Stopped in for burgers recently, and one of the nice things about it is you can ask for your burger to be grilled as opposed to a standard cook. Their catfish is wonderful as well! Plus you get a free ice cream cone at the end of your meal... Who can argue with that? read more

I just love the way this place looks. It's so relaxing to me with the picnic style table cloths. Honestly I think my experience is likely partially my fault. But let me start by saying this was a delivery for about 20 people for work. And their staff is extremely helpful and really nice and efficient. They were on time which is great. I ordered the Asian salad with chicken, patty melt and chicken sandwich. I think from the restaurant to our office and in the box to keep it warm then the 10 minutes for everyone to come in so the crispy topping for the salad ended up soggy. The chicken ended up ok but the burger was kinda soggy and the fries too. But it's the first time we had this experience with them so it may have been a fluke. On the fence! This was another of my unplanned stops for early dinner. The staff was friendly, just busy. It was bustling with customers, with no wait, although not too loud. It was very will lit, cleaned and spacious in some areas and a little cramped in other. They do offer vegan options however, they are not really marketed, unless you inquire. Overall this was not one of my best dining experiences as my sandwich was not one to inspire another visit. Also the fries seemed a bit old as some were hardened and tough to the bite being crunchy. This place is a glorified Lubby's except it's extremely crowded. I don't know why it was so busy, then again it was 1pm on a Sunday. And the weather was nice. The food is a 3/5, prices are a little high, service is a 2.5/5, parking is terrible, the seating is pathetic. I've driven by and pass by this place for years and been meaning to try this place but we were always either full or ate already. We were finally in this side of the street and finally decided to try it out. My husband and I decided to share 1 entree. We got the chicken fried chicken with a reeses peanut butter shake and oh my, the shake was delicious. My toddler couldn't stop eating/drinking it. Every single time I've been here. Mia's table is always serving good consistent food and service. All of the workers here are so helpful and they have plenty of staff here. I always order the chicken fried chicken with double green beans. The chicken is always very juicy on the inside yet there's the crispy on the outside too and the jalepeno gravy that they put on top is just yummy and flavorful. It's always good. I've never had a bad meal here. It's not something I cook at home but it gives me that home cooked food vibe. Love that they have free self serve ice cream cones for customers here. 10/10. read more

