Family meal for two: chicken vindaloo, butter paneer, garlic naan, vegetable samosas
Rox And Mike K.

Rox: we ordered this over the phone for pickup and asked them to make both curries as spicy as possible. The flavor was really good, but you could've fed the spice level to a toddler without them flinching unfortunately. We had to load it up with chili oil, chili flakes, cayenne pepper, AND fresh jalapeño at home (thank god we had it on hand!). Garlic naan and samosas were really good though. Just needed more ~spice~ !!! Mike: I really have to just agree with Rox's comments above. Need way more spice. The garlic naan was the highlight and they were very friendly!

Butter Chicken With Rice and Naan

The food was amazing, made fresh to order. The butter chicken was excellent. The food takes a minute and it's without a doubt worth it knowing the effort behind it and the delicious result. The samosa chaat had a fresh made yogurt with a distinctive quality from other yogurts I've had. My meal had spice in a flavorful way that made each bite better compared to other restaurants where it can be too on the nose. The service was great with a very friendly owner who taught us some things about the food. Overall delicious and will return.

The restaurant is small and comfortable. The decor is beautiful and not overwhelming. The employees were spectacularly kind and attentive. All of the food from appetizer to mango ice cream was delicious. TADKA 96 is a gem in the community. My family will be back! Thank you.

Was craving Indian food so I decided to order uber eats from this restaurant for the first time since I had never seen it on the app before. I decided on the butter chicken. It comes with rice and one piece of naan. I also ordered veg samosas to go with it. The naan was the most delicious naan I've ever had. The butter chicken was good too but the pieces of chicken were a bit big for me. I like smaller pieces. Overall I would say the portion size was smaller than what I've had ordering from other Indian restaurants. Also, the samosas were good too but I did not enjoy them as much as I normally would because when I opened my bag I saw that the tamarind sauce had spilled everywhere inside of the bag and onto the container that the samosas were in. It kinda sucked eating my samosas without the sauce. I can't blame the restaurant 100% because I'm mot sure if it spilled due to the way it was transported by the driver or not but what I will say is that if it was packaged correctly to begin with, it probably wouldn't have spilled. I would still try this restaurant again one day though. I would like to try one of the vegetarian dishes.

Please don't sit on this place - tadka 96. Run as fast as you can and try the most authentic indian food I've had in the area. Super sweet, small family business. There are also a variety of other options if you don't like indian cuisine. Please do yourself a favor and plan a trip there!!

Chicken kadai w/ aloo added

How have I not been to TADKA 96 before today?! The food was AMAZING!!! We ordered the tadka fries, chicken kadai, loaded chicken fries, and sides of the garlic naan. I added aloo (potatoes) to the kadai. Every dish was bursting with flavor! The kadai was savory, bold, and spicy. I absolutely will be going back here. Also, they were so kind!!! I asked for recommendations for my next visit and they said to try the biryani (Saturday and Sunday only), butter chicken, and shrimp curry. Highly recommend!!!! Please support this gem of a restaurant!

Chicken Tikka Masala, Palak Paneer, Daal Tadka with Rice and Naan

Everything was flavorful and properly spicy! I got my chicken tikka medium spice level (mild, medium, hot) and it was a perfect amount of spicy for me as someone who enjoys their spice at a light to medium spice level. The Saag Paneer was perfectly spicy and creamy as well even though I got that one as a mild spice level. Looking forward to coming back!

A friend and I went on a week night to try dishes from their Indian menu. Even though I've lived in the area since the early 90s, I had never set foot in Lilly Seafood until I read that there was Indian food here. We were greeted by a nice young woman who explained the dishes on the Indian menu. At the time, the menu was written on an A-frame menu stand. We ordered samosas, the butter chicken, the tikka masala, a kind of paneer, and naan. The restaurant is quite small but clean, although you can definitely tell it is a fish fry type joint. There is a table with to-go boxes, paper hot dog trays, and plastic silverware (self-serve). You also have to buy bottles of water or soda, which I found most confounding. We were dining in, and we were expecting a dine-in experience. To add to the fish fry type environment, we were given plastic ware to eat our food. I don't think it will hurt them to provide water in cups... The food, though, is pretty great. The samosas are crispy and flavorful. The creamy butter chicken and sweet tikka masala are excellent. We preferred the butter chicken over the tikka. The naan is great. The paneer was probably the weak link here. All in all, we enjoyed the food a lot and will definitely add this to our rotation of eat out places. It's about time this side of town got a decent Indian restaurant. Very happy about that.

shrimp and okra gumbo. I ordered a side of fried oysters to add.

