Don't be mistaken by the gas station this is high quality restaurant level food!! The food, custom sauces are fantastic and the friendly staff makes it even better!! I had the black bean sandwich and my wife had the spicy chicken sandwich we both loved our sandwiches! Will be back soon!

Travelling through in the area, I had a craving for some good American food. Found this spot, seems like they newly opened. I'm a vegetarian and usually can't find something in small towns, but was happy to see they had a vegetarian burger on the menu! I got their combo with waffle fries and a drink. The burger and fries were delicious and hit the spot! I placed the order on their kiosk, and a few minutes later someone from the kitchen brought me my food. The restaurant is in a gas station, but it's not gas station food. It's got diner feels with friendly staff. Maybe they can add the impossible burger on the menu as well. If I'm ever back in the area, I'll definitely be stopping again!

Tried the burger, it just wasn't as good as the hype put out by Big Mouth. It was just an average burger.

She was quick with our drinks and let us look at the menu for a few more minutes. Mom had the Green Tomato BLT, the Missus had the club sammich. But enough about their meals ... I want to review my meal. Their menu lists that the burger is on a brioche bun ... check that one off of the item list. A hearty patty is also placed inside of the bun and along with it are pickles, lettuce, onion and tomato. Check and double Check. Mayo is slathered on the buns, at just the right amounts that make it taste good, but not so much that it slides the innards of the burger all over the place making the chomping experience mushy. Flavors were good, I had just hoped the patty fit the bun a little better. The ratio was a bit more bun sided than oatty sided. My fries, crinkle cut, were seasoned well. Well enough that no ketchup was needed to dip them into for additional flavor. I would have liked a bit more crispiness from a double fry, but these were toothy enough to get a decent mouth feel. The meal for the three of is was about 47.00, so inflation has also hit my hometown dining places as bad as they have hit my current home near The Woodlands. Will i return to eat there the next time I visit Mom? If she wants to go, then yes, yes I would. I would also hit it alone just for their chicken fried steak or chicken. Ciao, Darrell

The hostess/waitress was very professional. There was no wait, since there was only one other table (of 4) seated at 6:30 on a Friday night. The cocktails were very good. The menu was simple and elegant sounding, and if the food had matched the descriptions in the menu the dinner would have been better. We had the flatbread, sweet potato enchiladas, smashed potatoes and crackling kale. Of those, the kale was by far the best, and coincidently? the closest to the actual description on the menu. It was missing the seeds, the salt from which would have helped the sweetness of the dressing. the flatbread had good flavor, but whatever can they opened for the 'brisket' needed some more time regenerating it's moisture. potatoes were decent. enchilada's were very plain. Some heat from something - but no salt or other spices. The mismatch was what was striking. When reading the menu, it seemed we were going to have a terrific dinner. The reality of the food was not nearly as good.

I had read some reviewers stating that the food was bland, but my guess is because they are so used to very seasoned/salty foods. The rest of my party enjoyed their meals as well with one having bacon and hash browns, others having eggs with cheese, and pancakes. They had also stated that the coffee was delicious. The waitress was very nice and helpful. The inside of the restaurant is what you would expect from a diner. Not overly decorated, but seating was comfortable. The restaurant also has a shop where you can purchase stuffed bears and desserts, such as cream pies. I was tempted to try one, but thought maybe at another time.
