    Mini birria with no cheese
    Ethan B.

Pricing- I spent almost $19 on 3 tacos with consome and a drink. $5 a taco is steep but I'd have payed it without complaint if the food had been good. For one, birria should be orange from the consome. It should be well cooked with plenty of cheese. Mine were tiny, the tortilla was flavorless bland corn, barely cooked, still yellow. The texture was bad. There was very little cheese. This is my third time at a taco spot and this location is by far the worst. I was thinking about trying the mango magic drink but $14?? $14 for some syrup and ice? The consome tasted sterile like soap or something, the tacos smelled bad, and the flavors were not there. I usually drink my consome but this one wasn't even dip worthy. Worst birria tacos I've ever had, including the prepackaged ones from Costco. Lastly, the hibiscus agua Fresca was sweet like an assault on my taste buds. I'm a sugar fiend but I had a stomach ache halfway in and it was so sugared I could barely handle the taste. I tossed it. The employee described it as bitter, which blows my mind. If you want birria, try a local mom and pop joint. If you try this chain, pick a different location and open your wallet up.

The tacos were very flavorful, good portion size I had the #5 3 tacos rice and beans. (Asado,Birria,Pastor) Pastor was a bit in the salty side, melon drink was very good. Men's and Women's restrooms were clean. Lighting was bright and the wall art was colorful. Service was prompt and professional.

Carne asada street tacos with guacamole

Yum! I'm always down for a taco and the carne asada street taco hit my #1. New to the area and I would say they are comparable to tacos el gordo in Vegas. Iykyk! Service was quick. A few tables as what you'd expect from a taco shop and clean. Cashiers very friendly.

Wanted to grab a quick lunch for my team, and we all decided on this taco spot. The location was very clean, and the young lady who assisted me was friendly and helpful in explaining the menu. We placed a to-go order, and everything went smoothly.

Upon a recommendation from a coworker, I got a surf and turf burrito and it was fantastic.

We were excited to try this place, but sadly it was just ok. We paid $44 for 9 tacos, which didn't seem horrible until I saw the size of the tacos, they were pretty small. The guy at the counter asked if we wanted street tacos or the regular tacos, we asked for the regular tacos; but not sure how the street tacos could be much smaller. The tacos themselves were ok, my favorite being the surf and turf. It was filled with a lot of toppings, like the other ones should have been. The Al pastor tacos were my least favorite. They didn't provide dipping sauce for the birria tacos, so not sure if that was an oversight or not. Glad we tried it, but probably wouldn't go back.

Food was okay but pricey and loud inside the restaurant. I would not go out of my way but not bad for Gilbert.

The best place ever. Great service amazing people. In a very good environment I recommend 100%!

Tiny tacos. Where's the meat? It was really just a tortilla with lettuce and tomato. I'll go anywhere else next time.

OK, we've been big fans of Caldwell's BBQ for years and somehow had never made it over to…read moreCaldwell's Mexi-Q... big mistake on our part--especially since it combines two of my all-time favorite things...brisket and tacos! Parking was a breeze, and since there were three of us (including one never-full teenager ), we went for the Mexi-Q Platter and added an extra birria taco so everyone could try one. It absolutely lived up to the hype! The surprise standout? The brisket tostada--sooooo flavorful and satisfying on every level! We also loved the sausage link, Mexi-Q twinkies (aka smoked jalapeños stuffed with brisket and cream cheese, then wrapped in bacon ), and honestly, everything we tried was a hit. For sides, we ordered Grandma's Calabacitas (a yummy squash veggie mix), roasted cream elote, and Julio's mac n' cheese (which I skipped, but the guys were big fans). We wrapped up this phenomenal meal with their GF banana pudding (they offer both GF and regular options), and it was seriously scrumptious--such a treat to have a gluten-free dessert that feels just as special! From the moment we walked in, the service was warm and attentive. They double-checked that everything we ordered (minus the mac n' cheese) was gluten-free, which is always such a relief. It means so much when a place truly understands gluten and can clearly guide you on what's safe. We sat outside and soaked up the beautiful weather--it was the perfect setting for such a fun and tasty meal! An easily awarded and well deserved

I stopped by this spot to try their spin of Mexican bbq. The carnitas taco was really good. I put…read morethe Carolina gold bbq sauce on it and it was perfect. I liked that sauce so much that I'd consider going back just to try it on some of their other bbq. I didn't like the brisket birria taco as much because it was way too salty for me. The mac and cheese was also just okay. It had so much sauce that it was too thick and unpleasant to eat. The vibe was good though. They have seating inside and outside. I love that they had the misters running to keep the outdoor seating cool. The staff was also very nice.
