Old Fashion (sans tomato and onion)
Adam H.

This is an outstanding burger! One of the best I have experienced in greater Houston. Period. The meat is perfectly seasoned and griddled. The vegetables are fresh. The bun is nicely grilled. And the tots served alongside this masterpiece were hot -- crunchy on the outside with a fluffy interior. Service here is at the counter, and the lady who took our order was very friendly. The restaurant isn't huge, but there are plenty of tables, and everything is clean. I have only one issue with this place: They are only open on weekends!

The Smashburger

It's a small lovely shop in the middle of clear lake with truly one of the best burgers I've ever tasted. It's a lost art. Being a small local shop with a lovely feel, speedy service, and a good product. I'd say it's a top 5 burger I've ever had. On pure taste alone. Come here.

If a restaurant is only open two days a week, it better be good. Luckily, Durbs doesn't just meet expectations; it smashes them.We brought a small army of eight hungry family members, and every single person left thrilled. Most of us targeted the smash burgers paired with crispy tots or fries--absolute perfection. The rest of the crew ordered the fried shrimp, which honestly might be the greatest thing to happen to seafood this century. The operational flow is delightfully seamless: order at the counter, sit back, and enjoy the cinematic wall art while the incredibly friendly staff brings your feast directly to the table. The hand-painted movie memorabilia gives the space an undeniable personality and charm. It is rare to find a family-owned operation that nails food, service, and ambiance all at once. Durbs is a weekend-only treasure. Do yourself a favor and plan your next Saturday around them!

Bulgogi fried and Rodeo Burger

Listen Durbs did not disappoint at all.I couldn't stop to take a proper picture lol!!! Fantastic food and customer service to match. This Rodeo Burger was crafted to the T. Fantastic sear on the patties and crafted amazingly. Then the gentleman who owns the spot came out and talked to us and gifted me his seasoning blend. I can't tell you how great this experience was. We will BE BACK FOR SURE! Thankyou so much and I wish blessings and future success as the years come and go

Love, love Durbs so good The burgers were hot and fresh and so good. Mushroom and Swiss vs the cowboy burger! Both were 10/10

Food is so good I'm leaving a review while eating lol. I got the smash burger and husband got the cowboy. Burgers are big, fries are delicious and crunchy, and mozzarella sticks are surprisingly tasty. 10/10 recommend and get the hype I read about!

Mushroom Swiss Burger w/ fries

Had a fantastic time at Durb's with a group of buddies. The burgers were delicious! The main menu is double-smash burgers with different cheeses and toppings. Buttery goodness all over, and the buns were good too! One friend also got the "chopped cheese sandwich" ~ burger meat and cheese sandwich - and would definitely order again. Fries were pretty good too, and the local sauce was pretty flavorful. Service is ordered at the bar, and BYOB (although they sell a few drinks too) Finally: Our burger snob friend rated 8.7/10 (for reference, Gordon Ramsey's burger was a 7.0)

The Smash and Cowboy burgers were amazing! We picked up a togo order, when I opened the box the burger looked small but no way. It was huge I couldn't hardly finish half of it. We also got the buffalo dip it was really tasty too. Will go back for sure! Quick counter service very nice staff.

Durb's is a new comer to the area, a hole in the wall you might miss in a common strip center. however the interior has a garden/industrial chic vibe i didnt expect! this place is known for its smash burger, which my partner raved about. not many choices for gluten free (no lettuce wrap, no gf bun) so i settled on the special frito pie. the chili was rich and flavorful with home made queso on top. it was missing some pizazz though, some chopped red onion and jalapeños would go a long way. drink prices were slightly high (2.50 for a 12 oz gatorade). service was pretty fast. we will be back if ever in the area! next to try is the elote dog which looked delicious.

Food always amazing, family and locally owned. Always recommend for burger lovers but their chopped cheese is to die for.

Since Bojangles set up shop in the Houston area, I had the chance to visit at least one location…read more And I was able to see what the hype was all about. It used to be that I had to travel at least 15 miles from my place to the Bojangles in Webster, but with the opening of a branch in League City, I don't have to worry about getting caught in traffic doing so. So anyway, I've dug the restaurant since the first time I tried it last year. The Carolinas export not only excels at the chicken strip game, but it's the only poultry place where you could order dirty rice. Its biscuit puts Church's to shame. Tuesday is traditionally when chicken eateries roll out specials, and Bo has a BOGO three-piece special. How it works is, if you buy one, you get the other free. Not bad, right?

