Had this place bookmarked & have driven by it many times. Taco Elegante's claims to serve up "the best carne asada tacos in town" so this was the reason we wanted to give it a shot. Came in last night close to 8PM and decided to order "to go". They do have some seating available inside for dine in customers, but unfortunately noticed their salsa bar was empty! Doesn't look to even be in use? This should have been a sign.. Ordered their Carne Asada burrito which my husband specifically asked what came inside the burrito. The woman at the counter said it comes with pico de gallo & guacamole. He was happy to hear that as some places add the additional fillers such as rice /beans etc. I chose the beef enchilada combination plate. The nice thing about that is the choices beef, chicken or cheese are all the same price. We also got a carne asada taco cause "you know"! Wait for our meal wasn't long. There was only a family of four dinning inside. When we got home all was packed & presented nicely. That was the best part. The Carne Asada Burrito was $10.85 and was not the size it should have been; plus it didn't have one dollop of guacamole! The taco was average at $4.95 more fresh pico than actual meat & majorly skimpy on that guacamole. There was zero marinade flare to the meat. The combo plate was the best choice as far as the price, but still $12.50?! The enchilada sauce was bland and lots of shredded lettuce as more of a garnish and not needed. Rice and beans had no affect on the tastebuds. The salsas red/green are really watered down and have not one bit of flavor or heat. Our bill was $29.75 for three items, NO drinks! Super disappointing with the cost, craving completely cancelled and didn't even eat half of my meal 'cause it just missed the mark. I can say that we tried, bookmark removed and not a location we will return.

Sausage egg and potato burrito 8 dollars.

Time for another installment of The Great Taco Journey. I was hungry for a breakfast burrito and decided to give this restaurant a chance. Very clean inside a little on the small side. But I was impressed by how busy it was at 10:00 in the morning on a Sunday. I ordered a sausage and egg burrito made fresh. Came hot off the grill. It was very flavorful and I would definitely recommend it. I know what you're thinking, but Mark why would you order a taco at 10:00 in the morning on a Sunday? Because I always am hungry for a taco lol. I got the adobada soft taco. I was very impressed with the flavor and freshness of the taco. Just the right amount of heat brought by the seasoning on the taco. Plenty of adobada on the taco. I will definitely be back to try some other items on the menu. Definitely worth a visit!

Carne asada burrito really good. A lot of steak and good amount of avocado. Carnitas soft taco is really good and is huge. Salsa and chip is really. Home made salsa is awesome.

They need to update their profiles it's now called Tacos Elegante. And it beats Tosinos by a million stars!!! SOOO good! I ordered the rolled tacos, carne asada quesadilla and bean/cheese burrito. One of the best bean and cheese burritos I've ever had. Service was friendly. Red sauce is delicious. I'll definitely be back now that it's no longer Tosino's!!!

This place is so good!! I have never had anything bad from here! My favorites are the rolled tacos and horchata! The horchata is made fresh daily and it's so creamy! It is not watered down like most taco shops! The owners are so nice! It doesn't take long to get your food and it's made to order!

We ordered Carne Asada tacos (regular and Mini) and the carne asada was flavorful and green hot sauce was yummy.

Idk but don't eat here

I told the lady specifically what I wanted . Which was shrimp tacos . With pico . I also told her I wanted it spicy . I have no idea what the heck she gane me but it's not even close to what I wanted . So rather then let me reorder without charging me she has the audacity to try and make me pay again when I didn't eat anything!

Fresh hot chips and yummy salsa

Wanted to check out some new tacos places so based on reviews we decided to go here. We got mini tacos carne asada doe the kids and the regular size tacos for myself and the hubby. First the regular tacos are HUGE!!! I got Al pastor, carne asada, chicken and carnitas. I got it with pico and guacamole. Also got chips and salsa. Chips are hot and fresh. The salsas are so tasty! Not super spicy on the more mild ones. My fav salsa was the ones that came with the chips. My fav taco was the carnitas cause they fry the meat and it's crispy! Carne asada was close second. Wasn't a fan of the other two. I've been here twice now cause it's so good!

Asked for three Carne Asada Burritos. Two came the same, one didn't.

I used to love going here because when you asked for a carne asada burrito it had the guacamole, pico de gallo, & you could get the pickled carrots & jalapeños on the side. I went today (June 12th. 9-10 am) asked for three carne asada burritos & they fucking came with rice & beans.. My parents & I loved coming here & now we won't put the effort going here.

