    Pork Valdostana

We have ordered pizza from here several times in the past. This was our first time dining inside. We were seated immediately and the staff was friendly. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and is clean. We were given some bread and seasoned olive oil as a pre dinner snack. I asked for some balsamic to add to the oil. The bread was cold and maybe could have been given a light toast to warm it up. I ordered the Pork Valdostana. This was delicious. I had never heard of this before and felt adventurous. I would have loved to give 5 stars however, we were kind of forgotten by our waitress. We waited a long time for refills on our drinks. We finally asked a very nice woman, the one passing out the bread, and she asked our waitress for our refills. We also ordered Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo, this came with fried chicken, not sure if grilled is an option. Baked Ziti, and San Gerrero (Sausage and Peppers). Thank you for a delicious meal.

My family and I have been coming to Gios pizza for years! We love their pizza, salad, and pasta. The service is great and it is a calm ambiance. We always go around late dinner time. Can't wait to go back again!

It's been awhile since I've ordered from Gio's. We had pepperoni pizza, all meat calzone, Italian sandwich, burger( I know right lol but my boy loves their burger), cheesecake and chocolate mousse for pick up and everything was delish! The owner we assumed was super friendly and packed our food well!

Tasted great! I think Gio's food will inspire Sicily to shape up a couple of notches. Great service on a holiday. Staff was pleasant...you know no one wanted to work on the 4th. There weren't many diners, probably for obvious reasons. We will definitely be back!

Eggplant Parmesan At least I remembered to take the picture before it was all gone...

We are regulars here at Gio's. They have many great menu items. My absolute favorite is the eggplant Parmesan. Of all the Italian restaurants we visit, it is consistently the absolute best. It is so delicious I always forget to take a picture before I dig in.

As always the service and food was great. Eggplant parmigiana with a side of meatballs. We will back soon.

Service was great! Margherita pizza was delicious; crust was crispy and not burnt, basil and tomato was fresh!

My tea was yummy, the fried calamari was HOT and crispy, and my pizza was amazing!!! The bathrooms were well maintained and didn't smell bad. The restaurant started to pop after we came in and even though they were busy, they still refilled my drink and checked up on the table!

I had the pizza blanco and my Son got the spaghetti! The pizza was amazing, they give you bread and oil To wait because the cook your pizza fresh. One of the best pizzas ever!! Loved it! Our waited was attentive and kind. Great place to eat in Dickinson!

    Chicken parmigiana lunch

We went for lunch before New Years and I opted for the pick 3 lunch combo. The salad with balsamic dressing was fresh and tasty. The half sausage and peppers hoagie was also good but the Italian Wedding soup wad terrible. It has no taste and resembled a canned soup. We eat here often and this is not the typical experience - I would steer from this particular soup. My husband had tried and enjoyed the tomato basil before and I suspect the pasta fagiole is also good. My husband got his typical chicken parmigiana which is huge and consistently good. Service is prompt and atmosphere is fairly intimate yet casual.

    Chicken parmigiana with fettuccini alfredo

Came here with friends on a busy Friday night. Very family-friendly restaurant with a lively atmosphere. Super busy. Our waiter, Brandon, was friendly even though it was clear that all the servers were in the weeds. My husband and I ordered the beef cannelloni and the chicken parmigiana. I had the spaghetti substituted with fettuccini alfredo. We also ordered a bruschetta for the table. We first got complimentary bread and olive oil, which was a nice teaser. The olive oil mixed with garlic and other herbs was excellent. We waited a while for our appetizer, and it arrived along with our entrees. The bruschetta was also served in a way that was weird to us: the bread is separate from the tomatoes/cheese toppings. It tasted all right but it wasn't anything special. Also, by then, we were onto entrees, so what was the point of the appetizer? The chicken parmigiana was very good. Generous portion, came out hot, well-seasoned. The fettuccini alfredo was bad. The sauce is watery and flavorless. For an additional $1.99 to replace the side spaghetti was definitely not worth it. A friend of mine ordered an entire bowl of fettuccini alfredo with chicken and she said the same about the sauce. Chicken, good. Sauce, not so good. My husband's beef cannelloni was good, he said. Overall, the food was meh. Some highs, some lows. Brandon, who we never saw after our food arrived, came by towards the end of the meal to refill drinks (most of our glasses were empty by then), and he refilled my husband's Diet Coke with Dr. Pepper. Weirdly, not one person came by to pick up any used or empty plates that we'd conveniently placed at the edge of the table. Yeah, it was time to go. I don't think I will return to Gio's, at least not for dining in. Maybe their take-out pizza is better. Maybe they were just having an off-night. Maybe they're short-staffed. Maybe I'll just go to the Olive Garden next time.

For a place that brands itself as a premium New York pizzeria and kitchen, serving this kind of food is completely unacceptable. The quality was incredibly poor, and the prices are a total overcharge for what you actually get. To be honest, what they delivered barely resembled an authentic pizza. it looked and tasted exactly like a cheap, cardboard frozen pizza you'd buy at a grocery store for a few bucks. If you are going to charge premium prices, you need to deliver premium quality. I will absolutely never order from here again, and I strongly recommend looking elsewhere in League City if you want actual, quality Italian food. Total disappointment.

My family and I came here for a late lunch consisting of two big supreme pizzas and mango habanero wings. The wings came first. On first bite, my tongue was greeted by a short, spicy burst that eventually gave way to a more tangy taste. They were pretty sizable as well. Unlike certain pizza places that are frugal with their chicken, Luigis does right those of us whose love them some poultry. The pizza is a certified winner in that it's baked fresh. Close to crispy crust, cheese and sauce meshing well, and lots of toppings. I don't know the method as to how the pies were baked, but I was glad there wasn't that smoky aftertaste. Because of its fairly large size, I was full after a couple of slices. I inquired about their delivery service. They don't have anyone in-house who performs deliveries, but they partner with DoorDash. I have to check my app because I'd sure love to enjoy some Luigis at home.

The pizza was soggy and should've tasted better. The beer was served to me half full of foam and the manager legit tried to serve it like that. When I mentioned "That's not a full beer." She replied "I guess I could let the foam drop down and fill it up." When she came back it still wasn't "topped off" and was flat. That happened last time I went in, but I wasn't going to bother with it. But this time, at $8.00 a pint I am bothering with it. It was dead; No one asked if everything was ok.
