(Like the bread & butter is good but, not something I personally would go out of my way for) Good service, i don't have any complaints there. Hostess was nice & server was nice. Walked in was greeted but told they only had 1 fryer working. So this meant only chicken tenders & fries from the fried menu. Mind you not ALOT more stuff than expected is fried. We had to switch tables because the booth we 2st were seated at was poorly cleaned. We asked for a another. We were moved. The gentleman that took our out was very attentive & kind. I had steak tips, they were overcooked. My sister had bourbon glaze salmon & shrimp, salmon was overcooked, my kids & neice had Alfredo pasta & tenders, they had no complaints so I was fine. Today Service was good but it was too cold inside the establishment. Food got cold way too quick and I didn't get to enjoy it or eat 1/2 of it because it was cold and I had to take it home. This visit was not what I was expecting and at over $70 spent, I was not happy at all. I ordered the spinach dip appetizer and the grilled chicken Alfredo which was also on the dry side and lacked flavor. My friend ordered the chicken fried chicken and placed a second order to go. This is the second time I've visited one of these restaurants, though in a different location, and I've had a similar experience. The place and atmosphere are nice and relaxed, with a good variety on the menu, from pasta to steaks. Their Painkiller drink is delicious! However, they don't seem to handle larger groups very well. This time, I went with just 7 people, and the table we were given felt too small and uncomfortable, with little room to move plates around. The restaurant wasn't busy, but our order still took over 30 minutes to arrive. When one of my family members mentioned the delay to the server, his response was just, 'Really? Oh wow,' with no apology for the wait. I ordered a medium steak with shrimp, but once again, the shrimp was forgotten, and the steak was overcooked (closer to medium well or well done). While the menu has a lot to offer and the atmosphere is pleasant, I'm not sure I'd return after this experience. read more

I went to Cheddars on my birthday. Wow The seafood was wonderful. Then the nice waitress brought me a large piece of chocolate cake with two scoops of ice cream. Man it made my day. Visited here on a Sunday evening for supper. Worst experience ever. The service was terrible. The food was terrible, most came out cold. They told us the I hope brown gravy is ok with your chicken fried steak, otherwise it will be a few minutes to heat up white gravy, uhm, why wasn't the white gravy heated while you were cooking the chicken fried steak. Who wants brown gravy with chicken fried steak. It took super long for the waiter to bring the drinks out after taking our order. We asked for 2 orders of bread 3 times before finally getting some half way through our meal. We only got one refill each and that was because we finally asked the manager and he brought us some because the waiter was again missing in action. One in our party didn't even get his food until everyone was done eating. One of our party wanted dessert and had told the waiter they would be ordering dessert after the meal but the waiter would disappear and so we finally just asked for the check because we had been there so long. The restaurant was not busy at all. The checks were messed up and the waiter seriously needed to either get some training or say that being a waiter was not his wheelhouse at all! Roxy was our server and she was absolutely wonderful. The tea and croissants were the only good thing that we received. I ordered the meatloaf, mashed potatoes and red beans and rice. The meatloaf had no flavor, was burned on the edges, looked like a dense patty, could not even tell if it was ground beef. Definitely didn't lol like meat. The mashed potatoes had huge chunks of secret ingredient, the beans were good but the rice was way over cooked. He has rib/grilled shrimp combo with broccoli as a side. The ribs were tough and had to try to naw on them to get any meat. Finally gave up and left them. Broccoli was over cooked, shrimp tasted fishy/shrimpy. Overall a rating of 1 on both meals. 10 on croissants, tea and service. We left a note on the receipt. Upon leaving the exit by the podium was full of waitstaff chi chatting. Extremely disappointing. This is another one of my favorites. The food is always fresh. The staff is pleasant and the restaurant is family friendly. I went for lunch. Although they have a good lunch menu. I chose to order a 5oz salmon and it sat on a bed of rice pilaf, the salmon was cooked perfectly. I also had a side of green beans which were seasoned pretty good, and a house salad. I love their ranch dressing .... But you know what was the best were those buttered croissants. The came out hot with the honey butter dripping off of them.. They were great! Washed everything down with a sweet tea.. My waiter didn't miss a beat. It's a family friendly restaurant and they allow large groups to dine. I will be back!!! read more

Although their service here is great, there's not that many plates I am happy to choose from. The quality of food from Cheddars has definitely changed over the years so I don't come here often but I came because I took someone out to lunch and this is one of their favorite places. The ambience was laid back and the server was nice and gave me some great recommendations. I went with the chicken Dijon and mushrooms with a side of carrots and broccoli and was able to almost finish my plate. My date had the chicken fried chicken and loved it! read more

