Can you give five stars for being just about the worst place to eat ? I've eaten there for couple years now and every time I go back it's worse than before. The food has degraded so much it's terrible. Chicken fried chicken that tastes like fish. Cold food and even worse !! Soggy fries and onion rings . Green Beans that taste dead and gravy so runny it won't stick to pasty mashed potatoes! This is one I won't ever go back to !!! And I think I just about have the loan I had to take out to eat there !! I think the owners are out of town for a place to go down hill that fast . I guess if I have to I will have no choice but to give it one star for location. Bring your Rolaids if you dare to try it!!! Let me start by saying I have NEVER ordered meatloaf at a restaurant. That being said, The cashier, Andrew, suggested this when I told him I always end up getting the grilled pork chops (because they're amazing). I told him I wanted to try something different. Months after bookmarking this regional mini-chain, I finally visited for lunch. I'm glad I did. Ordering here is at the counter. After taking a seat at whatever table you choose, a runner delivers your food. The atmosphere here is airy and roomy. It's clean too. The food here is quite satisfying. My wife was in awe of her chicken salad sandwich. In fact, Mia's uses candied pecans, which apparently give the chicken salad a nice boost. I'm more of a home cooking guy, and I ordered the chicken fried steak with green beans and mashed potatoes. I'm almost sure they use a tenderized club steak here, and that's fairly standard. But they do a nice job with it, considering no knife is required. The jalapeño gravy is also tasty -- with a tiny bit of spicy bite. The green beans are akin to something most southerners would enjoy at a family reunion: cooked down to a soft consistency with plenty of smoked pork and onion flavor. The mashed potatoes might just be the best I've ever had at a restaurant ... creamy like whipped butter. If I have a bitch about this place, it's the whole advanced tipping thing. (I've noticed more and more restaurants leaning this way.) Why would you ask for a gratuity in advance? Furthermore, why would any reasonable patron offer one? I prefer cash on the table as I'm readying to leave the place. It just makes more sense. We'll be back here for sure. Mia's does an excellent job. read more

The service is fast, the staff are friendly, and the atmosphere is pleasant, but the food is mediocre at best. I could get better fried chicken at Kelley's for a bigger portion and a better price. Overall, the food here disappoints me, and you could definitely get better southern food at another restaurant. I ordered the Kickin' Fried Chicken Sandwich with a side of sweet potato fries, and I don't think I have ever been more disappointed by a sandwich in my entire life. The sandwich was so sorry-looking, and was completely drenched in buffalo sauce and jalapeño gravy to the point where it was dripping everywhere. The extreme amount of sauce caused the chicken to be soggy by the time the sandwich came to me. In addition, the taste didn't impress me either. We came here in a large group - 4 adults, 4 young kiddos - and it was perfect for our crew. They have a variety of kid meals, high chairs, infant car seat slings, free soft serve, plus my tacos came with chips and queso included. There's really not much more that I could want! Parking is plentiful, and they have inside and patio (with fans) seating. You pay at the counter when you order (ideal scenario for families with small children vs. having to pay at the counter on your way out, as I've seen at another restaurant) and you seat yourself. First off everyone was super friendly from beginning to end, my wife and I was greeted as we entered by the young lady taking our order at the front entrance. Nice place, clean and very attentive staff. I enjoyed the outdoor patio since the inside was way too cold for me. This place is a bit pricey for the amount of food you receive. $18 gets you three small butterflied shrimp and three small strips of catfish, two onion rings, cocktail sauce and tartar sauce, and a Texas toast slice. Fries come with it unless you want to substitute but I'm not sure if you pay more. I ordered a side of fruit and a side of creamed corn which I didn't care for and a sweet tea and it came out to $35 dollars. Pappadeaux prices but not Pappadeaux quality or quantity. Just wanted to give it a try but I won't make a special trip for it. A banana pudding I believe was about $5, I didn't try it but a bit much. You do get a free self serve ice cream cone if you want though. read more

