This is very small, quaint burger type joint with a large menu. Some of the food was okay. The burgers were good and the fries were great! However, the chicken fried chicken had very little batter and was very thin. The mashed potatoes were ice cold. The green beans were cold and tasted like they came straight out of a can with no seasoning added. The drink machine looked very dirty, with rust running down under the spouts. Best Cheese burger I have had around this area of town!! I ordered the cheese burger combo, with the burger all the way ( lettuce, Mayo, tomatoes, onions, cheese, pickles) Burger was HUGE, compared to fast food burgers like McDonald's and Whataburger. The Pattie was fresh and cooked all the way. Size of Pattie was impressive and very filling. I loved how as I ate my burger the meat juices dripped out. Now that is fresh! Fries were good, very lightly seasoned. I had a pick up order so by the time I got home they were a bit soggy. I got the Wild West BLT which eh I wouldn't get again only had 2 pieces of bacon on each side very light . The salad was way better thought definitely try that . Found this roach in my fountain drink. Went to show the person at the counter to advise them that they may want to clean their ice machine out and he did not seem phased by this issue. His reaction was "they just cleaned it." And it was almost as if they have seen this before. We then asked if they had any type of bottled or canned drinks to at least wash down our disgust and were provided canned cokes to compensate for our inability to finish our drinks. We will never come to this place again... we stopped in and ordered A Swiss mushroom burger and an order of tater tots, as well as a double cheeseburger. We took a seat and waited and waited and waited... we saw other people that had been sitting there waiting as well. Finally pick up orders to go and leave. A full 50 minutes later one of the guys in the back asked me what our number was I told him our number and he had 2 burgers in his hand and said "here it is" he said that there were only 2 employees cooking and apologized for the long wait.. we left and brought the order home. When we arrived home, I started to unpack the order... how odd it was that there was not a Swiss mushroom burger at all and there were 2 orders of French fries. My husband who was already frustrated because of the long wait, took the order with the receipt back up to the restaurant. At which point the guy who took the order originally stated that my husband could get the **** out of there. My husband was not nasty and was simply asking what the issue was. The excuse of only 2 employees was not true.. I personally saw 4 people back on the grill... a larger darker complected guy with a bald head, a small hispanic guy who's back was turned to me the entire time, a middle aged guy with a baseball cap on who had delivered the incorrect order to me, as well as the guy that took the order to begin with and dropped the Fbomb on my husband when he took the order back. The order was NOT correct. We're we just supposed to eat it and be happy!?!? I don't think that is the way it works. We will never return. This place used to be great. There was a very nice lady that took orders and was very pleasant to deal with. Not sure who this guy is with the man bun poking out of his baseball cap and so incredibly rude. We were not wrong for asking for the order to be correct in the first place, then to be treated so badly because the error was brought to their attention. The owners need to fix the issue. If I were able to leave Zero Stars I would... how sad to have a place go down the tubes this badly.... I came in and got a breakfast burger combo with fries and a drink, added on an order of fried mushrooms, with tip it was almost $20. The fried mushrooms came out first, they were freshly fried, which is nice, but they were super salty. I only ate a few before leaving the rest. The burger comes out a little bit after, looks like they are freshly grilled and fries were super fresh too. The fries come covered in cajun salt? but next time I'd ask for no salt. Good burgers, me and my bf go he just the Philly cheesesteaks sub I think it is and I get a kids meal cheeseburger it fills me up.

Fried pickle sticks were awesome!!! You can always trust the burgers. Fries were a little soggy but the pickle sticks made up for it.

This neighborhood restaurant is alright, it hits the spot when you need it to, but overall it's inconsistent. You'll never know when you are gonna receive a good tasting charbroiled burger because whoever is in charge of cooking them seems to never cook them with TLC. Every occasion my dad has visited this restaurant he always wants that good ole burger he had the first time, the one that was charbroiled to perfection. Now, when we come through they always cook them in disappointment. My mum didn't even enjoy the taste. For me, I ordered a sloppy joe and the Wild West turkey sandwich, both were delicious, but didn't wow me. It was more of I expected it to taste like that since it's just a neighborhood restaurant with ordinary people cooking the food. Nothing was dry and nothing was juicy either. Better yet, if I wanted to, I could have made both meals at home and cooked it with TLC. On my birthday, I came here and was able to sample the Oreo pie which was sweet and delightful. The restaurant isn't always clean. My dad noted that he'd seen the same lemon laying in the drink station as when he saw it last week. Last time we came here, it smelled like a dirty wet rag. It was disgusting to smell that while I ate. It's no waitstaff, just cashiers, so the restaurant can be a little filthy. I had to mention to the cashier that the drink station needed more cup tops. It's too bad that this restaurant isn't what I thought to be because that would have been to have a neighborhood restaurant nearby. The ladies restroom (first time visit) was clean. I am so thankful I found this restaurant on Yelp! My Texas Original Burger was absolutely perfect!! I added sautéed mushrooms and they were spot on! My husband got the Philly Cheesesteak and it was great also. If you like sweet potato fries like me - get them, you will not be disappointed.
