Loved our stay in this intimate, charming, immaculate creekside cabin. Jackson Hole felt like an overrun, road-tripper tourist trap until the peaceful calm of this perfectly located haven . Really pretty and just barely outside of town.

The best trout dinner I've ever had. Ever! Very large portion. And the glaze on that fish--I wanted to lick the plate!

The best chicken I've EVER had. We came here for our anniversary this year, and we were not disappointed... at all. We looked at the prices, and though steep, well worth it. I've never had such a good dinner. I don't know what they put in the reduction, but it was incredible. I've posted some pictures, as they don't really have pictures of the food.

LOVED this place. Would recommend to anyone. We traveled with our 12 year old and he loved it. We can't wait to go back again. The room was large, the beds were great, loved the decor. Used the laundry facilities on location as well as the restaurant.

We came in for an appetizer and drink because we'd had a late lunch and were going to skip dinner…read more We just missed the happy hour (4-6pm). This place is attached to the Virginian Lodge complex which is a pretty cool place to stay overall. There's a little gift shop, a burger joint, the saloon, a pool, hot tub, all sorts of little amenities. So this saloon is one part of this whole lodge experience. Immediately, we liked the laid back ambiance with lots of sofas and comfie chairs to hang out with a small group of people. We sat at the bar. For us, the vibe and casual, kickback ambiance was a five star for what we were looking for (which was that). We ordered two appetizers which were maybe about average: the hatch pepper queso was not as good as the Pace queso from the jar that we had just had a week prior. The chicken tenders were typical bar tenders, nothing special. Basic fries. So the food was struggling to score a three star. The thing about the service was that it could have been much better but because of the early hour we seemed to be sort of the warm up customers. One bartender was in training so while he greeted us he was promptly dismissed by the main bartender who alternated between being the best and the worst bartender you might have. When you're two of three people at the bar and there's only five people in the whole place you might expect to get more conversation from the barkeep since we were out of towners and looking forward to hearing about the local scene. Nope. I guess you could say it was mainly our high expectation of having a friendly bartender but ended up feeling sort of like a bar seat. This was at a very low ebb in the season as well as the day so I can't imagine that the experience would improve with more people. As with all things, it's all about expectation. If you don't expect a great bartender, and don't expect great food you might come away pleased with the venue. But no dark on tap so don't expect that either.

Great bartenders and great food at Billy's. Really nice outdoor seating too. One of the only places in town that is staying true to its casual atmosphere while other places in town turning into fake "elevated" experiences and charging more just because they can. Thank you Virg! Can always count on you for a good time :)

Our server was polite, but we didn't get checked on very often, which made it difficult to ask for anything once our food arrived. Unfortunately, the food was a huge disappointment. Everything we ordered was under-seasoned, and the portions were much smaller than we expected for the price. I ordered the mahi fish tacos, and they were honestly the worst fish tacos I've ever had. The fish tasted very fishy instead of fresh, and it looked like it had been boiled rather than grilled. There was no char or seasoning to speak of, and the overall flavor was really lacking. If you're considering the fish tacos, I'd skip them. Overall, it's a nice place to grab a beer and enjoy the atmosphere, but the food just didn't live up to the rest of the experience. Hopefully this was just an off night.

I had the cheesesteak sandwich yesterday, which was lean and good, though maybe a little heavy handed on the pepper. Their steak sandwich is really incredible and probably the best thing we tasted. The bison burger was also very flavorful. Great fries. It's above average when compare to other brew pub eateries.

A thoroughly enjoyable evening and dinner…read more Possibly the best ribeye I've had in the past 10 years, but the other "foam and powder"aspects of the dish were just silly. The so called General Tso steak sauce was like a thimbleful smear and completely irrelevant. BBQ Ramen seasoning? Not even enough to get a taste profile of it. The trout with a green curry sauce was good but again, ummmm.... Trout has a subtle flavor. Green curry coconut sauce, and stuffed with another type of Asian something something....might as just as well better to use a neutral tasting fish like a better quality tilapia imho. Let trout taste like trout. Use a different, neutral tasting fish for these kinds of sauces and fillings. Well at least it wasn't covered with a garnish of micro greens lol. Just a little cilantro heh heh heh. I mean don't get me wrong. Both entrees were okay. But a waste of quality fish when a less costly fish would have been fine what with all those other flavors. And the foam and powder embellishments on the steak were barely noticeable. The whole menu reads like a community college cooking school graduate little bit of this little bit of that. When I get home I'm going to have fun writing the different components of all the menu items on index cards, shuffle, and see what combinations come up each time. And I love the idea of a General Tso steak sauce and want to try creating one. And using a packet of Ramen seasoning instead of Cajun seasoning sounds like a fun thing to try. I just won't do it on a fifty dollar piece of meat. If you are counting calories you skip the gross doughnut hole dessert. Dense ball of dough. Gummy. Like they used a cake doughnut recipe instead of a yeast doughnut or beignet recipe. But if not counting calories , go for it. It's fun to try the sauces, even if not that great a doughnut. Great, festive, lively ambiance . Super friendly staff and service.

