Did not like the papadam, was kind of stale and salty. Desserts were also alright but skippable if you wanted to. The restaurant is pretty big and spacious, well decorated and the price for the buffet was affordable I believe $20 max (it's been a while but I remember roughly). It's really easy to eat your worth because an entree plus appetizer is essentially the same cost as the buffet. Totally worth checking out for lunch 11-3PM on Fri-Sun.

Its pre- made and available in the fridge, along with sodas. Then came Paruppu vadai - while it was hot, I could smell that it was reused oil ... Malli gobi - do not understand the name connection unless malli means corriander in some Indian language. This was uniq, crispy, spicy and nice. Good job. Mini idli. Was skeptical as I had only eaten this in Saravana Bhavan , but, it was really nice. Am glad I tried it. ( The plate was v different too ... ). Benne dosa came last.... piping hot, crunchy, yummy... I would have liked more benne ( butter), nevertheless, it was great. Am most definitely coming back. ( ok weird- after updating the review I earned recognition for Chinese Food!! ( what!!..))

Very clean place, little on the warmer side. They had one person work in the front which is all they needed for the amount of people that were in. At the moment. We didn't have to wait for anything, she was very attentive and efficient. The food was fantastic. We got both the blButter Chicken, and the Goat Chettinad at medium spicy. Both had very good and very different flavors. I will say that medium spicy really wasn't spicy at all, just flavorful. If you want something hot, go with something higher than medium. Everything came out quick and fresh, it was fantastic. We paired it with garlic naan and got two orders of that just so we didn't leave anything left in the bowls. We had actually started with a vegetable samosa which came out really tasty and had a nice spice to it. Very efficient, excellent service, and a clean facility. Definitely a place I would check out again.

My kids 5&7 also enjoyed the kids menu and licked their plates clean up...a rare occurrence. Any place that has momos gets on my list to come back, especially if they are great like they were here! I'll be coming back in no time.

The biryani packed a good amount of spice, which I personally loved. The chicken tikka masala was decent but pretty standard. The paneer dish, though, was definitely unusual and had a flavor that felt a bit off on its own, but it worked better when paired with rice. Prices were a bit on the higher side, especially for a more casual, hole in the wall kind of place. Our waitress said we should try more unique dishes next time. Overall, it's a good restaurant with an interesting, fusion menu. I'd come back to try other dishes and see what else stands out.

I inquired if they were going to have a full barn with a bartender and was told that they plan to start slow by just selling certain alcoholic beverages initially then overtime increase the number of items that are offered. I made my order to go so I could take pictures of my food before I forgot to take pictures. It seems that currently most of their business is takeout. Takeout business is brisk. I've seen three or four while waiting for my food to be prepared. In my opinion the Saag Chicken is prepared in the Southern style, in spite of what the manager said. My food is piping, hot and delicious. The server brought me a plate and silverware when he saw me opening my dishes. He returned with a glass or water also, I love this attention to detail it can make an average experience memorable. This restaurant is located in a large shopping center and has been around a couple of years. Parking is plentiful. The restaurant inside is small and looks like alot of their business is take out. I called ahead and ordering was easy. The food was ready at the agreed upon time. I ordered an order of Butter Chicken and Garlic Naan. I got home and found the food to be still hot. The curry came in a pint size container and looked promising. Upon opening it, I noticed it was mostly just curry and barely any pieces of chicken. I thought it would be a good size for two people but looks like it's meant for one. The curry itself was good but the chicken inside was a little on the dry side. The naan was huge but a little too doughy for my liking. The garlic flavor was lacking as well. Overall, the food was ok. This first impression of this place was not the best. I just might give them another chance one day.

They have a single table in table you want to sit, but I did see ppl take carry outs more often. A good initiative. A good and economically priced stop for Indian street food. There was no crowd as it was a cold weekday and ppl seemed to prefer to-go, which worked good for us.

I'm not sure if she still works here, but the place honestly felt different without her welcoming smile and warm reception. We arrived just in time for breakfast (last Saturday) I ordered Bangsilog, while my cousin had the Tocilog. Service was fast as usual. I really enjoyed my Bangsilog--the bangus tasted fresh, perfectly fried, crispy on the outside while still tender and juicy inside. Unfortunately, my cousin's tocino was disappointing. The tocino was tough and tasted like it may have been leftover from previous day and simply reheated. Either that or it has been sitting in the kitchen for quite awhile. We still finished our meals. Because we were starving, but it definitely affected the experience. It also made us miss Hazel's customer service even more because if she had been there, we're pretty sure she would've handled the situation right away. I waited a while before writing this review because I wanted to be as fair as possible. The lady who served us was still very good, although it was obvious that the overall customer service experience was not quite at the same level as when Hazel was around. The biggest issue was really the tocino. Because of that, this latest visit to TJ's wasn't perfect and honestly made us wonder if it's still worth making this one our go-to spot whenever we're in the Houston area.

The food was old and not fresh with much of the soups overly salty due to cooking under the heater from what I assumed was since lunch time. Most of the other dishes was not fresh and with most of the fried items not retaining any crisp. I can only assume this was the remaining lunch batch being kept and served for dinner. The service was friendly and the restaurant was clean. However, the issue of food quality was upsetting, especially at $20, which while not much in today's economy, can get you a made to order and filling meal at other restaurants. Hoping this review is taken constructively and improvements are made.
