Pipeline Combination and Spinach and Artichoke. Delicious!!
Lucas m.

Pretty much had the place to ourselves around opening on Saturday. Ordered a large Pipeline combination and a large spinach and artichoke. Pizza came out perfect, cheesy and crispy, a very nice surprise since usually we go to the other place across the street. Have to say coming from a meat lover, but that spinach and artichoke was the star. We ordered without the onions and it still delivered with this creamy freshness that popped at every bite. Service never missed a beat with promptness and hospitality. The restaurant had the feel of a pizza parlor and was very clean. Definitely became a fan of Pipeline Pizza and looking forward to our next visit.

This place is a hidden gem, deep in the heart of Pasadena! The service is seriously amazing! Every single employee today was super nice and went out of their way to make sure my family and I had everything we needed to enjoy our meal. Hats off to the owner of this beautiful establishment! The place was super clean and neat and loved the decor and ambiance of the restaurant! The workers were so nice and served us with a smile! It's nice to see teenagers going out of their way to make every guest feel welcomed which is something special about this place! Please make sure to stop by and enjoy a nice pie with them Food was excellent and the cucumber drink was an excellent choice recommended by our server. Will be back again this weekend

Great food, great pizza, and great for the community! They offered a free pizza to federal workers during the govt shutdown. It was much appreciated! Service was excellent, and the food tasted great! We had the combination pizza, garlic parmesan wings, and BBQ ribs. All of the food was fresh and flavorful. Highly recommended!

Hurricane Harvey took its toll on Pasadena, but I'll tell you that Pipeline Pizza was opening its doors to serve the people! We came here the Tuesday after Harvey, the first day that rain actually stopped falling! We were greeted by a super friendly staff ready to make pizza! We ordered pepperoni rolls, stuffed pizza rolls, a cheese pizza, and a custom pizza of my husband's choosing (and everything was around $40 which I don't think is too pricey for the whole lot of food we got). We got drinks, and wow! They have a special brand of soda, Stubborn, and these aren't your average sodas! The family favorite was the Agave Vanilla Cream Soda, god grief that was good! They had TV's all around the dining area, they showed mostly sports but there was one with local news coverage of Houston and it's trillions of gallons of water. The wait was pretty fast, we got everything withing about 15-20 minutes. My pepperoni rolls were awesome, and I don't generally like pepperoni anything! My youngest daughter LOVED the stuffed cheese rolls (that was literally all she would eat), but the pizza was awesome. I mean, I've never been here and had bad food, but the pizza was just really good. I like the crust. The large cheese pizza was a chin crust, but it wasn't that cardboard kind of crust. It was firm but had just enough give to make me crave another slice. Everything was good. I recommend anyone to try this Pasadena pizza gem.

Great small pizza place tucked away in a strip center in Pasadena. They have your standard pizza fare, as well as more inventive pizzas like the Lost City Volcano that has chorizo and doritos on it. On my most recent trip I had the Roustabout Pizza that is made with Mozzarella, chicken, garlic, basil and tomatoes with an alfredo cream sauce (instead of tomato sauce). The crust was thin and very crispy and the toppings were fresh and plentiful -- no skimping. Service was quick. They have pick-up service too.

We tried their "pizza dip" and it was not bad.

Pipeline doesn't have a good location. They have standard pizza and inventive pizza. Prices are OK. All in all, pizza was great and I wouldn't mind coming again with family or friends. Updates: The area hasn't changed, but their menu has. They now offer more pizza and different menu items. Pipeline now has wraps, wings, ribs, different appetizers, more desserts, customized pizza, cal zones, cheese bread, salad and pasta. In the mail when we got their new menu, there were coupons inside that had great deals for ordering out. Everything was hot and fresh, my mom loved her grilled chicken manicotti. Personally, the sauce was sweet which shouldn't be the way it is for manicotti. My dad's wrap was huge and packed. Pipeline Pizza's bread was still a delight. The next time we order from them, we need to try their desserts.

Not as good as it used to be. I used to hype this place up. Last time I got their combo pizza and wings which were delicious! Today I opted for the shrimp and chicken alfredo and wasn't as pleased. They used to give cheese bread with the order now it's just really bland breadsticks. The chicken was dry, there was hardly any sauce and what it did have was so bland, watery, desperately needed cheese. The salad was fresh as usual. This place used to be imo the best pizza and pasta you could find in Pasadena, fortunately there's a Spankys across the street now.

Pizza was ok I guess. I ordered the Hawaiian on plain crust and it seems more like thin crust to me.