Unfortunately, the bar was painfully slow. Our first round of drinks took about 15 minutes, and the second took closer to 30 minutes after ordering. We eventually had to check in to make sure they were even coming. The food was fine, but not something we'd come back for. The elk pasta lacked the depth and richness you expect from a bolognese. The trout--poblano stuffed and curry-prepared--was an interesting idea, but the curry completely overpowered the fish, making the dish feel unbalanced. We had curry-dusted trout at The Blue Lion earlier in the week that was far better. (One of the best trout meals I've ever had.)

A unique setting in a wine / liquor store with a tapas bar in the back, amongst the wine racks and liquor bottles. Long communal tables and sitting hip to hip with foodies, locals, and people meeting total strangers. It is good conversation with everyone sharing stories, not once was politics mentioned. Reservations are not taken, instead you will find the host making people scoot to make room for new arrivals at the long tables. Our servers were spot-on with service, drinks and sharing her favorites. It is cozy and casual, people meeting people. The spirits here are for the pros with knowledge of wine, beer, spirits and bubbles. We started with the wild mushroom mozzarella with balsalmic butter, parmesan and balsalmic glaze served on crunchy baguettes. It was unbelievably flavored and tasty, a great start to the night and must have! The Spanish salad with arugula, apple, fennel, almonds, manchego and a honey-sherry vinegarette was good but not on par with the other dishes. The tuna crudo with cucumber, arugula, crunchy grains, orange wedges, citrous vinegarette, fried capers and preserved lemon was light, a real palate cleanser, and refreshing. A pleasant surprise and would order again. The lamb pintxos was our final selection and a great dish to end the night on. The fork tender lamb tenderloin was served on 2 skewers with mojo verde, Spanish aoili, and pickled red onions on crisp baguette slices. Another Homerun! The menu changes frequently and the tapas allow you to try several different delectable dishes. It encourages sharing and forces you to open up and try different dishes. Hands-down my favorite food and conversation while visiting Jackson, WY. To the staff here at Binn 22, congrats on a unique and completely fabulous dinner and concept. I can't wait to return and try many other options on a truly innovative menu. If you haven't been here, only one word, WHY?

Very disappointed with our first--and last--experience at this steakhouse…read more We had reservations for a party of six at 7:45 p.m. and were seated upstairs, where it was both uncomfortably warm. We mentioned this to the young hostess, who replied that she "had no control over that." We asked if she could at least inform a manager. Our waitress took our drink order in an impatient, distracted manner. She was looking around the room as I was speaking to her. When I began placing my order and requested my steak cooked medium, she rudely interrupted me by saying, "Just a minute," and walked away to speak to another server at the table next to us. She eventually returned to finish taking our orders. Our Caesar salads were good, although they were served warm instead of chilled. My 10-ounce sirloin, ordered medium, was decent but unremarkable. Unfortunately, my husband's and son-in-law's steaks, both also ordered medium, arrived extremely rare and were so undercooked they were difficult to cut. Their baked potatoes were hard and undercooked. My daughter and grandchildren ordered the ravioli, green beans, mushrooms, and macaroni and cheese, which were all bland and best described as merely adequate. My iced tea was never refilled, and our waitress was nowhere to be found throughout most of the meal. The room was so hot and noisy that my daughter and grandchildren eventually left the table because it was a very unpleasant atmosphere. As we were leaving, I stopped at the hostess stand and asked an older woman if she was the manager. She abruptly replied, "One of them." I quietly began explaining our experience so as not to create a scene. Instead of listening, she fixed me with a hostile stare and interrupted me by asking, "Did you tell your waitress about these issues so she could tell me?" I explained that our waitress never returned--not even to refill my tea--so we never had the opportunity to discuss our concerns with her. It was clear from the manager's attitude that the conversation wasn't going to be productive, so I simply told her my husband was still at the table and wanted to speak with her. Ironically, my daughter predicted the manager would treat the men in our party with more courtesy--and she was right. She listened to their concerns and removed one steak and a iced tea from the bill. Between the mediocre food, inattentive service, and unprofessional management, this was an extremely disappointing dining experience. We will not be returning, and I cannot recommend this restaurant
