The menu offers a variety of options from tacos and burritos to quesadillas and tostadas. We ordered chips and guac to share, protein bowl with shrimp for me, and birria tacos for my husband. The guac was just okay. It was pureed, which is not my favorite type and also lacked flavor. My protein bowl with shrimp on the other hand, was tasty and filling. One time I was in the store when the owner asked how we liked the food and we spent close to an hour talking about the sourcing and the quality among other things. I've had repeated issues at this location with pricing and order accuracy. It was pretty good. The rolled tacos were tasty as was the kids quessaldillas. My son had the. California burrito and said it was the best burrito he ever had. He has wanted another every night since we were there. The bean and cheese burrito had like a can of beans inside. It was not easy to eat. The salsas and the spicy carrots at the salsa bar are delicious. If you eat there they give you chips and salsa. We took ours home. The server was lovely. The Senor Taco located at 4200 S Arizona Ave #5, Chandler, AZ 85248, which is the one at the corner of Ocotillo and Arizona. They must have had a new crew NOT working this morning. I went there at 8:30 am through the drive-thru, and no one was answering the intercom system. I waited for a while since I had seen a car ahead of me. So I pulled ahead and saw the other car in front of me waiting at the window. They received their order and pulled away. I pulled up to the window, which you can see through from the outside, and of course, no one came to the window. I know they were not bust because there was no one else behind me. A favorite of ours! Note there are 2 locations...this one you can make customizations (add sauces etc.) Our favorite is the Diablo shrimp burrito, or bowl with a side of the white sauce normally served with the quesadillas. The restaurant is set up to be a quick bite spot, but it's always busy! Be ready to wait a bit if you go during peak dining times! We've ordered pickup multiple times and each time we have had a good experience. My only negative is using doordash with this restaurant...we always seem to have issues and now no longer use the app, just go pick up ourselves. read more

Senor Taco keeps me coming back for seconds every time. We enjoy the California burrito with the red salsa. There is an extra charge for the pickled onions and carrots. The Flan is great. Service is a little slow, wait time is something they could improve especially at the drive thru but the food is very fresh and tastes good so I'm not complaining. Shrimp, shrimp, shimp... and fish too! This is my go-to location for anything shrimp in the valley, even over any seafood restaurants. Grilled Shrimp Taco - the shrimp are tasty and succulent and do not have that non-fresh shrimp taste which you get at many places. Shrimp Avocado Caesar Salad - It is huge and in my opinion the best shrimp caesar avocado salad in all of Phoenix. I recently brought one home from another location and a day later I took the salad, put it into a bowl, along with all the toppings that came with it. There was so much salad it nearly filled a 1 gallon tupperware bowl - it was like it doubled in size from the container it came in. Prior to covid, the cost was $11+. Post covid it only went up $12+. Price to value/quality could not be beat before covid and with everyone raising their prices from 20% to 30% afterwards, it's an even better value now. Ceviche (shrimp cocktail style) Tostada - this is my wife's favorite, which is very fresh tasting and a nice cooling treat. Shrimp Quesadilla - It is large and extremely tasty. Shrimp Cocktail - This comes in a large goblet with plenty of shrimp, chopped vegetables, a very flavorful tomato juice and all the crackers you need. And now for this fish... I passed by Senor Taco and was excited to see they had a drive thru! There's a massive parking lot surrounding this taco joint, so you have to drive around to find it. I didn't go inside so I don't know what it's like. The drive thru servers were not pleasant; they almost sounded bitter at life. On Wednesday's, they have $1.99 shrimp and fish tacos, so I tried one of each. Both were delicious. My only suggestion would be to give a tad bit more meat, or make smaller tortillas. The tacos are served on double tortillas, and I found that eating the taco with just one layer was great. I tried both red and green salsa and decided both are necessary for the fish taco. The shrimp taco is full of flavor by itself already. I would have liked some lemon sprinkled on top but forgot to ask since I was in the drive thru. What I really liked was that they gave me the red and green hot sauce which did enhance the flavor is a little bit and make it somewhat more delicious. The people are always nice, it's always clean, the food is always hot fresh and beyond tasty. I have eaten in this area many a time and thought (from the outside) that this place would have been sketchy. The quick taco shops normally aren't my favorites, with too high frequency of the greasy tacos. After watching streams of people move through here on a regular basis I figure I would give it a shot. I am glad I did. I had a daily special, fish taco and shrimp taco plus a drink for under eight bucks. They were full size tacos, overflowing with pico. Both the fish and shrimp portions were generous. The fish was battered and fried perfectly, and the shrimp were grilled just right. The salsa bar had spicy onions, hot carrots, roasted Serrano's, limes, a tomatillo salsa and a mild or spicy red salsa. All were good. I will definitely be back. read more

Welcomed by the gal at the counter to take my order. Order 2 shredded beef tacos with no tomatoes with rice, no beans. She read back my order, I paid and had a seat till ready. I chose take out as I was by myself. My total was $8 and some change. 1st mistake, I drove away and didn't check my order. Ugh!!! Tacos look great with no tomatoes, but ALL flipped beans!!!! Yucky!!! First of all, how DARE Filiberto's charge the prices they charge these days when places like Senor Taco exists? I've been a fan of Senor Taco for some time now. You want a newborn sized burrito? They got it. You want bomb carne asada fries? Senor Taco has your back. My meals have always tasted fresh and delicious and they still have cheap prices and choices unlike a lot of fast mex places like Filiberto's. Honestly every combo at Filiberto's now is like over $12 lol. If you wanna feel nostalgic and pay 12 bucks for somewhat garbo food, Filiberto's has you covered I guess??? Okay, enough ranting about Fili B! Senor Taco salsa bar is great, with stuff available like hot onions, hot pickled carrots, and roasted peppers. This location is clean with cute decor and wall art (new 50s-esque Mexican portraits up now), and service was good. I love the daily special menu full of awesome choices for only 6.99 that includes tortilla chips and a drink. I got my fave, the chipotle shrimp burrito - so good and LOADED with shrimp! Food is usually good however, when you have to DESHELL the shrimp in your shrimp burrito, it's kinda annoying.

$1.50 for some extra white sauce for my fish tacos that was suppose to have white sauce on it (to be honest, it had a smidge of it in the taco, maybe a tsp amount)...I think that's a little steep (a side of sour cream is .50 cents), which I would've gladly paid BUT $1.50??? That's crazy! The tacos were dry that's why I wanted a little extra sauce. The lady up front was eating her food behind the counter while helping customers...I've worked in the food service industry and that's a BIG NO NO! Good thing I wasn't the health inspector.
