Yum! I have driven by Hubcap several times and told my husband we needed to try it. We stoped for lunch. So many options! The cheese curds were hot and crispy! Delicious! I ordered a classic cheeseburger because why not? I am an onion ring lover so had to do those vs fries. The onion rings are 100! I would go just to get the onion rings. Burger was great as well. Very neat and nice to chill at! Their burgers are alright they could have more seasonings to them but still very good, same for their fries, they are a little soggy however they aren't too shabby. Food took a little to get out HOWEVER food quality was very pleasant and nice to have which makes up for the time, they have a variety of food and drinks to choose from and the people here are very friendly and nice! This place is fairly new, so I hope they used these type of reviews to improve. The atmosphere is chill, and I can see why people would come here just to hang out and sit at the bar. The bar was the highlight of this place beside they had a respectable selection of bourbons, including Buffalo Trace products like Blantons, Wellar Antique Reserve, and Buffalo Trace. The service also deserves high marks because the hostess and waiter were very friendly. The food is underwhelming. For a burger place, I expected better quality buns and burgers that wowed me. The menu looked promising, but the photos were better than the actual meal. I had the Philly Cheese steak burger. The steak meat was good, but the hamburger meat was nothing special. I also had the Buffalo fries. They were fine, but I didn't find them unique from any other place that has these kind of fries. read more

I had such high hopes for this place. The place looks like an amazing place to hang out and have some beers and relax. Was finally able to make it in and was astonished by the unique menu and all the options. Didn't want to get too crazy so I went with the mushroom Swiss burger and buffalo fries. I couldn't finish half of it. The burger was too salty and I'm not sure why. The fries had a weird tang to them. I can't say the entire menu is like this and I will give me another chance at some point but first impressions were not very good. I do hope they get better, three really good burgers is better than 25 crazy burgers that don't make the cut. The staff was friendly and food did come quick. I have been a long-time diner of Hubcap Grill for many years. In fact I used to get so excited to visit their Heights location. I loved all their unique burger and fries creations. But this location was a let down. I don't think it's the location as much it is something else. The staff was nice enough. With the place being new, they definitely have some kinks to work out but that is understandable and to be expected. The let down is the food. Yes, I sadly say this to hopefully help out the owners. I'm not sure if when they expanded to different locations, if they lost consistency or if new management took over and changed things. The burger meat used to be mouthwatering beefy delicious. Now, it's bland. No flavor! Of course they are covering up the bland meat with all the "fixins", but that doesn't help. Especially since I know better. And the fixins are not the quality they used to be. Quality has gone down. Even the bun quality is dry! I hope they can get it together because I want them to make it. But with Dorecks meat market right up the road, with fresh quality and delicious burgers, they are going to have a tough time staying afloat. read more

Thursday April 10 2025 Well I write this regrettable to say that I so liked this place for going to at lunch and sometimes evenings for dinner....sitting outdoors and the beautiful weather.....food is awesome from hamburgers...esp the special....good ole timey drive-in burger of the past....My most ordered item is the Greek Salad w/grilled chicken on top..... Well after todays experience and the response of the waiter who knows I frequent the place....had my Greek Salad and the music was soooooo loud and the Head bagging type....I tolerated it and on my way out I asked her if she thought people liked that kind of music?....without hesitation and almost in a irritated response....YES....I responded don't think I will be coming back...her response Oh well sorry to hear that..... So....I will leave it to the head bangers to give them their business....sad but the community they are in is very much a predominate country listening crowd.
