Mushroom Swiss
Rachele R.

We decided to leave the loop on the weekend...something we dont do often, but there's a board game store my husband enjoys..anyway, I digress. OMG had been recommended by some of his coworkers and he's always on the hunt for a good burger. I checked Yelp to see of it was a dog-friendly establishment, but there was no info if so. My hisband jumped out to ask and the cashier allowed us to take him in (he's only ablut 9lbs). That is always a bonus. My husband got a classic cheeseburger and I got the mushroom Swiss burger. The burgers filled the void and satisfied the burger craving. It wasn't special or spectacular, but it wasnt a bad burger, and they are not terribly priced ($29 for 2 burgers, and order of fries and 2 drinks). The restaurant was clean. The esthetics were a little mish-moshed (not matching tables & chairs, and some decor was held together with copies amounts of hot glue). But the food wasnt bad. We don't live in Pearland so I can't say that we wouldn't return. But if you're in the area, it's worth a shot.

Nash Me Up Chicken Sandwich

Went to lunch with some co-workers. The restaurant was half full, but plenty of seating, both indoors and outdoors. The Pearland Restaurant Week menu was $20 for a larger burger and bigger portion of fries, compared to the $13 for their lunch meal option. I wasn't feeling like a burger so I opted for their Nash Me Up Chicken sandwich, mild. I removed the pickles. Overall, great sandwich, just a touch spicier than expected for mild. The sauce wasn't particularly memorable unfortunately but there wasn't an excess of slaw. The fries were perfectly crispy and absolutely delicious. The portion sizes feel a little small for $13 (but it may just be inflation) but it was a good size overall, enough to feel stuffed but not have leftovers. General consensus was that it was delicious food, but not anything particularly memorable or that made it stand out amongst its competitors. Overall, solid burger place though and will need to try some of their other options next time!

Cool interior. The fries were nice and crisp and the sauce was good. I wish it had another element like pickled onions and the chicken was hotter.

This burger spot that opened less than a year ago in Pearland has been on my list to try since it opened. Last night we finally got to stop in. The menu has a lot of options from burgers, tacos, sandwiches, hot dogs etc. I needed to use the restroom so I told the cashier at the counter that I wanted a "Philly burger" and my husband finished the ordering. The cashier misunderstood my order and placed it for a Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich. My husband thought it was the right order and I did not notice until we got home that the food I received was not what I had wanted. The Philly could have used more meat and more cheese. I felt there was more bread than the filling. The value was not worth the money especially because everything is a La carte and you pay $5 extra to make it a combo with fries and a drink (plus another $1 extra to make it curly fries instead of regular fries). It would be a 4 star sandwich with more meat and cheese.

Ordered to go Nash Me Up Tacos very good Chopped Cheese waste of money Place is nice & clean, and friendly though I thought. They got my order wrong on spice level, asked twice for spicy and ended up with medium. Not completely a big deal, but then add that the unappetizing chopped cheese that looks nothing like what they represented on the menu or website. When I called back and it was like an oh well attitude, no apology no nothing, wasn't looking for a refund, but at least an apology. I would still like to try other things, they do have a vast menu of veggie/beef/chicken burgers/wraps/sandwiches/Phillys...next time I hope they hear my order properly and it gets prepared somewhat close to how they advertise.

OMG Burger w/fries.

OMG Burger $.7.99 w/fries and drink +$3.49 plus tax and I was shocked after $12.43 for this flat meat combo. I've been wanting to try this place only to end up with a $7.99 smashed patty. Oh well that was my last OMG experience. This was more like a kids meal at Wendy's. If there is a difference of ordering an OMG burger from the lunch menu for $7.99 than the regular menu then say it's a lunch size portion. I was in disbelief. Drop the price or add more meat to the sandwich by making it a double at least since it's so thin.

Cute decor

Came here during lunch with my bestie and there was a lunch menu so the prices were affordable! We got a Nash it up hot chicken sandwhich to split and it was AMAZING! I could've eaten the whole thing! Then we each got the 2M2H Habanero burger, which was a lot spicier than I was expecting but also delicious! Everything tasted fresh including the sweet potato and curly fries! I wish I would've gotten a milk shake! The decor in this place was really nice and updated and for being lunch time on a Tuesday there weren't a lot of people there so our food came out really fast! Would definitely recommend !

