Fantastic restaurant. Recently opened, family friendly and good for groups! They have gorgeous ornamental lanterns throughout the restaurant, some tables are made of full wood pieces. Definitely try to get a seat within the main dining area! Service and staff were very kind and timely. Family owned and operated, and feels that way. Phyllo Rolls (4.5/5)- fresh, crispy rolls that are so light they melt on your tongue. Served with a light cheese dipping sauce. Appetizer Platter (5/5) : got the dolmas , hummus, cacik, muammara. Very well done on the basics and fundamentals. Dolma is tightly packed, dense and grape leaves are flavorful. Manti (4/5): I could not stop eating these little dumplings! They were smaller than expected but the yogurt topping and sauce were delicious. They're packed with meat, and the dough is a bit thick so it felt like mostly thick dough Iskendar Kabob (4/5): one of the most interesting dishes I've hadx the sauce soaks into the later of bread at the bottom, and the meal is so thinly sliced and flavorful it makes for a wonderful texture. Mix grill for 1 (3/5) a mix of various shish kabob, with veggie and rice. The rice was a bit wet. Great interior decor, good spacing between tables, and good overall vibe. Food was prepared with care, and obvious attention to quality. Staff were attentive and warm, great service. Authentic. Fresh. Delicious. Went for lunch. The restaurant had a nice crowd. The gentleman we're working in sync with one another, very focused but relaxed. Fresh breads being cut, meat being slayed from the rotisserie, salads being chopped. Everything tasted extremely fresh. No Sysco food here! You get the real thing. My daughter and I love Mediterranean Foods so when we drove by this restaurant we agree that we will try that restaurant,the same day we ended up having an early dinner there.As you walk in you'll be amazed with the Middle Eastern vibes with gorgeous light fixtures and chandelier. The restaurant is very spacious and neat.We are given water as we sat down and the server is very helpful,friendly and attentive to most of the customer's needs in the table (I forgot his name but he is the best). This is an upscale Mediterranean venue, not your typical gyro place. We have been a couple of times and generally enjoyed the food. I was particularly wowed by a falafel gyro that I had at a Friday lunch, and otherwise enjoyed the lamb plate. On the other hand, I really wanted a lamb gyro for dinner, but it was not on the menu, I guess because they want to encourage more upscale dishes. Service was good. read more

Chefs Table was such a wonderful surprise! beautifully decorated, spotless, and staffed by some of the friendliest, most attentive people we've met. We started with complimentary focaccia‑style bread and dipping sauce. We started with hummus, which was good. But the star was the mixed grill for two: incredible lamb chops, super tender beef, flavorful chicken, the best rice I've ever had, and a tangy slaw that tied everything together. The platter is huge (easily feeds four), so we happily took leftovers home. With generous portions, great quality, and fair prices, we loved our experience and will definitely be back. read more

Chefs Table! Sooo good. We stopped in for our second visit. Got the Chef's Mixed Grill for two which is a winner especially if you are protein-focused! Four delicious lamb chops and plenty of beef, chicken, kafta, rice, salad and veggies. We ordered the Turkish salad again because it is so darn refreshing. The hummus is smooth and creamy, not garlicky but still fabulous. As always they bring bread and a tasty, spicy tomato-ish dip. The place is so nicely decorated and always clean. We ended with a Turkish tea which is so aromatic and a lovely ending to what is quickly becoming our favorite spot our waitress Poyraz is amazing, so kind and attentive. This establishment is new, clean and family friendly. Great variety on the menu, however for me the flavor was lacking. The grilled chicken wings had no flavor, besides excessive char. This dish has so much potential, too. We also ordered the grilled plate for 2 ppl. Lots of food for 2 people. They sliced us BURNT chicken and served it to us... this was a huge turn off. The person slicing the chicken knew what he was doing too. We returned it and they brought us chicken that was juicy. Service was terrible. We had a group of 10 people and it was like pulling teeth to get some service. We had to stand up a few times and walk to the counter to request things. This was a one & done. read more

Wow great food, nice staff, and pretty restaurant. You realize how fortunate we are that Houston is such a great foodie city. Not just Mediterranean restaurants but different styles of Mediterranean. And this Turkish cuisine is a welcome addition. Some familiar dishes but done in their own way in addition to a lot of their distinctive Turkish menu items. Since we were new to this cuisine we got a mixed meat plate and cold dish samplers. Everything was delicious. Best described as they have the fresh flavors of the ingredients stand out with the Turkish seasonings giving unique tastes with a touch of smokiness. Just be aware the exterior is nice but unassuming tucked in a strip center along Hwy 3. So easy to shoot past it if not watching for it. But the interior is nicely decorated with large comfortable arm chairs at the tables. read more

My husband and I wanted to try something new, so we decided to give Chef's Table a try after seeing so many rave reviews on Facebook. It definitely lived up to the hype! We ordered the mixed grill for two, and it was outstanding. The portions were incredibly generous--we left completely full and still had plenty of leftovers to take home. The fresh bread with the red sauce was also delicious and a perfect way to start the meal. The unique table setup made for a fun dining experience, and the service was excellent from start to finish. I'm Turkish and I love to look for Mediterranean places to eat at and Chef's Table is a hidden gem! This Turkish food was so authentic and incredibly flavorful! The moment you enter you are hit with the delicious smell of the grilled foods and a warm welcome by the beautiful ambiance. It feels like you're transported to Türkiye. Must try's: Ayran (salty yogurt drink) - I believe it's homemade and it's deliciously refreshing complimenting all the food Lentil soup (mercimek çorba) - might be a tad bit on the salty side for some but the lemon juice cuts through it and I loved it (will be back for it) Crispy Filo Rolls (sigara böregi)- NOW THIS IS A MUST! I always order these at Mediterranean/turkish restaurants as it can be very telling about how the food is...and I think Chef's table gets first place , these were incredibly crispy and one of our favorite foods of the night. they didn't hesitate to fill it with their delicious cheese and herbs. Wish I pictured them! Lahamacun (a thin meat pie) - also one of my go to foods when visiting family in Istanbul and this tastes like I was eating in Istanbul. Amazing crisp and char, not dry at all and perfect amount of seasoning. Iskender Kebab - this is the brown butter drenched pide bread topped with gyro/döner, tomato sauce, and creamy yogurt! Sooo tasty! A little bit too much tomato sauce for my liking but it's still worth the try for sure! Beyti/sultan kebab - usually made with Adana beef kebab, we requested Adana chicken kebab instead for my partner and we were so impressed at not only the flavor but how tender it was! He was so happy they had accommodated us with this protein change! We also got some pistachio baklava to-go which was a delicious sweet treat to end the night and that did not disappoint. Also the owners/chefs/staff all speak Turkish too and were so friendly! Overall while it's a little bit pricier than other options, it's very well worth it for the ambiance and especially the food. My partner and I agreed this is probably our favorite restaurant in the Webster/ Nassau Bay Area. Planning to be back to show our friends what real Turkish food tastes like. read more
