Service was non existent- every person here seemed like they could not be more miserable. Ordered iced mocha- so acidic I could not finish and gave me heart burn. Ham and cheese croissant was basically- gummy in the inside. Asking for it to be heated seems like the the most arduous task I could have asked for.

Decent spot in the area for coffee and a pastry. A popular spot during the weekday mornings. A lot of customers with their dogs outside or babies in strollers. Plenty of tables inside for a quick breakfast.

While staying in Tiburon for The Weekend my husband and I walked here from our hotel to have coffee and scones. I have been buying their crackers for years and I was really interested to check this bakery out. They have a few locations selling food, drinks, bread, sweets and of course their crackers. This is not the place that they make and package their crackers lol ... lots of indoor and outdoor seating here serving delicious scones and food as well. The service was ok ...

This review is for the Rustic Bakery brownie! I LOVE Rustic Bakery boxed crackers and cookies, which I buy locally in Healdsburg at Shelton's and Big Johns (and wherever else I can find them...hot tip: look for the seasonal pumpkin cookies in/around October!). So I was pumped to discover Rustic Bakery in a small shopping center on a recent visit to Tiburon. It's a light and bright cafe with some indoor seating and some seating in their back patio/courtyard. I visited near the end of their day so didn't expect a full array of fresh items. I don't often have a sweet tooth, but when I do...I love me some chocolate. I was delighted to find a delicious-looking brownie. Let me tell you: it was awesome! Dense, moist, rich, chocolate chips for texture...delicious! And that's not always the case with brownies. I also enjoyed a classic black iced tea. Standard in flavor and refreshing on a hot day. I'll definitely seek out another brownie when I'm near Rustic Bakery again. They do offer a food menu and I hope to try that too.

Mocha and Carrot Cake with Walnuts and Cream Cheese Frosting Slice and lemon poppyseed cake

Place is very cute and aesthetic but the coffee is lacking taste. Ordered a cold brew and added cream to my liking but it was overall bland. My partner order a mocha with whipped cream but when it was brought to us, they told us they were out of whipped cream. The lemon poppyseed cake flavor was great but the icing was hard and gritty. The carrot cake was moist and soft.

Rustic Bakery is a steady, stalwart of the Marin bakery & cafe scene, and this location in Tiburon rings all the bells and whistles for fans who know what they'll get here. Favorite breakfast orders include pastries, strong coffee and steel cut oats, to which you can add fresh berries. (Their oatmeal is rich, so I wasn't completely surprised to learn it's made with cream.) Rustic Bakery shines at lunch, with their supersized salad options. Personal favorites include the quinoa & veggie salad with miso dressing or asian chicken salad with peanut dressing. Rustic is traditional in the sandwich department, with egg and tuna salad in the mix, elevated by their fresh baked bread. Their Marin Melt is a stand out. They also have daily soup options. Packaged sea salt crackers or shortbread cookies (maple shortbread in Fall) make good gifts for friends. Ignore the low-ish ratings, Rustic is as solid as it gets.

Got the pastry from the farmers market and it's delicious! Good variety of selection.

Love the food. Quiche and oatmeal are sooo delicious! Sadly, the service has tanked. Slow and chaotic. Coffee not great.

There are two grocery stores on the NW & SW corners of this stoplight. DELANO'S IGA is the cheaper one. It has less upscale merchandise, but more staple items. FRIENDLY HELPFUL STAFF. I go here to save time when I really need stuff quickly and don't want to drive all the way out to 101 and shop at the BIG SAFEWAY store. Sometimes it has been a lifesaver. Milk, eggs, butter, bread. It is still more expensive that most places in the continental USA, but cheap for Tiburon. I just keep telling myself . . . suck it up . . . . you chose this place to live . . .accept the downside . . . less money in the bank account . . . tradeoff for fantastic views and living in paradise. It's a lot thicker and creamier than the Strauss soft serve. I was impressed. I'm glad that they now serve the Jersey cow soft serve because the Buffalo one was pretty boring and too sweet. They no longer serve the Buffalo soft serve because the company was bought out and now they use the Buffalo milk for other items like cheese and no longer sell it for soft serve. Love this little market and if I move to Sausalito, I would be coming here quite often. And not just for the soft serve. They have a lot of very interesting items here. The items are all marked up a bit but otherwise good quality items and the food looks good. I've enjoyed their hot lunch here. All the prepare Foods look good too. I normally go across the street to Joinery for lunch then stroll down here for a soft serve.

Your herbal soda was likely $6. So you likely were inadvertently overcharged (it happens with some of the older ladies who do check out), and you should have brought it up right then. Who doesn't pay attention to what you're being charged? In any event, those tomatoes aren't 2# each. You should rethink your unfair review and take responsibility for your inattentiveness first." What a busy body. Anyway, no, i didn't know what i was charged until i left the store. As anyone can probably attest to, pretty often these days when being rung up, the checker doesn't say the total anymore - they just scan your items and tell you to tap. So no, i didn't know what i was being charged at the time but this doesn't make the egregious pricing my fault, but nice try "Christopher B."

It's located right off the freeway (next to Mike's Bikes and the Sausalito house boats), and there's plenty of free parking out in front. Unfortunately, when ever I go there now, there are always shady characters hanging outside the store. I see broken glass and drug busts in the parking lot. Cop cars are always patrolling the area. To be perfectly blunt, I just don't feel safe here anymore. It's only a matter of time before I get jumped or my car broken into. The deli (aka Davey Jones Deli) still does a solid business and attracts local sandwich lovers. However, the rest of the store leaves me feeling claustrophobic (there's just too much stuff stuffed into one tiny space). Also, on my most recent visits, the guy at the register has been quite the opposite of friendly. No "hello" or "thank you for your business." His attitude has been more akin to "give me your money; here's your booze in a paper bag; and don't let the door hit you on your way out." I'm hoping that this place can clean up its act. Until then, I guess I'll have to buy my booze and sandwiches at Safeway.
