The appetizers we got (Brussels Sprouts and Spinach Artichoke Dip) were both okay, though I prefer garlic bread to the chip for the dip and the sprouts were a little one note. The whiskey cake itself was very good, though I recommend only one plate for a group of 6 or less because of how rich it is, especially if you get the ice cream addition. Overall a very surprising experience, and while it carries a heavy price tag, it is absolutely a good choice if you're looking for a nicer meal out here.

I ordered the Prime Brisket Combo with smoked beans and coleslaw. Oh my goodness! I had never tasted brisket so tender and flavorful--it practically melted in my mouth like butter. Just thinking about it makes my mouth water! The house-made BBQ sauces were delicious too--I tried every single one! The smoked beans, coleslaw, and bread were all wonderful. Hunter took excellent care of us and was very helpful explaining the dishes and drinks. Toward the end, Jonny also came by and kindly treated us to an apple dessert with vanilla ice cream that was absolutely delicious! The country décor, music, family atmosphere, and warm hospitality made the whole experience even more special. I returned to California already dreaming about coming back!
