Tex Mex Migas

Brought my mother for a midweek Mother's Day lunch. This was not my first visit. As always, I enjoy the atmosphere and decor of the restaurant. I have had the pleasure of dining outside and inside. Service was attentive and never had an issue or problem. I ordered the Tex-Mex Migas and mother ordered the Grilled Turkey and Spinach Panini. We were both pleased with our dishes and the flavors. The portion size was large! Another happy visit to Silver Sycamore and will once again return.

Visited this place for a friends baby shower and the place was really cute. The area has a lot of nice scenery which are great for pictures but you do apparently have to have an appointment for. The service during the event was good. However the food was a little disappointing. The chicken croissant sandwhich was mostly bread and a little bit of chicken salad. The area surrounding is beautiful. Great little place for hosting an event.

I am in the middle of my stay at The Prairie Willow cabin and absolutely LOVE IT!! The cabin is well-appointed in an old West style and is super-comfy! The property is a beautiful and well maintained old West town in a little landscaped Prairie with lovely fountains and Visages. I have been to the Silver Tea Room for the complementary breakfast (huge and delicious) and lunch (chicken & dumplings and a Chardonnay) and would eat there even if I weren't a guest. My server was very friendly and attentive. If I was in the market for a wedding venue I would book the full property for a weekend without hesitation because of it's uniqueness and quality. Great place!

We were a party of 6. The building is small but decorated so cute. They asked twice if we had a reservation. I thought that was a little weird. They seated us within a few min. It took awhile for our food to come out, but it was really good.

Pretty good Lack of communication between employees there and being given false information was extremely frustrating. Paying just under two grand for 50 people I figured the service and food would have been well worth it. I was very wrong. The food quality was okay but the amount was disappointing, pretty overpriced for such small amounts. The venue itself was beautiful. We kept having people from other events come into ours because staff wasn't there to let people know there was currently an event going on so that was really annoying. The serving staff were just a couple of kids. After waiting about 45 minutes and not seeing one server in sight I had to literally go find them in their "employees only" room so that could cut and serve our cake. Then when they cut it, it was a disaster. I figured paying the price that we did we would have been given adult servers that actually knew what they were doing and didn't have to be looked for. A hair was found in the artichoke dip by one of our guest, that was extremely embarrassing. It was a good sized hair too, not like a tiny piece of hair. Overall, the venue itself was beautiful but the service and experience was not. Never using this place again.

Baby shower its a boy!

If you like hearing people that LIVE in this place screaming in the lobby, or people approaching you for money in the lobby you will love this place. Non Smoking rooms? You bet, but there is no guarantee they don't smell like smoke The front desk man also runs a hotel shuttle service so when you get there after a long flight, you may have to wait about 15 to 20 minutes for him to get back. Also don't expect to find a parking place. There aren't enough for the amount of people that LIVE there, considering there are probably 3-4 people LIVING in a room you're lucky if you find a parking spot No telephone, no remote for the TV. The continental breakfast is dry cereal with milk and coffee or orange juice. But thats OK there is a Denny's VERY close by. The only good thing I can say about this place is that the free wi-fi works. iI wish I could give this place a MINUS 5 rating.

I was able to use points at this location so I picked this hotel. Webster was only about a 15 minute drive down 45. Not too bad. Well, first impression... the area is way sketch BUT the hotel isn't bad. Luckily, our vehicle isn't new/great so I wasn't overly concerned with it getting broken into. Lobby floor needed a vacuum but otherwise, the building was in ok shape/cleanliness. The gentleman at the desk was friendly. I honestly don't remember any other interactions with hotel staff during our stay. Our room was clean and comfortable. We LOVE the free hotel breakfasts. Kids always enjoy getting to eat whatever they want. (Sugar consumption doesn't count when on vacation). Despite it being a bit cooler, windy and chance of being caught in a downpour, the kids went into the pool. We thought it was great that they pool toys and pool noodles available. Overall, despite the location, we had a nice time.

This one has some work to do to keep up with my expectations, but I can say the staff was attentive and competent (thanks Shayla). I booked my room on the tarmac before finally taking off after endless delays, and 3 hours later I was in my bed in Houston. Check-in was seamless and no-fuss, per usual. The hallways were dirty, my window shade was inoperable, and the free shuttle only runs from 9 to 9. But my room was clean and modern, the bed was comfortable, the water pressure/temp were great, and the A/C did as it was told. There's a gas station/mini mart within steps of the front door, in case you arrive past 12 a.m. like I did. There's other late-night food nearby (if you have a car). The taxi ride from Hobby was under 10 minutes. So, shortcomings aside, another satisfying stay at Holiday Inn Express!

Being that there were no remaining flights out to my final destination last night, Southwest Airlines provided me with a complimentary hotel voucher to this hotel. I should have paid my own hotel and stayed somewhere nicer. The halls smelled of marajuana as I walked to my room. The walls are so super thin (or for some other reason unknown to me) that I could hear television sets on in other rooms, voices of people talking in other rooms, etc. When I finally got to the room, I was so tired that I immediately pulled down the bed sheets only to find a bug under the sheets in my bed (see check in photo). I had been instructed that to ensure I get to the airport in time to make the super early flight I was rebooked on to pls come down to the front desk 10 minutes before I needed/wanted to leave. I came down at 5am exactly ... not even one minute later. The gal at the front desk told me I was out of luck, and that the night dude had given me incorrect information. She further explained that the 5:00am shuttle had already left, and that there would be another shuttle I could catch at 5:30. WHAT!?!? My flight was leaving at 6:35am (boarding at 6:05am) so that would not give me enough time to make it. That being the case, I had to pay for my own Lyft to the airport. All in all this was a terrible hotel experience. I did go ahead and give them 2 stars (instead of the single star I would otherwise have left) as they did appear to have a decent, clean gym and an alright pool & hot tub. I didn't have the opportunity to use either, but I did see them. I could never, in good conscience, recommend this hotel to anyone.

There were guests doing drugs in the parking lot and the stairwells. Our room smelled musty/moldy and the air conditioner didn't help, but we couldn't leave the door open because the other guests doing drugs and yelling at each other were scary. The room had a chair with a broken off arm, towel holders had been ripped from the wall, a random drain in the middle of the bathroom floor was crusted with dirt and debris. The shower head was broken so you couldn't change the spray and the mini fridge had a broken door. Plus there were water bottles and snacks in the room - already partially drunk and opened - I assume left there by the previous guests? When I told them I wanted to cancel our reservation for the second night (24 hours prior) the hostess laughed in my face and told me it was impossible. Luckily, I booked through a third party who took care of that mess and refunded the second night. When we tried to check out in the morning, the clerk ignored me while he was on the phone for 20 minutes and then refused to check me out. It was horrible - don't be fooled by their advertising.
