This is a simple drive through drive in window kind of place with no seating. We rang the bell and ordered hamburgers and a shrimp PoBoy, which were very good. The French fries were made from frozen and just OK but the onion rings were really tasty. read more

October 9th, 2024 Around 3:40-50pm My sister went to pick up lunch for us at Starburger. After ordering she couldn't find her card, and asked if she could use Apple Pay. The girl at the window said yes. Whilst doing so, my nephew in the backseat began to fuss & the Apple Pay on her phone wasn't working. She asked if she could come back after going home to get her physical card. THE OWNER came from behind the girl at the window and accused my sister of stealing from them prior by trying to use Apple Pay (we are black) & continued even after the female employee at the window told him that wasn't her. The discrimination & accusations are unacceptable, not all black people look the same. We have NEVER had an experience like that before, we've been loyal customers for YEARS. After this, we will NEVER be coming back. read more

This was one of my favorite places growing up. It's not at all the same. Food does not have the same flavor as before, You can tell they are cheating out on on their products. This is a small restaurant but don't let the size fool you! We both had the Star Burger and it was great. They put plenty of jalapenos on that had a little heat a good flavor plus the patty had a light crispiness on the edges. Their was a light seasoning on the fries that was tasty as well. Everything from burger to fries are seasoned just right. Pros: The buns are toasted perfectly and not soggy nor greasy like it is sometimes at Whataburger. Fries and onion rings come with meal. Cons: There is no inside seating except for the concrete seating outside next to the order window. Oh yeah there isn't a public restroom. Remember to ask for ketchup and mayo packets. Burgers come with only mustard. I order the star cheeseburger (double since the patties are thin to me) with bacon and jalapeños, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles. Two combos: one single patty combo One double with bacon and cheese & jalapeños with drinks for both. $17 bucks read more

It's been a LONG time since I had a Star Burger....like years! Well, they just got better with time. Some teacher friends and I wanted lunch to bring back to the school and Star Burger was the first option offered and we took it. We drove there and got in the drive thru. I ordered the mushroom burger basket, and I honestly can't remember what my friends ordered. I do remember that they were EXTREMELY happy with their food. Anyway, my food was AWESOME. It was the best fast food burger that I've had in the history of ever. It was hot and fresh and oozing with deliciousness. The basket comes with fries AND onion rings AND a drink. My friend dropped the drink, so I can't say much about that. But everything I ate was awesome. I devoured it all, diet be damned! I'm give them 4 stars for 2 reasons: 1) The drive thru really did take a long time. I honestly see no point in their drive thru as all it does is allow you to sit in your car at the window while they make your food rather than sit outside. 2) They did not give us a drink carrier. They literally put the drinks in a bag, which leaked, hence my friend dropping them because the bag lost its integrity. The food is a BIG 5 stars. So I recommend you go, order your food, sit in the Texas heat until it arrives, take it where ever you need to go, and eat it with happiness. OH! And take the drinks out of the bag as soon as possible. read more

Star is a really good place to to stop for lunch or a quick dinner. It's nothing fancy you can only eat outside but the food is outstanding.