Food: 3.5/5 Service: 4.5/5…read moreAmbiance: 4/5 Overall: 3.8/5 A relatively nice place with not too much to point out negatively. Service was quick and the tables weren't dirty. Restroom had been temporarily closed down due to cleaning up a glass spill, so none of us could really wash our hands after finishing the burgers. As for the burgers themselves, they were all pretty good. The Korean BBQ Burger I got was admittedly a little half done, like they didn't want to lean too hard on the actual taste of the Korean BBQ but rather just the essence of it, but I think I liked it more because of that. The sides were all just okay, no particular standouts. My least favorite thing that my table got was the chopped cheese sandwich, which was THE saltiest and fattiest tasting thing I've had in a while. I definitely think that it is by far the worst thing on the menu, and it left me feeling very icky and gross following the meal, which is a shame because otherwise I think I would've enjoyed my experience a lot more. TL;DR just get the burgers, then you will enjoy yourself here.

I chose Durb's based on the great reviews and the fact that my brother had always wanted to visit. My wife and I both ordered smash burgers - she opted for tots, I went with mozzarella sticks. The sides were both perfectly standard, but the burgers were anything but. The difference between these smash burgers and most is that these were real thick boys. I was kind of shocked how much food this was. The sauce was great, but I was already full around the halfway point of the burger. I don't say this to complain, but my favorite smash burgers are usually lighter than a normal burger. This was anything but. We ate these at 1:30pm and I didn't need to eat again the rest of the day. I finished with a pistachio cake slice and enjoyed that probably more than the burger. Cool concept! I'd love to come back again, especially to try today's special, which was a Chicago dog burger. But for visit #1, I wanted to stick with what they are famous for.

We kept this first visit pretty simple wife got a cheeseburger, plain and dry as she always does with a side order of tater tots. I went with the old-fashioned cheeseburger all the way and added bacon, and my side order was the thin onion rings. Everything came out fantastic and fast. The tater tots were cooked exactly like I like super crispy. I rarely eat tater tots out because not every restaurant cooks them properly. The thin onion rings were fantastic. Had a very nice little flavor to the batter came out hot and crisp. What I like the most about the burgers were the buns. Almost a buttery texture to them and they did not fall apart like you get on some burgers. The wife got a strawberry shake to go, and it was insanely rich. It was a meal in itself. We will definitely be back again soon to go a little deeper into the menu. I hear that their chili dog is fantastic. That's what I'm gonna try next week. To date, I have never experienced an In-N-Out location deserving of less than 4 stars. This particular In-N-Out location, in Webster, Texas (southeast of Houston) was excellent. I recently visited this location while I was on a week-long business trip in the area. I ordered a double-double with onions, French fries, and a 7-up. The line inside this In-N-Out was fairly short, as was the line at the drive-thru. The place was only a little busy, which surprised me, even though it was a Monday night at 10pm. The inside and the outside of this restaurant was extremely clean, well decorated (according to the In-N-Out style), and well illuminated. One thing I always love to see, that they had here, was the iconic crisscross "X" with their palm trees - X marks the spot of the buried treasure! And of course, I always appreciate eating in a pleasant environment. The employees here were professional and efficient at preparing my meal. As always, my meal was very satisfying, and it was made with "quality you can taste." In my opinion, there is something good to be said about the consistency at In-N-Out, always providing an excellent fast food meal at a reasonable cost, with a focus on cleanliness of their business. This place has a well-earned 5 stars from me. I'll be back the next time I return to the area.

Very vibrant and unique, with a neat outdoor area and amazing TV placement for those who care about that. Even their to-go counter is well decorated and themed! I can't comment on the atmosphere since both times I've been it's been relatively quiet, but I'd imagine on a busy night this place could have a fun atmosphere. Joshua was our server and he did a good job, and our food came out relatively fast, so no issues with service. As for the food however, I can't be as positive. Last time I had the Mahi Mahi and thought it was fine enough. This time I decided to try one of their burgers. I'll be honest, I like my burgers pretty plain, which is its own can of worms. Point being, the bun tasted very odd and almost stale, and the patty was very mushy and lacked flavor. The signature sauce was also unappetizing, with it being some sort of distant cousin of mustard or potentially a very odd Thousand Islands? I'm not sure if additional toppings would save this considering the unappealing foundation. It just left me very unfulfilled. The milkshakes on the other hand? Fantastic. Definitely the highlight. It was just as good as the last time I went. I haven't been to many other places that matches the quality of here. Could not recommend more. I've yet to try the chicken or other fish so I can't comment on their quality. All I'm gonna say is, burger lovers maybe approach with a grain of salt. 3/5

The hot honey here is a little too much sweet on sweet, but I still really enjoyed it. My Cadillac Wagyu was also incredibly delicious.