Got seated really fast but they took a very long time to serve us drinks or take our order then I ordered the salmon with no bourbon sauce just blackened received food with the bourbon sauce... then the waitress said will give us croissants at the end of meal never came back to check on us never refilled our drinks and then when she finally came around we stopped her for a to go box for my husbands food she forgot the croissants when didn't even ask for the ticket would've taken way to long to get that so we paid on the machine at table. My first time eating at this location so it is possible that they were having an "off" day. Stopped in for lunch on 2/7 and ordered the 5oz Grilled Salmon over rice with a baked potato and green beans. Well, thank goodness for the croissants is all I can say. The salmon was good. The baked potato was not only the smallest I've ever seen served at a restaurant, but it must have been from the day before or sitting under a heat lamp for hours as it was hard and too dried out to eat. Speaking of hard, so was the rice. Then came the green beans. Oh lordy... can we say hospital food? They were mushy, bland, and seemingly discolored. The server was quite rude, her name was Ashley. She was very disrespectful with my order. I had ordered a fried chicken steak and I had asked for brown and white gravy on the side. She had said in a condescending tone "both gravy? Are you sure?". She had looked at me with disgust which was very disrespectful. Food was great but she was quite disrespectful and not attentive at all. I had never been to this restaurant before. Overall it was not bad. The waiter was attentive and did bring our drinks and appetizers out quick but forgot the crescent rolls. We didn't get them until I asked another waiter for them. Still it was all good. They were nice and soft. I had the monte Cristo but I didn't like it. Not that it was bad tasting but definitely not for me. This restaurant I would actually like to return to and try something else. The fries weren't over salted which I appreciate. It was very loud when we went but I think it was all the loud drunk birthday parties happening nearby. Kinda wish we had been sat on the other side of the restaurant. read more

The service here was horrible. I came here to celebrate my dad for Father's Day. I came an hour early from 2 because I was told that it would be an hour wait. Here it is more than an hour and a half and I'm still waiting. This place is near my house and they have THE BEST Monte Cristo sandwich I've ever had at a chain restaurant. I will admit that I haven't tried a lot of things on their menu, but I have tried a few and they've always been good. I'm a fan of the key west chicken and shrimp, of course the Monte Cristo, and who can resist the HONEY BUTTER CROISSANTS?? Amazing! The one thing I wish they'd bring back is the bread pudding. It was so good. It was made from their croissants and was the most delicious!! The reason I took off a star is because of the staff. They're nice, but I personally don't enjoy having dinner with my husband and hear them walk by shouting curse words at each other. My wife and I stopped in today the waitress didn't have that many people to wait on but she took ok forever to take a drink order or bring a refill. I'd say 20 mins out of a 40 min wait for food with an empty glass. We ordered the Wisconsin cheese curds which was a 100% joke it was a greasy plate of batter with some mozzarella cheese inside 40% of them. Not a curd and I've had Wisconsin cheese curds in Wisconsin several times. After waiting 40 mins we got our food a chicken fried steak and a chicken fried chicken. I got red beans and rice as a side and it was lottery red beans sitting on top of rice and was the worst I've ever had my chicken fried chicken was very odd. It didn't taste bad but I'm 90% sure that was not chicken it was pan grown chicken the texture of the meat was not right at all. I kept looking to see if it was cooked but the chicken was in layers and I've never had one this way. I got sick 10 mins after we left and my wife was sick within an hour of leaving and we are lucky we had 2 bathrooms and it didn't taste good coming up either. Cheddar's has been off my list for many years. Oddly enough, we were in GA and stopped in. That particular evening, made me rethink Cheddar's...maybe I should give them another try...maybe.. We stopped in at the location near Pasadena off the Beltway. We were seated right away and then our server Kris walked up. I have to tell you, this particular day was apparently his regular day off and he was not even mediocre with his Customer Service. When placing our order he quickly said the coleslaw and ribs were terrible. Sooo, we ordered the chicken strips. Wrong choice. The fries were cold, my husband asked for fresh/hot fries. Kris mumbled, "I'll get you some more.." and he reappeared less than 1 minute with more fries. Like magic..viola..! The chicken was heavily battened, I had to ask for the "complimentary croissant rolls". Anyway..if you're needing something just to eat, then maybe this is the place for you. This was my best experience at a cheddars establishment ever. My parents love cheddars so when we want to take them out we usually come here and it has always been touch and go for us. I usually get the steak and tenders and for some reason my steak is never cooked the way I want. I know it's not a steakhouse but it would be nice to have it in the same ball park. This location however hit it out of the ballpark. The food was amazing, hot and flavorful. The service at this location was the best. Our table was sticky and not properly cleaned off after the last guests but our server came over and throughly cleaned the table off and he also gave us some honey butt croissants for the trouble. I was just in shock at such good service, he explained the menu well and also double checked our order to make sure we did not want to add anything extra. I begged my boyfriend not to bring me here because it's so awful! But since i hadn't been here in some time i decided sure why not, let's give it a try. But nope. My burger was pink , the place was so dirty a lot of servers have their airpods in having a full on conversation with someone over the phone. (not very discreetly either) Not sure why the host decided to sit us at such a messy table. She also seem like she didn't care or bother to acknowledge that their was a mess under the table nor did she offer some place cleaner to sit. Our server wasn't any better forgot many things and seemed to be rushing us to order. If i could give this place zero stars i would. I never did see a manager on the floor directing anyone to clean or do anything really. Overall awful, for sure NEVER coming back. read more
