When you leave Athena's you leave with your belly full and a smile on your face knowing you had a great authentic meal! We tried the lamb chops and the slow cooked lamb AND moussaka because I just couldn't leave without trying it. Ms. Brandy let us know it was a big portion and she was right! We took two bites and had to pack it to go. Regardless it was delicious! We are excited to come back perhaps for their brunch such a nice and welcoming establishment I love the cleanliness :)

We're back, and we couldn't be more excited! Join us this Wednesday for half-priced bottles of wine. It's the perfect excuse to savor delicious Greek food alongside a great glass of wine. Honestly, what could be better? Go and enjoy every moment!

This place does Greek the way Greek should be done. Not only was the food perfect, but the ambiance and service was spot on. I enjoyed everything I tasted, but be warned the Athena's Veggie Chips (crispy zucchini & eggplant chips served with tzatsiki) are addictive. Try not to eat them all before your food comes, you WILL want room for your meal. My daughter and I shared them along with the 3 Dip Sampler (Tzatsiki, Hummus and Tirokafteri served with pita). The Tzatski tasted so good, it was hard to not eat it all (I love the stuff). This was a lot of food, and it was just the appetizer, so we had plenty to take home with us. I had the Gyro Plate (Slices of lamb & beef with Greek salad, served with pita bread) and she had the special of the day, unfortunately I forgot the name of her dish. Nevertheless, my daughter said the chicken was amazing and some of the best she had ever had. We both loved it so much, we went back for more the next day, because she claimed her sister needed to try it too. Excellent decision in my opinion :) And we will be back very soon, because there is much more to try.

Cozy spot in Seabrook with great service, a full bar and delicious Greek food! I heard a lot of hype around it so I went with a friend and it hit the spot. Looking forward to going back again. They do half off wine bottles on Tuesday and Wednesday and have a lunch menu with specials. Prices are very reasonable.

Start to finish this is one of the best meals we have had lately. The food is exceptional and the service delightful. We started with the spicy feta dip- delectable! We ended with the special dessert for two with phyllo and custard. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. We will be back!

I was craving grilled Octopus and this place had the best I have ever had! It was cooked perfectly! The service was excellent and the Avgolemono Soup and chicken Santorini was delicious! The 1/2 price wine today was the cherry On top!

I like Greek food. This was fair. The proportions were average. It is in the neighborhood if you're in the mood for Greek.

My husband and I decided to share a small Greek salad, the Pasta Aglio and the Baklava cheese. The salad and pasta were both delicious, light yet filling and plenty for the two of us to share. The salad actually had SUPER green lettuce leaves, which was such a pleasant surprise. However, the Baklava cheesecake was pretty disappointing. It was a giant piece of plain cheesecake that had toppings on it from what seemed like a piece of baklava cake. Those toppings disappeared pretty quickly and that left us with a bunch of plain cheesecake. We were expecting the baklava flavors to be swirled into the cheesecake, which is why we found this to be disappointing. The service was pretty slow, which was surprising considering it was pretty empty as it was a Sunday night. Otherwise, it was a good experience and we would return if we ever happen to find ourselves in the area again.

It took away the taste of the orzo. I also took home baklava and the baklava cheesecake. Both were delicious. My husband doesn't normally eat cheesecake, but thought he would give this a try. He really liked it bc it was fluffier and not as dense as other restaurants. He did like the baklava, but thought it was too sweet. I actually enjoyed both desserts.

I tried hers as well, but did not enjoy the texture of the beef; it felt slightly gummy. However, the flavor was good. Everything else was magnificent. We started with the Mediterranean Hummus, which sounded promising. The hummus itself lacked flavor, but the Mediterranean style toppings made it better: feta, sun-dried tomatoes, and olives, served with pitta bread. Then we had a kibbi, which was pretty good. But the tzatziki sauce with a sour cream base... I don't know, not a fan. Sorry. For our main course, we shared a moussaka, which was also pretty good. My husband was expecting basmati rice (something a little more authentic) instead of parboiled rice. My husband had the Turkish coffee, if you like strong coffee this is for you. Not a bad experience overall, but a few tweaks would make a big difference.

Thankfully, my friend had called ahead and asked for a table as we were rolling about 7 folks deep, and we were seated instantly. The place is pretty nondescript located in the same shopping strip as a gas station. They serve your standard Greek fare, but they also get creative and serve things a different way. For instance, we ordered the Greek fajitas, which was pieces of gyro meat with bell peppers, and onions served on a hot sizzling plate. It was very similar to going somewhere and ordering a Gyro plate, but I appreciated the way it was served. The meat was tender and so well seasoned. In my opinion it's hard to get Gyros right, it's easy to dry it out, and often it's too salty. That's not the case here! Around the table people ordered a slew of diverse dishes, and the clear winner was the lamb shank! Next time we go we're getting that. The person who owns this place is incredibly sweet, there was a birthday party at the table next to us, and she came by to us, introduced herself, and explained that when they drop plates to celebrate we are to join in, and yell Opa! Love that some places still do this, it's a cute tradition! Can't wait to go through more of the menu and try again, next time I'm up for a trek!

She said I couldn't order the chef combo anymore. I told her it wasn't 3 yet. She said that they ran out of sides, so it wasn't an option. The message was fine, but the delivery was rude.
