This is a simple drive through drive in window kind of place with no seating. We rang the bell and ordered hamburgers and a shrimp PoBoy, which were very good. The French fries were made from frozen and just OK but the onion rings were really tasty. read more

The place was closed down!!! Which was super disappointing.they need to update their web page.

October 9th, 2024 Around 3:40-50pm My sister went to pick up lunch for us at Starburger. After ordering she couldn't find her card, and asked if she could use Apple Pay. The girl at the window said yes. Whilst doing so, my nephew in the backseat began to fuss & the Apple Pay on her phone wasn't working. She asked if she could come back after going home to get her physical card. THE OWNER came from behind the girl at the window and accused my sister of stealing from them prior by trying to use Apple Pay (we are black) & continued even after the female employee at the window told him that wasn't her. The discrimination & accusations are unacceptable, not all black people look the same. We have NEVER had an experience like that before, we've been loyal customers for YEARS. After this, we will NEVER be coming back. read more

Usual order: shrimp fried rice with 2 egg rolls Everything is homemade even down to the battered chicken nuggets very big supporter in small businesses and this place tops most in this town read more

This is a small restaurant but don't let the size fool you! We both had the Star Burger and it was great. They put plenty of jalapenos on that had a little heat a good flavor plus the patty had a light crispiness on the edges. Their was a light seasoning on the fries that was tasty as well. Thanks to the great review on Yelp I found a new go to for burgers in Pasadena! read more

This was one of my favorite places growing up. It's not at all the same. Food does not have the same flavor as before, You can tell they are cheating out on on their products. Fries have a weird seasoning to them. The burger meat looks and taste horrible. It makes me really sad to say but I don't think I'll be returning any time soon. read more

So good! Wonderful prices and always consistent with how my food is prepared!they are always kind and make my food fresh. The seasoning on the fries is amazing. Try the hush puppies! read more

I had good food in the past at Star Burger, recently the shrimp gave me food poisoning. Beware. In and Out burger is far better.

Just moved to the neighborhood and was looking for a quick burger and decided to see what was near. Found this place and decided to give it a shot, and was not disappointed. Ordered a double cheeseburger with no onions or pickles, and after the first bite it was pretty clear this place knew what they were doing. The cheeseburger was juicy and freshly made. I opted to forgo the fries and drink, so maybe next time. read more

I wanted fresh beef patties. So when I received a frozen patty I was disappointed. The service was good but on a hot day not enough air conditioning for the spot. Overall just not what I was looking for in a burger joint. read more

We have been coming here since 2007. Always so friendly, great food at a great price. We were loyal customers. With that said. Looks as if the kids have taken over for the father, and since then the last 4 times I've been there, the service has been terrible, the food has been awful. After today, I give up, its not worth my time or effort. Makes me sad as the dad was great, took pride in his food and his business, but now the youngsters are running in intoi the ground. read more

Their burgers are soooo delicious! Order comes with frys & a few onion rings. The customer service is so good too! They also have a place to dine it which is always clean. read more

They should update their hours online as it's 8pm Sunday and they are not open. Was looking forward to trying.

I've been going to Star Burgers for over 10 years and it's probably one of the few "burger joints" left in the area besides 9'ers! They serve those old fashioned burger baskets that we all know and love. Why spend $6-$8 on a burger meal at a fast food chain when you can come here and get the perfect budget burger combo? I am talking made to order, hot off the grill! Cheese put on the patties while it's still cooking kinda goodness! The one thing that sets this place apart from even the biggest burger chains is the consistency in their product. Each burger is made to order, hot off the grill! The fries are always hot n crispy! The only competition that comes close to this level of freshness is Chic Fil A on Fairmont. Give them a try some time. Support your local small business and enjoy some great food in the process! read more

I am a fan of Whataburger here in Houston and P. Terry's in Atx..Star burger is pretty good for the money you pay. I do enjoy the good portion size here. Everything from burger to fries are seasoned just right. Pros: The buns are toasted perfectly and not soggy nor greasy like it is sometimes at Whataburger. Fries and onion rings come with meal. Cons: There is no inside seating except for the concrete seating outside next to the order window. Oh yeah there isn't a public restroom. Remember to ask for ketchup and mayo packets. Burgers come with only mustard. I order the star cheeseburger (double since the patties are thin to me) with bacon and jalapeños, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles. Two combos: one single patty combo One double with bacon and cheese & jalapeños with drinks for both. $17 bucks read more

From the outside you don't know what you're in for. The burgers were delicious. Everything you want from a good burger, no goofy things you don't. Crispy fries and onion rings. And we also tried the fried golden shrimp because they are painted on the window. You don't paint food on a window unless it's delicious. read more

Star Burgers - Burgers Near Me - Pasadena, Texas

It's been a LONG time since I had a Star Burger....like years! Well, they just got better with time. Some teacher friends and I wanted lunch to bring back to the school and Star Burger was the first option offered and we took it. We drove there and got in the drive thru. I ordered the mushroom burger basket, and I honestly can't remember what my friends ordered. I do remember that they were EXTREMELY happy with their food. Anyway, my food was AWESOME. It was the best fast food burger that I've had in the history of ever. It was hot and fresh and oozing with deliciousness. The basket comes with fries AND onion rings AND a drink. My friend dropped the drink, so I can't say much about that. But everything I ate was awesome. I devoured it all, diet be damned! I'm give them 4 stars for 2 reasons: 1) The drive thru really did take a long time. I honestly see no point in their drive thru as all it does is allow you to sit in your car at the window while they make your food rather than sit outside. 2) They did not give us a drink carrier. They literally put the drinks in a bag, which leaked, hence my friend dropping them because the bag lost its integrity. The food is a BIG 5 stars. So I recommend you go, order your food, sit in the Texas heat until it arrives, take it where ever you need to go, and eat it with happiness. OH! And take the drinks out of the bag as soon as possible. read more

Great lunch spot with fast service and hot food. Had a good little outside eating area to chat while your food is made. The grilled chicken sandwich was slightly thinner than expected but the fish sandwich came out perfect! Enjoy the sides of fries and onion rings. read more

Stopped by before a football game. Ordered two burgers for me and my wife, a corn dog for kid 2, and the oyster basket for kid 1. Negatives first- don't order the oysters. Tables are too small. A restroom with an exterior entrance is needed. Positives- the BURGERS, Fries and onion rings. The employees/owner. Delicious! read more
