My husband and I met the owner Amir, he was super friendly and knows his regulars. Miranda was our waitress and she was great! We ordered the large Greek salad and added chicken as our appetizer. It was very fresh and enough to share. I decided on the Build Your own pasta with shrimp, linguine, basil, olive oil, mushrooms, and roasted garlic. It was delicious! The shrimp wasn't skimped on and cooked perfect. The noodles could've been on the saltier side to give it some flavor. Not a big deal. I fixed that by adding some salt and a lot of red chili peppers to it! My husband ordered the Chicken Fettuccine Alfredo. I like that their garlic knots weren't greasy from all the butter and just the right consistency of not too soft or hard. We also ordered a large custom pizza that included 6 toppings for take out for my parents. The pizza was baked perfectly and generous with the toppings. It was very good and I loved how it wasn't greasy either. I told the owner I have a suggestion to open up a location in Humble where we live. The Pizza Lounge is so much better than Italiano's. It's definitely the best Italian restaurant in Pasadena. If you haven't been give them a try, you won't be disappointed. We'll be back soon since our office isn't too far. read more

Stopped by after seeing the reviews and it was so worth it! Love the rustic/parlor vibe. Was greeted by a lovely host and we were served by the owner himself. He was very attentive and friendly, gave us a wonderful experience. We were first served complimentary garlic knots with olive oil which were AMAZING! Super soft and fresh. We asked for a second order. Our first appetizer was the mozzarella wedges which had a delicious crust and stretchy cheese! Ordered a 6 piece buffalo bone-in and 6 piece lemon pepper bone-in wings. The buffalo sauce was excellent, not too tangy or too spicy. The lemon pepper sauce was very fresh and even tasted homemade! Also wasn't too strong on the taste, just right. I've only ordered from here twice via website for pizza pickup only so I can't say much on personal experience with ambiance but when I walked in, the place makes you feel cozy/ at home. The decor is so unique and the seating is spacious. After walking in, you're greeted immediately by warm and helpful workers even if you walk in 10 minutes before closing for pickup ( definitely was craving pizza at the wrong time but they definitely satisfied it).. The reviews stated the pizza was "amazing". Sounded good so I placed my order. Upon opening the box, I was happy to see that the pizza looked really good. I ordered a pepperoni, sausage and mushroom pizza. The meats and cheese looked well baked and there was even a little char on the crust, which I really like. Unfortunately, that's where the positives ended. When I picked up my first slice, it totally flopped. The crust was chewy (not good), and the cheese was rubbery, not stringy (not good). Taste was bland. You can tell the ingredients are not high quality. The pizza wasn't terrible, but no where near amazing. Honestly Costco and Sam's pizzas are better. read more
