Let me start by saying I really wanted this place to be a regular go to. The food is very good and the staff is very friendly and helpful. My problem is with the operations of this restaurant. Particularly the menu and ordering options. The menu has a salad section however none of the salad options are available. The second is the wings menu. The menu states fries are included with your order of wings however, when you place your order you have to add them separately at full price. This is very confusing and left us feeling dissatisfied. I ordered the burger I wanted but my wife couldn't order a salad or get the wing/fries combo that is advertised. Really hope these issues are resolved. Again great food and service. Burger Nation, you will be sorely missed, and I wish I sang tales of your accolades, but alas, I did not thee any favors, and therefore I respite. Service was nothing short of exceptional--everything made to order. The place was always quite clean with benches that provided plenty of seating while also keeping wide walking paths along the restaurant to and from the pick up window, soda machine, and restrooms. Loved how crispy the tater tots came out and how well seasoned the fries were. The size of an order of onion rings were more than fair. The flavor combinations on burgers were nothing short of interesting, and those who never got to try you guys, I feel, really missed out. Always great eating here! Little hole in the wall burger joint off NASA Parkway. If you're looking for great burgers for fair prices here's your place! No frills, all good eats! And if talking to people isn't you thing they have iPad kiosks that make ordering even easier. I got a customized burger and my partner grabbed their famous PB&J burger. If there's one burger to try, it's definitely that one. They also have a variety of menu items, not pictured but the friend we ate with got an order of the buffalo wings that were pretty solid for a burger place. Can't say they were a stand out but for a nice plain burger and fries it is a place to visit..Pricing was good as well. Each was placed in its own large box and then inside a large paper bag. Patty was so good with, for me, the right blend of seasoning. Put that together with being fried on big, filled with flavor flat grill-- bro, please-- scrumptious!! Let's try Scrumpcholus! Yeah, it's not a word but it is now! Every bite was pure YUM! Now, you know what my new word means! Most joints skimp on Tater Tots but not here (check pix)! I got the Salted Tots rather than the Cajun ones. Not into spicy stuff. I want to savor the flavor of my food rather than be beat by the heat. We endure TX summers. We found this place as it was close to the Johnson Space Centre. The owner was so welcoming and helpful. Menu is extensive, something for everyone and everything is cooked to order. So glad I thought to hit up Burger Nation with the family on the way out of town! I've had them bookmarked for sometime now so I was excited for this stop! The burgers here live up to the hype! They have a computer self serve ordering system that was pretty easy to figure out, but if you need help the staff provides a great explanation on how to use it and is more than willing to help. I ordered the Stuffy and my husband got the Bacon Swissroom. I enjoyed every bit of my burger and it was cooked perfectly. Its was a nice thick patty - no thin smashed patty here. I tasted the husband's and loved the grilled onions on his! The fries with the special Cajun seasoning were delicious and I hated that I couldn't eat them all! My kid ordered the chicken tenders and she ate them all so I'd say she was a fan too. The cheapest burger ($7) with a small fry ($3.50) and no drink set me back just under $13 after tax. Biggest complaint was the back 2/3 of the restaurant from the order counter back to the restrooms smelt like sewage the day I went in. Let me get the not-so-great stuff out of the way first. The fries here don't do it for me. Everyone else loved them, but I'm more of a fry-from-frozen crinkle cut guy. (Don't judge.) -- If you prefer freshly cut fries like most people, Burger Nation has you covered. My fish sandwich was excellent. Crispy hot golden fish on a wonderfully soft toasted bun. Nirvana. But, after a bite of my son's burger, I wish that I'd over-ordered. I'm quite picky when it comes to burgers. My favorite burger also happens to be rated No. 1 on Texas Highways' list of best burgers in the Lone Star State (I loved it long before the magazine discovered it.) I also rate very highly a burger joint in nearby Bacliff. Add Burger Nation to that list. The beef here is legit. Juicy. Deep in flavor. And the bun is just outstanding. You'll eventually see this place in a magazine somewhere as being a burger-lover's haven. In the meantime, try it for yourself so that you can say you loved it before it became an institution. Sometimes I severely disappoint myself. This was one of those times. I am disappointed that I have not been here before because this burger was absolutely delicious. I came here with a large group of fellow Yelpers for the BOTM in November. This was truly one of the best burgers I have ever eaten. I ordered with Carnivorous Burger the way they make it. It had an extremely juicy beef patty (turkey was an option) topped with ham, bacon, and an egg. I also had all the normal fixins that come on a burger. I had them put pepper jack cheese on mine. All of this was slapped between a sourdough bun that seemed so fresh I'm wondering if they bake it in-house. The burger was cooked perfectly, juicy, and filling. In my opinion, the more napkins you use with a burger, the better it is. This is a five napkin joint hence the five stars. I also ordered the fries with sea salt. They too were cooked to perfection. They were thicker than normal fast food fries but not thick enough to be considered wedges. They were perfect and tasted delicious. They also have a cajun fry that I am anxiously awaiting a return trip to try. This was easily one of the best burgers I have ever eaten and trust me, I've eaten a lot of burgers. On a side note, thanks Mike M for putting this together. Also, if you are looking for a franchising opportunity, they are looking to expand. Bottom Line: A must try burger place. DEEE LISH USSS.
