#5 2 piece chicken, side, bread and drink.
    Liz I.

Really enjoyed my meal, the chicken and fries were hot out of the fryer. Good portions, I enjoyed 2 piece meal with fries as my side and it was really hot, the chicken was crispy, not greasy and moist on the inside. The lady included napkins and ketchup without me having to ask for it. The meal was around $7.50.

Not enough chicken on the buffet

It's basic fried chicken but done well just like I remember it when I was a kid. The service was good for being in the drive thru.

But when I arrived I was pleasantly surprised how it's actually much more elevated that fast food The interior is nicely decorated, and has a southern watery vibe. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the food came out quick. A manager walked around asking how our dining experience was and even bused our plates For those that haven't been to a CSC, they specialize in chicken salad. There are several different chicken salads to choose from. There's classic, fruitier, more savory, spicier, and seasonal options. There's also sides you can choose from. If you're on the go you can quickly purchase a pre-made meal from a refrigerated section near checkout Some tips: Instead of a side you can get an extra scoop of chicken salad. If you're trying to avoid carbs you can just get the scoops with crackers. Also, if you're trying to join their rewards program you can get points for your order, and on your birthday you get a free meal Everything tasted great, and Im not even the biggest chicken salad fan. I really like the little iced cookie you get with your meal Cheers!!

They are also known for their custards This location was fairly clean, there were plenty of tables open. There's also a free parking lot with many spots and I've never known it to fill up The staff were friendly and professional enough. You get an order number, and they let you know when the order is ready. I'm not sure if it was the microphone, but we couldn't understand a word the person using it was saying I wish there were a couple more healthy options here than their interesting take on a salad, but I don't know that healthy is necessary the demographic they're going for. I do like that they have options for fries vs onion rings, and they offer a variety of house fry sauces which are a nice touch Some tips: They have a drive-thru is you want to take your order on the go They have shoestring fries that can get a little too crispy, but again it's nothing that the fry sauce can't fix. They have a jalapeño sauce, but it really doesn't have much of a kick Cheers!!

I broke my Freddy's boycott because I had a $30 gift card. Though this was a different location, I…read morestill left disappointed. The service here on my visit was outstanding. I even explained to the manager at the counter my previous experience with a nearby location and corporate (who remained radio silent), and she did everything in her power to help mend the relationship. Impressive. Not so impressive was the food here. First, this chain serves Vienna Beef hot dogs, which are the best hot dogs in the universe, as far as I'm concerned. (I order them regularly from Gold Belly.) Vienna Beef is central to a Chicago Dog, which used to be central to the Freddy's menu. But no longer. They don't even have sport peppers in the building any more, rather they offer fried jalapenos. So I went with mustard and kraut, since they tend to do a decent job with that. My bad. Though the kraut was nice and crunchy, the dogs came out ... not cold, but barely warmed. The fries, which you have to eat in a hurry (else they'll get cold), came out at room temp. I sampled the smash burger and the patty melt and was unimpressed with the temperature and quality. Someone way over salted the burger -- probably an accident -- and it just seemed greasier than usual. Also not impressive here was the cleanliness. The table was OK, but the drink and condiment area left much to be desired. Also, take a look at my photo of the tray. Why would someone serve my food on this? Bottom line: Freddy's has been passed around between private equity firms since the pandemic. I usually don't complain or worry about such transactions, but my experiences at this joint since then have mostly been negative. Coincidence? Perhaps. But the next time someone gives me a gift card to this place, I'll re-gift it.

As far as fast food chicken goes, I thought Bojangles on Bay Area Blvd was a great experience! I…read moretried Bojangles for the first time just recently because of all the hype I had heard about it from East Coast people. What used to be the old Genghis Grill location, this Bojangles definitely gives Raising Canes and Layne's a run for their chicken tender money. This location is pretty spacious, clean interior, fast drive thru, and had plenty of parking too. I missed the name of the guy I talked to at the cash register, but his service was great and you could tell how hard of a worker he is. I tried their 4 piece tenders, chicken sandwich, biscuit, dirty rice, bo sauce, house made ranch, and their new blackberry cobbler. The chicken is crispy, well seasoned, and larger than the other fast food chicken tender competitors. But the main thing I'm coming back for are those BISCUITS! By far the best fast food biscuits at any fast food restaurant, it honestly beats some actual restaurants too. The only small critique was that I didn't care for the dirty rice too much, it was just a little bland, and the blackberry cobbler was way too sweet. Otherwise, I'll definitely be back again! I want to try their mac n cheese and peach honey pepper sauce. Enjoy!

The burger was pretty decent...kind of messy, but not bad. I'm a lover of fries with my burger, so this is where the real disappointment came in. The fries were absolutely cold and hard, as if they had been fried hours earlier. I'm not sure how that happens when the restaurant is so busy. You would think fries would be going out constantly and served hot and fresh. I also ordered a chocolate shake, which seemed to be vanilla ice cream mixed with Hershey's chocolate syrup. That wouldn't have been a huge problem, except it wasn't even mixed well. For half the time, it just tasted like plain vanilla. Overall, the staff was friendly and the burger was decent, but the cold fries, poorly mixed shake, and long wait made the experience not worth it for me. Honestly, I think we should've opted for Dave's Hot Chicken instead.
