We were seated quickly and they accommodate our group of 10 easily, we placed our order in the food, came out, reasonably quickly. The main course started with a salad, and we ordered both garlic and buttered nan. Our main courses included mahkani chicken, vindaloo, fish, chicken biryani, spinach paneer, momo dumplings, and several orders of King of Texas platter. The flavors were wonderful, and when we ordered a few of us, ask them to dial up the spice, but be careful. The service was very good and attentive, and the restaurant was relatively quiet from noise. Some restaurants are just super noisy, and TAJ is not. I still went back because I wanted to try the goat biryani since it use to be one of my favorites I thought the goat biryani would not be good because of how the chicken biryani was but let me tell you I was wrong. I've also tried their shrimp biryani and it's a better option than chicken. They do have pretty good traditional sweets. I always grab a few gulab jamun when I'm there.
