost $19 on 3 tacos with consome and a drink. $5 a taco is steep but I'd have payed it without complaint if the food had been good. For one, birria should be orange from the consome. It should be well cooked with plenty of cheese. Mine were tiny, the tortilla was flavorless bland corn, barely cooked, still yellow. The texture was bad. There was very little cheese. This is my third time at a taco spot and this location is by far the worst. I was thinking about trying the mango magic drink but $14?? $14 for some syrup and ice? The consome tasted sterile like soap or something, the tacos smelled bad, and the flavors were not there. I usually drink my consome but this one wasn't even dip worthy. Worst birria tacos I've ever had, including the prepackaged ones from Costco. Lastly, the hibiscus agua Fresca was sweet like an assault on my taste buds. I'm a sugar fiend but I had a stomach ache halfway in and it was so sugared I could barely handle the taste. I tossed it. The employee described it as bitter, which blows my mind. If you want birria, try a local mom and pop joint. If you try this chain, pick a different location and open your wallet up. read more

This was for a carryout order so I can't attest to the dining experience, but overall I thought the food we did order was average at best. It may be part of the problem is I ordered a burrito instead of a taco, which seems to be their namesake specialty, but that being said, I found my burrito to be rather bland. The guy at the counter asked if we wanted street tacos or the regular tacos, we asked for the regular tacos; but not sure how the street tacos could be much smaller. The tacos themselves were ok, my favorite being the surf and turf. It was filled with a lot of toppings, like the other ones should have been. The Al pastor tacos were my least favorite. I usually do not give one star reviews but our food was terrible. We did a carry out or I would have complained to the manager. The birria tacos were gross with little flavor and no dipping consomme. The quesadilla tasted burnt and there was hardly anything inside the tortilla. Plus, very expensive with the bill totaling over $30. We both had stomach aches throughout the night. Fabulous Mexican food. Insane flavor and quality. My dad was visiting from the east coast and I wanted him to try quality Mexican, as the east coast has better Italian , sushi , and Chinese. I wasn't sure what to order. Ive seen IG Posts and DoorDash ads for the taco spot, because I love ramen and birria - and they have a combo of both on their menu, but had never tried. My husband and I decided to give it shot as it was close and quick delivery and had an enticing menu. IT WAS AMAZING. I will not order from anywhere else moving forward. I came for the birria - which is excellent. But I am staying for the el pastor !! Most places don't offer it on their menu. This place does and it was to DIE FOR. Super tender. Flavorful and fresh. I was so happy to see keto tacos. Which you don't have to be a low carb high fat diet to love. The taco shell is a mix of crispy and melted cheese instead of a tortilla. Probably better than an actual taco shell for most people. And I am obsessed with their orange/red hot sauce. Super spicy / lots of flavor. Different than any other Mexican place , which is risky - but better!! You think - how did I ever eat Mexican without this before ?? Truly re-inventing AZ Mexican food. Which is already top notch and everywhere has the same basics and standards. This place is a must. And the simple fact they offer keto is a huge plus as majority of Mexican food places have zero health conscious or health conscious and delicious choices. The best you can typically get is a taco salad in a giant hard taco shell. Who would ever order ?? And if you do and eat the giant shell bowl ... what was the point? - you ate a cold salad taco with zero gooey cheese / flavor and a larger taco shell with more carbs an cals than a burrito or taco platter. Well well well. $2 Taco Tuesday? Not so sure. Ordered 6 Street Tacos tonight. 12/2/2025. 4 Chicken and 2 Carne Asada. Came out to $15. Did not Notice till after I started eating. So, I asked the young lady behind the counter. Should this be $12? She said oh there is an up Charge to the Asada Tacos $.50 Each. I said oh ok but that's $13 With the upcharge. She said oh but there is TAX. I looked and there was Gilbert City tax but nothing else. Taco cost was still $15. Is there 2 Tax that I did not know about? Very underwhelming!! Three Birria tacos w/flavorless consomme for $16!! The tiny street size tacos had hardly ANY meat and overflowing with tomatoes. The consomme was nothing more than flavorless broth. My partner had the chicken burrito which he said was dry and flavorless to say the least. If it not for the salsa, he would've chucked it in the trash. And the Mexican music was blasting SO loud you could not hold a conversation. Service was just ok.