We had a retiree lunch here today. They accommodated a group of 22 old guys no problem. Everyone enjoyed the lunch and location is convenient. Everyone bragged about how good the food was . You order your food at the counter, get your own drinks, find your own table but they will bring your food to you and tidy the table for you when you're done. They also had a self serve condiments table and our favorite, free soft serve ice cream. It wasn't the best free ice cream I've had, but it was still free and hit the spot after a hearty meal. We had the burger with fries and chicken fried steak with mac and cheese and cream corn. Our main entrees were over cooked but what saved the chicken fried steak was the fact that it was some what flavored and breaded pretty well. I had been wanting to try Mia's Table for a while and am so glad I finally did last weekend! I somehow didn't realize this was a Carrabba restaurant. Very likely would've tried it much sooner had I did b/c Johnny Carrabba & family have yet to disappoint. I'm glad to have so many of their delicious restaurants here in Htown. So now that I've finally tried out Mia's Table, I'll likely be eating here at least once a week. The food is delicious of course and they sealed the deal by offering a curbside pickup option. I did dine in during my visit, however. The service is quick, order at the counter fast casual but there is nothing at all that tastes casual about the food. They have food options for everyone so it's a great place to go with family or a group with varying tastes. I ended up getting the amazingly juicy grilled pork chops. You get 2 sides with it so I went with the green beans and a house salad. The house salad was about $2 extra and I got their house made ranch dressing to go with it. Their ranch dressing is the tasty kind you're hoping it will be. You know, the kind you feel you can also drink, lol. The green beans were absolutely perfect and well seasoned. My unsweet tea was also on point. My brother had a fried fish & shrimp plate that looked yummy and I believe my niece had chicken tenders & fries that also looked good. I tried one of her fries and they are crispy and perfect. There's plenty of seating, including a covered patio area and u pick out your own table. I love that pretty much everything is self serve. Drink fountain, condiments, to go containers, the refreshing and yummy soft serve ice cream near the exit that you can grab as you're leaving or take back to your table to enjoy. For years, I had been admiting Mia's Table from afar. Then, one day, after a doctor's visit and to avoid rush hour traffic, I decided to stop and eat here. I'm so glad I did because a seat at Mia's Table is extra special and delicious! First and foremost, the menu for this place is vast! I'm cautious of restaurants that identify as having American cuisine because that usually means they stretch themselves to please every palate, but can't and shouldn't. Therefore, I usually ask the wait staffer what they would suggest. That usually gives me a good grasp on what the restaurant is really good at making. However, the crew member thar took my order came back with the response, " What are you looking for - sweet, savory...etc?" That's a pretty nice response because that communicates to me that all the food is pretty good. I decided to go with my first mind and get seafood. Didn't peep any Yelp pictures that showed me any seafood dishes, but when the menu specifially states they're serving alabama catfish, that's real catfish and it has to be fried in cornmeal if you know what youre doing. Sure enough, when my plate came out, it was a beautiful sight! First off, the plate was stacked high and was hot with filets of catfish and shrimp. The stack, however, was developed with a nice buttery slice of Texas Toast. I swapped my regular fries for sweet potato fries, and they were delightful and well complimented with the fresh coleslaw that paired with the dish. I mean, I was so fat full from this meal that it was ridiculous! I ended up taking some of the meal home for a snack later because 2 big glasses of lemonade were just too much to pass up on, especially since the waitstaff came by and asked if I wanted a refill and refilled the glass for me! Very warm and friendly atmosphere. Perfect for groups and families as the music playing in the background were oldies and country music. I also appreciate the pet patio that allows owners to dine with their pets but has a separate entrance for them. I think that is more than fair because everyone is not comfortable around animals. The patio is nice and breezy as well as covered and enclosed so it can be accessible year round. Honestly, I wished I sat on the patio because the interior of the restaurant was pretty frigid, but nothing a sweater couldn't cure. You'd also be delighted to pair your meal with a dessert or adult beverage, which they do serve or keep it Rated G and grab a free ice cream cone. The concept reminds me of a Luby's mixed with a Jason's Deli- fresh and homestyle meals without waiting in a line for the meal because who wants to go back in time like they're in high school waiting for someone to plop food on a plate?! Love that Mia's Table takes your order and you find your own seat, placing the buzzer on the table that has a location device on it, so the server will find you. Great technology! It's been a couple of years since I've eaten at Mia's. I was wanting something different that was more like a home cooked meal so I placed an order online. I drive by this location all the time, but for whatever reason, I hadn't actually eaten here until this particular visit. To my surprise, the order was ready before the promised time! Once I clicked the link to let them know I was parked, the employee quickly brought out my food. I love details like a sturdy bag so that the food doesn't spill. They packaged the food nicely within the containers too so it was nice and hot when I got home. I went with grilled chicken with green beans and mashed potatoes. The portions are large and very filling. Grilled Chicken - Had a nice char to it. It was pretty tender and very good. Mashed Potatoes - They were good but I apparently forgot to add gravy to the order. Green Beans - These were cooked well and were very flavorful with pieces of bacon in them. Not bad. I'm trying out places that my wife and I have never been to while she is out of town, so I figured I'd hit this place up and check out their fried chicken offering. I got it with mashed potatoes, plain white gravy (not jalapeno), and mac and cheese. The chicken was cooked well, the breading stayed on, and it had decent flavor. Not the best I've ever had, but definitely in the "good" territory. The mashed potatoes and mac and cheese were also in the "good" territory. They have pretty stiff competition in the area from a certain BBQ place near there, so that's what I compare them to. The staff I interacted with were nice. I didn't have any issues, and the price was comparable to other places of this type. I would return to maybe try something else, but there's so many good places to eat in that area, it probably wouldn't be soon. read more

Pretty good food in a family-oriented space. Note that this restaurant is counter-service. The tacos are pretty good, though I would've appreciated a warning on the spice. The plate of chips and queso makes up for only getting two (good-size) tacos. The patty melt my dad had was good by his word. The milkshakes were really good, which helps. The service is prompt and friendly, and seems happy to make modifications to dishes. My only complaint is that the building is crowded and loud, but I prefer that to an empty restaurant. That being said, The cashier, Andrew, suggested this when I told him I always end up getting the grilled pork chops (because they're amazing). I told him I wanted to try something different. Overall, the food here disappoints me, and you could definitely get better southern food at another restaurant. I ordered the Kickin' Fried Chicken Sandwich with a side of sweet potato fries, and I don't think I have ever been more disappointed by a sandwich in my entire life. The sandwich was so sorry-looking, and was completely drenched in buffalo sauce and jalapeño gravy to the point where it was dripping everywhere. The extreme amount of sauce caused the chicken to be soggy by the time the sandwich came to me. In addition, the taste didn't impress me either.