Ivett's Italian Grill - 2025 - visit 2 of 2 - Over the years I've visited, their manicotti is very reliable and I come in for it

Updates of Texan eateries I like (1 of 2)…read more The food, the service, the small store ambiance, the parking situation, and the value are still excellent at Ivett's in League City. There should be no need to write an update. I see that my initial review was written about 5 years ago. This is about how they handle the transferral of totaled tabs to the credit card. When I go to the Houston area, I usually eat lunch at Ivett's twice a week - yes, it's that good. And it's doable because I tend to stay in their "Bay Area," which is south of the city near Space Center Houston and in the suburbs adjacent to large Galveston Bay. Here's what the deal is, and this happened last year and a year or two before that. When I get the bill, it's usually a number that has cents attached to it, thus an "uneven" sort of number. To this, I add a tip. If the final bill were to be $12.72, for example, I might add $2.28 to bring it to an even $15.00. (I've asked restaurant employees over the years if this is weird and they tell me they have customers who do this.) Fast forward to the charge hitting the credit card. In 2025, one charge went through a meaningless few cents higher and one charge went through without the tip altogether. I've never worked in a restaurant, so I don't know how the process works where the final bill is sent over to the credit card company. In this situation, I came out ahead. But that's not the point. I want the employees who were my servers to get their tips and get what I indicated on the copy that I signed. This same exact sort of scenario showed up a year or two before when I also visited twice ... with one lunch charge coming across without the tip. Another lunch charge must have been processed with an even dollar amount as the tip. Again, I came out ahead, if you even want to look at it that way, but I want the employee to get his or her tip. The price-quality-quantity here remains at 5 stars. That's why I have filed Ivett's away in my head. I've now landed on the pattern of lunch specials that I like in any given week - a chicken dish and the manicotti dish, so I come in for those. I did try the lasagna once and, since this is in the U.S. of A. and not fine dining, they use the thicker undulating sheets of pasta that I'm not a fan of. It's to be understood. It's what most Italian-American restaurants do. That dish might come in as a 4. I applaud Ivett's for being a small restaurant that is intent on serving its customers and its community. However, if the tip for that one customer's meal is $2.28, $2.74, or $3.11 because the customer is seeking to hit a "normal" looking final number, then it's $2.28, $2.74, or $3.11. And, if they don't enter the tip at all, then I feel bad because the employee didn't get their tip and it makes me feel cheap ... cheaper than I already am to some people. Fix this little clerical issue by instructing your employees how to do so ... and keep up the good work! I look forward to seeing you all (translation: y'all) the next time I'm in the area.

So, we went to Frenchies Italian Restaurant and pleasantly surprised by the excellent meal and service. We had Chicken Parm, Veal Parm, and Seafood Fradiavolo. Growing up in Brooklyn, I certainly know good Italian food. We live a few miles from Sal & Judy's Italian Restaurant which is outside New Orleans and rated 5 Stars (Yelp) and Zagat. Sal greets everyone that comes in and their marinara sauce is sold in all the local supermarkets and Walmart. Frenchies was no different from Sal's. Everything was perfect! I told Sal and he went to eat at Frenchies on his last trip to Houston. He called me and thanked me, that's Sal. I was sad Franco's closed after 50 years in Clear Lake but Frenchies was a great find. If you're ever on the North Shore outside New Orleans, try Sal & Judy's Italian Restaurant and decide if they're equally as good. Or, take a look at their website! Everyone in NOLA knows Sal Impastato (from Sicily). If you find yourself near Little Italy in Brooklyn. NY try Evelina, Barano, or Carmentas Italian Restaurants. The Prosciutto & Pinenut pesto was excellent with the right amount of salt and attitude! The chicken skewers had a beautiful presentation. The bartender Hailey, that took my order was MIA after she took my order. She spent all her time having a long conversation with the hostess. I cut my visit short because the hostess was so loud and unprofessional! She went on at length about how she and her siblings don't look alike! She even described in detail how she and her sister took a trip to Costa Rica and someone mistook her sister for a girlfriend. Shen then said she showed someone a picture of her co-worker who looked more like a sister than her sibling. Ashley took over from Hailey and did a good job. The restroom cleanliness could have been improved since the floor did seem a little dirty to me. When it comes to the food, we got the honey ricotta cheese dip which was an 8.5/10 for me, it was light, creamy, and sweet that got to be paired with toasted bread. They do have a variety of wines to choose from and the $8 glass of house red is definitely a steal for that price. For the mains, I got the margherita pizza and my girlfriend got the Texas filet (medium cooked) with risotto. My pizza was decent but I felt like there was too much chopped garlic on it that sometimes overpowered the other flavors. My girlfriend had some parts in her steak that were rare which she was not a fan of. We did also get the New York cheesecake which kind of was the highlight besides the ricotta cheese dip.