Mia's does offer Burgers and Seafood. It is a little confusing ordering as you enter but the restaurant. It has a nice atmosphere more like a small town restaurant. On multiple visits we have ordered burgers. They come out cooked medium. For reading it was part of Johnny Carrabbas, I am surprised from multiple visits most staff does not smile (in my opinion and most everything seems rigid). We like the restaurant's food. Came here on a whim because my boyfriend really wanted to try it and see what it was about. I've been here before and I didn't think much of it, but that was probably because I had a bad experience the last time I came here. I decided to give it a try again and I was not disappointed this time around. It gets pretty busy. But I think the wait is worth it especially considering the food is so yummy and the portions are huge. The restaurant is very country style themed. They were playing some great bangers and I love the red plaid table tops and the old diner style themed bar. Upon entering, you order at the front, and they give you a number/tracking device to bring to an empty table that you choose. Their menu is extensive and has something for everyone. There's some delicious sides to complement the main meal, which I equally enjoyed just as much. My boyfriend ordered the country fried chicken smothered in delicious sawmill gravy with a side of green beans and bacon and mashed potatoes. I ordered the bbq pork ribs (they don't come in a half portion I think, so I got an entire rack) with Mac and cheese and mashed potatoes. The drinks were also delicious and refreshing to go well with the meals. We got the passion fruit and orange drink. It was sweet, but it wasn't too crazy sweet. It was the perfect amount. I actually ended up eating my entire meal and I was relatively surprised at how creamy and delicious the Mac and cheese was. It was plain and simple, nothing crazy added in, but that's what I enjoyed the most. The ribs were wonderful too. It wasn't anything like fall off the bone. You still had to work and get messy eating the meat off the bones, but that's the true beauty of eating good ribs. It was the definition of "finger licking lip smacking" good! Highly recommend it. I didn't order dessert but they do offer free soft serve ice cream near the exit if you're in the mood for it. I didn't get a chance to eat any, as I was just so incredibly full already. I could sit at Mia's Table every day it's so damn good. Country cookin for real. First time there. Been trying to get to this restaurant since it opened. Finally, some friends of mine thought it would be great to dine there. The concept reminds me of Rudy's BBQ. You order in the front but they bring you the food to your table. Flatware, napkins and condiments are on you. I love that they have a Sunday and ice cream bar. That's so great. I ordered the famous Chicken Fried Steak with Mash Potatoes gravy and black eyed peas. Just roll me out there please. So good. I was not able to finish my plate but it made for a great lunch the next day. Bathrooms were nice and clean. Thank you. Mia's Table exceeded our expectations! We ordered their chicken fried steak and chicken fried chicken, extra jalapeno cream gravy of course, and sides of mac n cheese and coleslaw. Their bison burger, all the classic toppings, crispy fries on the side. And last but not least their grilled chicken sandwich that had the most delicious sun-dried tomato pesto spread and sweet potato fries. Finish things off with a complimentary cup or cone of their creamy vanilla soft serve, and anyone will have thoroughly enjoyed their meal here! My only complaint being that the prices are a little high especially for it being counter service. But all the workers were quite friendly so it makes up for it a little. I really enjoyed my lunch here! This place has been open for about 2 months now, and my family and I have been meaning to try it. It was packed for lunch on a Saturday so it was pretty apparent that this was a popular lunch spot. One star down for the prices overall especially for a counter service establishment. However although the place was busy for lunch rush, our meals were delivered in a timely manner. For my lunch I chose the grilled chicken sandwich. It came with a sun dried tomato spread which had a slight sweetness and included crispy sweet potato fries. It was a decent size and very tasty I also sampled my aunt's chicken fried steak which also was a nice size, had just the right amount of breading, and their gravy was delicious as well. Staff was very friendly and willing to help diners find an open table. We noticed they have an open bar but didn't try it this time. Also be sure to try their free ice cream!
