Husband and I enjoyed ourselves on the patio! They have a large patio that is equipped for all seasons and weather conditions. They had music playing, it was not too loud either which is great to have conversations. We loved the fried pita with our delicious fire feta! Has the right amount of spice and flavor! We also had their ribeye, split that along with two Greek salads! The ribeye was cooked to perfection and our salads were fresh and crisp! Alexa was our server and she was amazing! Very polite, friendly, and demure! Definitely recommend Bakkhus and they are a BAFL member, so we received a 15% off of our food discount!!

The first time we were there, the experience was not satisfactory...but after I contacted the restaurant to get promised to make it right and they did. They covered our appetizer and an entree. The fact that they took the effort to fix their mistakes is a very positive aspect.

Food was good. But the fry bread taste like old oil. I eat the traditional hummus and calamari. Drinks were great and music was delighted. Service was fantastic and they are pet friendly. The women's restroom need it little attention.

Very nice staff, Jamie was so delightful and attentive. We tried 3 different appetizers that she recommended, everything was delicious. Nice and spacious place and great outdoor seating.

Steak night was great. Group of 10 and everyone smiling. Mine was a lot of food and taste perfect. Great deal Mondays

This place was AMAZING! Good prices and very tasty food! Christina was server and everything was perfect! Will be back again!

Crawfish

First of all, so many people have recommended this place for crawfish. It is a different kind of flavor that we did not like at all. I guess it's an acquired taste because it's just not it for us. We also ordered the calamari , the cheese appetizer that they bring table side and put a flame to it. And my son in law got the grilled chicken sandwich. Out of everything the calamari I think was the best. Anyway we at least wanted to give it a try since a lot of people recommend it. But we won't go back. So far the best tasting crawfish we have tried outside of Louisiana is crawfish shack in Crosby. Honestly this is a Greek restaurant, stick to the Greek food and leave the crawfish to the Cajuns

First customer at Sunday brunch. Since they weren't busy yet I asked for creamy chipotle on the potatoes. Nice presentation.

This place is Texas-Greek fusion for food and atmosphere. Monday steak night has TONS of regulars. Their soups are extremely underrated. Gyro chili is probably the most unique. They typically have 3-6 available. The fire feta comes as a dip, in the gyro burrito, and in the Trojan Poppers, which is another very unique item. They mix the fire feta with gyro and stuff jalapeños with it. Sunday brunch is not as crowded as other places, and the omelets have unique ingredients available: gyro, jalapeño, fire feta... In general, their feta is WAY better than other places. Their boil for crawfish, crab, and shrimp is very spicy and popular. The patio is nice when the weather is to your liking. There's a big TV behind the bar and another one facing the dining room. Music is usually red dirt or mainstream country. If they have a special, get it!

Update: my husband was throwing up all night after eating this food. Pretty sure it was this food, he started feeling sick shortly after

I was craving a Greek salad with a warm pita so we chose this place for lunch an a Friday. It wasn't real crowded so we were lucky enough to find a close parking spot. We were greeted, seated and served pretty quickly. This is a cute place and staff if friendly. My Greek salad and pita were very good. Hubby ordered the americano burger and Parmesan fries. His fries were excellent as I can attest to. His burger was very dry. He couldn't eat it.

Restaurant Review: The Velvet Quarter 2234 E. NASA Parkway,…read moreSeabrook, TX My friend and I visited The Velvet Quarter with the intention of enjoying a relaxed meal on the patio. When we arrived, we seated ourselves outside, where there was only one other group present. Despite the patio being very small and the waitress coming in and out several times, we were never acknowledged or approached. After waiting for some time, I went inside and spoke with the owner, Adolf. He came out to our table and briefly discussed menu options with us. I asked specifically about the fish and chips, as we were told some dishes were no longer available due to an earlier rush. He said he would go check on that for me--but he never returned. Fifteen minutes later, we still had not received any service. When the waitress came back onto the patio again, I called her over and asked when we might be helped. She told me she "did not see us there," which I found difficult to believe given the size of the patio. After that interaction, she did not return to take our order. I went back inside and spoke with the owner again, this time clearly frustrated. He looked me directly in the eyes, raised both hands, and said, "You can calm down now." He repeated it in a tone that felt condescending and dismissive. I responded, "Thank you for giving me permission to calm down," and at that point, I turned around, walked out, and left with my friend to dine elsewhere. I cannot comment on the quality of the food because we were never served. I can comment on the service, which was extremely poor. On a scale of 1 to 10, I would rate the service a zero. Based on this experience, I will not be returning to The Velvet Quarter.