Saw this place opened a little while ago so stopped in here recently for the first time one afternoon after my visit to La Vie nail spa a couple of doors down. It's a small place with very limited seating. You order at the counter and they call your number when your order is ready. We ordered for take out. It is a very extensive menu of chicken, beef and hot dogs (it is attached). I ordered off the regular menu before I realized there is a lunch menu. My husband and I shared the "Oh My Philly" You can choose either chicken or beef. We chose chicken and requested no mayo. It also includes sautéed mushrooms, bell peppers and onions; provolone cheese; and your choice of sauce. I chose barbecue sauce. We also tried the chili cheese fries. Pictures for our meals are attached. I liked both dishes. It's a great place if you're in the area and want a "cheat day". They do have a couple of salads though. I do want to come back and try the burgers

If we ever return here it would be for the Tornado burger ONLY. *Order Type: to go on a Saturday evening. *Food: - 15 piece wing with habanero sauce: 3/10. The wings were lack luster and needed salt. The habanero sauce was weak. Definitely not spicy enough to be habanero. - Tornado burger: 8.5/10 this burger was the highlight of our experience. The meat tasted like good quality- clean, fresh and wholesome. The bacon was ample. Toppings were good. The OMG sauce was alright a tad bit sweet. - Sissy Jalapeño Burger with bun on the side- 4/10. Nothing impressive about the burger. -2M2H chicken sandwich- 7/10. The chicken was a nice size, fried well. The toppings were good too. -Curly fries- 0/10. Now keep in mind that we did do a to-go order so this rating does not factor temperature in. They were bitter-like old oil was used to fry them. There were maybe 3 curls and a bunch of straights. Not pillowy in the center etc. * Service: 10/10. The guy who took my order over the phone was very amiable and it was a smooth process. * Ambiance: 8/10. The place is like a pub setting. For Saturday at 5pm there were no one in the establishment. In fact, we were the only online order they had since 2pm!!!! * Value for money: 0/10. The portion sizes were miniscule. For 15 wings we paid almost $30. Compared to establishments within their competitors the value for money is T-E-R-R-I-B-L-E. Burgers are at almost $20 with no sides. *Likelihood of returning: 40% but it would be for the Tornado burger ONLY.

This does not look nothing like the pictures of the omg cheeseburger smh. Secondly it has no flavor! Save your time and hard earned money!

No flavor to this tiny burger . I'm so dissatisfied and I waited so long for this. I can't believe the quality these days

My partner had the brisket sandwich with potato salad and a small helping of pickles and pickled red onions and I had the pulled pork tacos. My partner said the brisket sandwich was okay, but we both agreed that the potato salad was fantastic! The potato salad was way better than the one at Pappas Barbecue. The taste of the pulled pork tacos was great, but it was honestly too wet and made the flour tortillas too soggy and there was way too much coleslaw on top. I feel like if Killen's is going to serve pulled pork tacos there needs to be three things done. 1. Serve the tacos with an option of corn tortillas because I feel corn tortillas would've worked better to give a great contrast/pairing with the sweetness of the pulled pork and sauce. 2. Serve the corn/flour tortillas on the side so that they don't get soggy and wet. 3. There are some things that just don't belong on a taco of any kind and that's coleslaw. My partner and I also tasted the banana pudding and to say it was divine is an understatement. What I really like about this pudding was that you could taste real bananas in this pudding and it had been mixed well all together. Our total was $80 after tipping, which is a little pricey for some of the items, but honestly I would definitely come back to Killen's Barbecue when I was in the mood for barbecue.

Thank god we found this!…read more After finishing our lunch at Wrap & Roll, we saw this out of the corner of the eye and decided to stop here as the girlfriend was looking for some caribbean snacks. Being from St Croix island in the Virgin Islands, seeing the menu and taking in the smells of this place gave her memories of back home. Of course I was happy to indulge her request as it gave me an opportunity to try some handheld eats. First the beef pattie, pretty big and so savory with the meat melting in your mouth and the dough having a nice texture and crust. And then the saheena; OMG! It was my first time having this lovely pastry which is made of chickpeas, spinach, and caribbean spices. You'll be hooked on this after one bite. Texture was similar to a savory piece of cornbread. Of course I was very happy with this item. The girlfriend ordered a currant roll which had some sweetness to it with a flaky crust. I enjoyed it but not as much as I was scarfing down my beef pattie and saheena. They also serve traditional caribbean eats including jerk chicken, oxtails, bake & saltfish, and roti wraps. We noticed a lot of people place to go orders here and call ahead for pick up. There were several bags of eats waiting as we witnessed people roll in and pick them up while having small talk with the owners. All those items looked delicious and we plan to come back and try those out. We also talked to the owners for a bit, they're a husband/wife team who've owned/operated this place for a while. Super polite and gracious, they helped me navigate the menu and explained what the items would be like when I ordered. Sadly I could not get the Aloo Pie (sold out) but they assured me it's worth having and to come back and try it (which we will). Pearland is lucky to have this place here. Definitely recommend trying it out for yourself!

I inquired if they were going to have a full barn with a bartender and was told that they plan to start slow by just selling certain alcoholic beverages initially then overtime increase the number of items that are offered. I made my order to go so I could take pictures of my food before I forgot to take pictures. It seems that currently most of their business is takeout. Takeout business is brisk. I've seen three or four while waiting for my food to be prepared. In my opinion the Saag Chicken is prepared in the Southern style, in spite of what the manager said. My food is piping, hot and delicious. The server brought me a plate and silverware when he saw me opening my dishes.