Why, Bojangles? Why are you trying to be Cane's with your chicken strip-only menu? And why the hell…read moredid you drop the apostrophe from your name? Ugh! I can't speak on the ambiance of the dining room, because this was a to-go order. Despite that the website -- based on my location -- showed bone-in chicken as an option, the lady at the drive-thru was polite in delivering the bad news. That said... This joint was out of mashed potatoes at around 6:30 on a weeknight. These are instant potatoes. Why? The mac & cheese was OK; the slaw was better than most, because the cabbage wasn't finely sliced; and the dirty rice was somewhat flavorful but gummy. If the biscuits here are "famous," it's only because they are spongy. I made better biscuits when I was a 12-year-old on a Boy Scout campout. -- The chicken strips are fine. Nothing memorable, but served fresh on my visit. The management at this location isn't the greatest. Perhaps they were having a bad day. More importantly, the person in the corporate marketing department who decided that bone-in chicken shouldn't be an option in this neck of the woods might want to collaborate with colleagues at other chicken chains that have realized great national success AND include strips on the menu. But, if you look at the history of Bojangles, you'll see that this company has passed through more hands than a deck of cards at a poker table. Good luck enjoying the offerings here.

Great food. A little slow but worth the wait. Nice patio are. Good place for birthdaysread more

It's really hard for me to write this review & I'm teetering between 2 & 3 stars, BUT kindness goes…read morea long way with me so I'm giving 3. I've been wanting to try Main St. Bistro, so when my sister suggested it for Easter, I was down. We had a party of 7 (5 adults, 2 kids). We got there around 1:00 on Easter Sunday & didn't have to wait long even though it was busy. A man took our drink order. My brother-in-law asked to go ahead & order two appetizers. Our waitress, Natalie, came shortly after, introduced herself & confirmed the appetizers. We were brought 4 small cubes of banana bread, which felt weird since there were 7 of us. My toddler & my niece both had a whole one. The other two were split between 4 adults. My brother-in-law didn't have any. The appetizers came out fairly quickly & were gone just as fast. We finally ordered right at 2:00 after a little wait & indecisiveness. Then my son was done sitting in a highchair. My husband and brother-in-law took the kids outside. They played for a bit & walked two laps around the whole strip center. They came back, still no food. My son had a complete meltdown since he was both hungry & now tired, my brother-in-law asked if there was any way they could just rush my son's food. They did and he started eating, everyone was so hungry that they had some bites of his food as well. My mom went to ask the manager if our food was close to being ready. The answer was no, there was a whole list of orders ahead of ours. The manager was kind enough to bring us some spinach dip & apologized for the wait, explaining she was dreading today because the kitchen wasn't equipped for the Easter crowd. She assured us that they were working as fast as possible & we appreciated her honesty & effort. My mom went to her car & asked us to let her know when her food came. Our food finally started arriving at 3:17, and not all at once. My sister's meal came last. By this time my son was done & was getting restless while we had JUST started eating. The food itself was disappointing. My sister and I both ordered Benedicts. Mine (Boudin Benny) wasn't hot and was mushy instead of seared. Both of our poached eggs were undercooked. My sister's also had a large amount of cream cheese that wasn't listed and didn't taste good. Other issues: my mom's fries were cold, my brother-in-law said his chicken fried steak was no good. He ate it because he was hungry, and while my husband liked his sandwich & was happy with it, his fries were cold. My niece enjoyed her burger. My son's shrimp, fries, & macaroni were all hot and good... likely because they were rushed for him. It was 3:45 by the time we left. They close at 3. We received a 40% discount, but there was also a 20% automatic gratuity added, which some in our party didn't expect. Here's where they earn stars back... Natalie was great! She took great care of us & kept apologizing for the delay. We could tell that she felt bad, but it was not her fault. The manager also came by checking on us multiple times & got us settled as best she could. She brought us spinach dip while we waited & she made sure that my toddler got food very quickly after being asked about it. She did thank us multiple times for our kindness & patience. As did Natalie. I too, was appreciative of the kindness they showed us. Most of us have all worked in food service before & we understand that the wait staff can only do so much. We also understand being slammed in the kitchen & how fast paced they have to work in order to handle rushes. I appreciate the 40% discount... 20% after the tip. This review was based on one trip & I will update my review if/when I return. But this visit was definitely not a great experience & if it weren't for the kindness, I'd be leaving one star.