3 taquitos. Guacamole & cheese with a Verde & hot salsa on the side.

I was craving taquitos for lunch & decided to try this place. They were friendly, the food was fresh, I sat a table in the cute little dining area & was very pleased overall. Perfect, tasty little lunchtime snack for about $5. I'll be back.

For this occasion we ordered: Bone in ribeye: 4/5- the 20oz steak was perfectly cooked with a charred flavor, but I personally think it's missing butter and some rosemary. As for the mashed potatoes, it was finely grated and mashed and was just divine to eat Salmon carpaccio 3/5- the ponzu flavor was light and not too overwhelming and thought it was great sauce. However, the deduction comes in the way the salmon was cut. For sure if the Salmon were thinly slice vs chucks, I would've gave this dish a higher score. Cutting it in chucks had this mushy texture Ceviche 5/5- this ceviche was delicious. Right amount of seasoning, and with that hint of coconut it complimented the fish and shrimp to perfection As for the service, definitely could've used some improvement. Parking was a breeze, and since there were three of us (including one never-full teenager ), we went for the Mexi-Q Platter and added an extra birria taco so everyone could try one. It absolutely lived up to the hype! The surprise standout? The brisket tostada--sooooo flavorful and satisfying on every level! We also loved the sausage link, Mexi-Q twinkies (aka smoked jalapeños stuffed with brisket and cream cheese, then wrapped in bacon ), and honestly, everything we tried was a hit. For sides, we ordered Grandma's Calabacitas (a yummy squash veggie mix), roasted cream elote, and Julio's mac n' cheese (which I skipped, but the guys were big fans). We wrapped up this phenomenal meal with their GF banana pudding (they offer both GF and regular options), and it was seriously scrumptious--such a treat to have a gluten-free dessert that feels just as special! From the moment we walked in, the service was warm and attentive. They double-checked that everything we ordered (minus the mac n' cheese) was gluten-free, which is always such a relief. It means so much when a place truly understands gluten and can clearly guide you on what's safe. We sat outside and soaked up the beautiful weather--it was the perfect setting for such a fun and tasty meal! An easily awarded and well deserved

Great sign as I'm sure it was even busier later after 2 pm when their Taco Tuesday starts. Parking was plentiful about a block away behind the buildings in the parking lot. There's also a parking structure nearby. As soon as we sat someone came out with chips and salsa. I was pleased to see they have a happy hour menu daily until 6 pm. I ordered the Joyride Margarita and shrimp ceviche from the HH menu. Margarita was good, you could taste the alcohol and the tajin rim was tasty. The ceviche was great with a good amount of shrimp and avocado, very flavorful. Both were great considering they were only $6 each. For entrees we ordered the SoCal Burrito and the Beast Burrito. The SoCal Burrito was really good, and there was a lot of big shrimps. The al pastor was a bit salty as was the carne asada in the Beast Burrito but it wasn't too bad. We also ordered one crispy fish taco which was good and came with a heaping scoop of guacamole. I really enjoyed the side salad that comes with the burritos! It had huge corn nuts which was a nice surprise. All in all their menu could be a tad larger (I was hoping for burrito bowls or a fish burrito) but their food is pretty tasty. Our server was very nice and checked in on us just the right amount of times, offering more chips and salsa as soon as we needed it. Parking is easy and there is a lot of outdoor seating, which we needed since we had our dog with us. We'll definitely be back!

The service was good, but not great, and the food was good, but not worth the money. We tried the Green Chili cornbread, and it was much sweeter than I expected, but it was good. The tacos were small 3" street tacos for $3 to $4. That's basically $1 per bite. I tried the chicken, beef, and carna asada. The chicken and beef had very good flavor with a hint of smoke, but the carna asada was dry and tasteless. I saw the food on the tablets next to us, and most of it looked like fairly small servings, except for a burrito one person had. It was huge, and looked good. The house Margaritas were served in a small rocks glass, and I didn't taste any triple sec, or much tequila either. The lime had a nasty taste to like they were old. For a $7 margarita it sucked, and they called that a special. If money is not a concern then maybe you'll like this place, but I wouldn't call it a good value at all. The flavors were good, but not at the price. They don't even give you free chips and salsa, and I saw the guacamole order next to us and it was a tiny serving for $11.
