Came here recently and tried the chicken tacos, asada, and the birria tacos. The large birria tacos were the standout BY FAR, super delicious and juicy birria tacos with a great cheese pull. There's definitely a reason they're known for their birria. Wasn't the biggest fan of american cheese and lettuce on my asada tacos, but you can always have those left out and sub Monterrey cheese and cilantro onions. Probably a 3.5/5 We were the only people here, but lots of to-go orders. They have one high chair for the whole place and it was quite dirty. The restaurant itself was very clean though, no dirty tables. The menu is on a screen and rotates- it's rather hard to actually see what all they have. The paper menus don't have prices and are not the full menu either. Hubs got 2 tacos w fries, I got street tacos. The taste = good, not greasy and no weird hard things in the meat. The quantity= very tight with the meat...as in the street tacos had barely any meat and were tiny baby tacos. The fries were excellent. I think this place is more for their birria ramen- that's what all the to-go orders were. I'm not sure we would be back but the overall experience was good enough. read more

Don't go here anymore, this place to be honest sucks, the food is not good anymore and way less portions, they were good before but now are charging for whatever because don't have money or I don't know, I usually get items in good price but today the cashier Bairon was acting smartass with me and didn't know about the prices, and apparently suddenly they "raised the prices" from one week to another, so so stupid that's how bad right now they are, makes sense why the place is always empty. OK, this place has the best Barria tacos and consume, The best Birria ramen, basically the best Barria everything! All of their street tacos are delicious, as well as many of their burritos. They also have a bunch of keto tacos that are great.. I think we have been getting takeout from here at least once or twice a week for the past 8 months. I never have actually been in the restaurant so I can't comment , but the food is awesome.. just trust me on the Barria ramen you will not regret it. The taco spot is hidden right in Chandler! It has really cute decor. Inside is very small, it has 4 tables inside. The restaurant was a 5.5 or 6/10. I just wish the quality of the food was better. It did not have much flavor until you added the salsas. The green salsa was really good and added the needed flavor to the food, but without the salsa there was not any flavor. We ordered 2 quesadillas (one with asada) and then a Asada burrito. The pricing is a bit higher than average in my opinion and the portions are pretty small for the price you pay. The parking lots is very small, but if you go during off hours you shouldn't have any issue finding parking. I would possibly come back to try another menu item; if it was close by but I wouldn't go out of my way to go. It reminds me a lot like fast food, with a higher price. Our food took about 15 minutes to make; which I feel like is an average amount of time to get your order. We were the only people in the restaurant and the staff was very nice. read more

Very tasty tacos and tortas! Swung by on a Thursday evening around 7:45pm. Horchata and cantaloupe agua fresca were tasty; horchata came in a huge reusable mug thing (?) Very clean eating area with booths and high top tables. Tacos were very tasty, and the battered fries were super crisp. Didn't try the torta, but my friend said it was very good. Came with a variety of salsas with varying spice levels. Ended up taking the leftover salsas home to pour on some breakfast eggs the following morning :) My friend and I were chatting up a storm around 9:15, and didn't realize they closed at 9pm. We had heard a lot of things about The Taco Spot, but it was not good at all. It took over an hour to arrive on DoorDash, and everything tasted greasy and old. The Birria Ramen wasn't horrible, but it was super greasy. We also ordered many types of Tacos (Birria, Carne, Chicken, and Al Pastor), Fries and a Surf N Turf Vampiro. We ended up throwing most of it out because it gave us a stomach ache. I would not recommend. $49 down the drain! read more

First time trying this place - I hadn't heard of it before but saw two of my favorite things combined in one dish and knew I had to check it out!! I went with the birria ramen and it.did.not.disappoint. I have told everyone I know to try this dish - it seems so simple but the flavors, oh my god! Seriously. With fresh limes and hot sauce, dripping with that spicy, salty deliciousness?! Of course I didn't get a picture - I was too busy slurping up every last drop!
