    Samosas and hot chai
    Diana A.

Great food, and wonderful service. We ordered: Chai tea Vegetable Samosas Lamb Biryani Goat Saag Garlic. Naan At medium level, the entrees are very favorable. You can share your plates with each other. Plenty of parking available and spacious seating. It is nice place for large groups. We cannot wait to return and also try their dessert.

Killen's never disappoints…read more Their beef ribs were just short of amazing. Juicy, succulent, tender. For a giant piece of meat on the bone, they worked wonders. You can ask to see the piece of rib before they cut it for you and they will happily oblige (patrons behind you might not be so thrilled with that move, but they'll live). Sides were excellent as were the mashed potatoes with white gravy on the side, green beans that were just tender enough, but also a bit crunchy. Perfect. They were seasoned with pork, so if that's not your thing, you might want to skip it. We also ordered their shareable onion rings, easily enough for three people that were huge, hot, and crispy. Let's get this out of the way, some of their prices are a little up there, but if you're anything like me, and don't frequent BBQ places often, it's a rare but enjoyable treat. Sometimes you have to splurge and live a little. Also, they have their regular sauce on tables, but you now have to ask the cashier for their sublime coffee BBQ sauce. Don't be shy, ask. It's worth it. Oh, pro tip: If you want beef ribs, the 'plate' is actually cheaper and a better deal than 'by the pound', so save a little money and get two sides.

The restaurant is cute and they do their best to keep the service consistent throughout the entire visit. The BBQ was a little dry but good. The disappointing part of the trip were the sides. 95% of the sides had pork in them which made the entire wait not worth it. This was my first time visiting and it will be my last.

They definitely loaded it with sauces, the philly meat, cheese and topped it off with veggies - like the menu describes. Because of this, it would've been great if the fries were more crispy because it just aided in them becoming super soggy, super quick. I personally would not get this entree again. The wings were definitely fresh and well fried. I ended up getting the sauce on the side because the description of the sauces from the staff member at the register confused me a bit lol. I would get the wings again but next time get them sauced instead of having the sauce separated. More sauce options would've been nice too. The total cost for the loaded fry and the 6 piece wing came out to about $30 which I feel was a bit pricey. The seated patio area, however, was cool and allowed me to get some fresh air while I ate. I would go back to try one of the burgers, since it's literally a burger spot. Hoping that could shift my perspective and raise my rating of the place.

Thank god we found this!…read more After finishing our lunch at Wrap & Roll, we saw this out of the corner of the eye and decided to stop here as the girlfriend was looking for some caribbean snacks. Being from St Croix island in the Virgin Islands, seeing the menu and taking in the smells of this place gave her memories of back home. Of course I was happy to indulge her request as it gave me an opportunity to try some handheld eats. First the beef pattie, pretty big and so savory with the meat melting in your mouth and the dough having a nice texture and crust. And then the saheena; OMG! It was my first time having this lovely pastry which is made of chickpeas, spinach, and caribbean spices. You'll be hooked on this after one bite. Texture was similar to a savory piece of cornbread. Of course I was very happy with this item. The girlfriend ordered a currant roll which had some sweetness to it with a flaky crust. I enjoyed it but not as much as I was scarfing down my beef pattie and saheena. They also serve traditional caribbean eats including jerk chicken, oxtails, bake & saltfish, and roti wraps. We noticed a lot of people place to go orders here and call ahead for pick up. There were several bags of eats waiting as we witnessed people roll in and pick them up while having small talk with the owners. All those items looked delicious and we plan to come back and try those out. We also talked to the owners for a bit, they're a husband/wife team who've owned/operated this place for a while. Super polite and gracious, they helped me navigate the menu and explained what the items would be like when I ordered. Sadly I could not get the Aloo Pie (sold out) but they assured me it's worth having and to come back and try it (which we will). Pearland is lucky to have this place here. Definitely recommend trying it out for yourself!

I asked if they served any alcohol, alcoholic beverages, and was informed that they have plans to start selling alcohol within the next 3 to 4 months. I inquired if they were going to have a full barn with a bartender and was told that they plan to start slow by just selling certain alcoholic beverages initially then overtime increase the number of items that are offered. I made my order to go so I could take pictures of my food before I forgot to take pictures. It seems that currently most of their business is takeout. Takeout business is brisk. I've seen three or four while waiting for my food to be prepared. In my opinion the Saag Chicken is prepared in the Southern style, in spite of what the manager said. My food is piping, hot and delicious. The server brought me a plate and silverware when he saw me opening my dishes. He returned with a glass or water also, I love this attention to detail it can make an average experience memorable. The interior could be more inviting with different furniture, making it more appealing. GN3

They were really generous with the toppings, but everything still felt balanced and it wasn't overly saucy or overpowering. The pizza came out crispy without being overly charred, which I really liked. The dough was probably what stood out to me the most. It's different from other pizza places I've tried--soft on the inside, slightly sweet, but still crispy on the outside. Overall, definitely one of the top pizzas on my list so far. Our server was really friendly and took the time to explain the menu, including the option to create your own pizza. The place was also really clean with no weird greasy smell you sometimes get at pizza places. They even had an A rating for restaurant cleanliness posted in the front, which was nice to see.

For starters, we got the Burrata Dip, which is a large mozzarella ball atop a bed of arugula and drizzled with pesto and honey. The cheese was very fresh and it was so good with the toasted bread the gave us. We loved it. We also shared a large greek salad which was plenty enough for two and came with lots of great toppings like sliced cucumber, artichokes, olives, and more. They have many pizza choices here with a large variety of toppings. You can get all meat, all veggies, and various combinations in between that include chicken or prosciutto. They also offer square pizzas if that's your thing. We opted for the Mulberry Supreme which included sausage, pepperoni, Canadian bacon, and beef on a medium-thin type crust that had the perfect amount of char and minimal flop. The toppings were piled on and everything was fantastic. We got a large and took a third of it back to our hotel room. Our servers were very attentive and checked on us frequently plus kept our drinks full. The food also came out quickly. My only complaint here is the inside was very stuffy and humid. It was in the upper 80's outside and it was slightly uncomfortable in there.

Drinks: my gf had an old fashioned, my friend and I got the petal punch and a fourth friend got a European beer I think and we all enjoyed our drinks. The momos was yummy and came with a great sauce. The tandoori chicken drumsticks with the sauce, YUM. I knew it was going to be great. The veggie samosas were also wonderful. The mint chutney is my preference over the tamarind, but both were good. Chicken mungfali- 10/10 but wish it were a little spicier. Chicken korma- spicier than I thought but delicious 10/10. The Nutella samosas were the only thing that was disappointing. They were way crunchier than we expected. The picture of them made it look softer and flakier than it was.
