First, I would like to acknowledge this is a small business, who appears to be struggling with a customer base. It's a very quaint little business with a lot of character, which I quite enjoyed. I assumed a great judge of the business would be to order a Traditional Gyro sandwich, and gauge my experience off of that. The staff was attentive, and polite, I do think they should work on suggesting up-sales, like drinks and desserts, but that's just coming from someone that's been in the service industry. But no harm no foul, didn't hurt my feelings! When it came to the food, I wasn't left impatiently waiting long, came out within 5-6 minutes, piping hot! Side note, to the people complaining about their cooked food being hot??? It's basic physics my guy! Anyways, back to what I was saying. Hot, fresh and delicious! And I'm not describing myself now, stay with me! The gyro meat was moist, tender and flavorful! Fresh red onions and freshly sliced tomatoes which were to accompany my tzatziki! Second side note, why are people complaining about the presentation of tzatziki?!? Should they put in in a lil duck mold and serve it to you? Nah, slap that thing all over my sandwich and make it extra sloppy! The French fries just about committed war crimes in my mouth for how hot they were, but whose fault is that? Definitely my fat a$$. Well seasoned fries, hot, crisp and just begging you submerge them in that tzatziki! Last but not least, to the lady named Alice D who left the most humorous comment I've read in forever, lady everyone learns how to walk, maybe watch where you're going? "Don't risk your life" is by far the most gut busting thing I've read today, and I enjoy reading Thomas the Tank Engine! But lady, get a grip. I stalked your reviews, you had something like 53 (1)Star Review ratings, and 5 (5)Star Review ratings. Hate to tell you what everyone else is thinking, the common denominator is you cupcake! Service was great! The staff is very kind and helpful. I have came in a couple times and did enjoy the fresh pita bread and homemade tzatziki sauce. The lamb however, was a little too salty for me and the last time I got the chicken and pork kabobs my food was completed burnt. It wasnt edible. I love my food charred but this was just sooo burnt and made me sick. The price is good for the size of food but not for the quality, I have had better. We ordered the jalapeño cheddars for an appetizer and it was alright. They were extremely hot, temperature wise, bit nothing better than the frozen ones you can by at the groceries. Then we both ordered the Gyro plate which came with fries and man, that was the best gyro I've had in this area. The meat was fresh so it came out steaming with tomatoes and onions topped with the house tzatziki sauce. Everything went extremely well together, the fires well seasoned, we did have to add salt cause we like our fies salty. To end our meal, we ordered the Baklava which was very rich and not too sweet, we loved it! I usually have baklava where the honey overtakes most of the taste but it was subtly used in this case so you could actually enjoy the richness and flavor. The service wasn't bad but they do cook everything fresh so it does take a while for the orders to come out. The ambience was nice, the pictures to the tables really made you feel like you were in Greece. The smell of the restaurant took me out of Deer Park and Traight into Athens, we enjoyed our experience. Overall, we highly recommend and will definitely go back to try their other items. 9/10. read more

Saw this place in the neighborhood and thought we would try it. The waitress was absolutely terrible. Never asked if we needed anything ordered tea never got even 1 refill. She stood at the counter playing on her phone. There was only one other table with customers other than us. My husband ordered Souvlaki combo plate. Each time I have come here I have ordered the chicken shawarma sandwich. The pita is always warm, the chicken is flavorful, and the tzatziki sauce is plentiful. The sandwich comes with fries which I would recommend. I have gotten a green salad before but it was not my favorite. Service: Each time I have ordered online before going in. I would recommend doing this if you don't have much time to wait. Since it's mainly the one guy cooking and taking orders, it's not unexpected to wait a little bit for your food. Ordering online cuts the wait time for sure! He is awesome! Ambiance: Very friendly place that you might not notice unless you drive by it every day. We went in and were very excited based on the reviews here. We walk in and there's no one in the store as far as customers. The waitress didn't get us or anything. We asked if we should seat ourselves and she hesitantly replied yes. We got our menus ourselves and sat down. I went here today for lunch hour and it was so delicious! We ordered the assortment appetizer tray and we loved it! I ordered the chicken Gyro and I was surprised by how good it tasted. Came here for the first time and it DID NOT disappoint ONE BIT!! My wife ordered a chicken gyro while I ordered a regular gyro. Both were stuffed up with the meat AND the fries were amazing just the right amount of seasoning. I remember my first time coming here around 2021 at the old location and I had their gyro with fries, Greek salad, and baklava. Their gyros with fries and Greek salad are the best! I repeat the BEST! The pita bread tastes amazing. The tomatoes are always ripe, red, and fresh. The fries are seasoned and delicious, too. The tzatziki sauce tastes homemade with full of flavor. I have always done takeout and never had a bad experience. The food was always made to order. I have eaten dine-in once at the old location with my mom and the service was amazing. I always get my usual gyro and fries and share a Greek salad with her. She also gets the same meal as me, but this time she wanted to try something different, so she got the fried catfish. She thought it was going to be fried catfish fillets, but no, it was a whole fish that was fried to perfection. It tasted fresh and had good flavor. It also came with tartar sauce, coleslaw, and seasoned fries. You can tell the owner gives exceptional quality in his meals and their prices are very reasonable for the amount of food served. Recently, I was craving gyros and called the restaurant, but the number I had did not work. I googled the restaurant for its number and saw they changed it and also moved locations. At first, I thought he went out of business and someone used the exact restaurant name. I called anyways and was expecting the owner to pick up. Someone did answer, but it wasn't him. I was kind of skeptical because I thought he wasn't there anymore, but I still wanted to try out this new location because they said it still was the same restaurant. Sure enough, he is still there, thriving, and was in the back cooking. I am so incredibly happy that he has help now because I cannot only imagine how much of a challenge it is to own a business just by yourself especially being the only cook taking orders, and making sure he is on track with all his food delivery services. Hopefully, soon I can dine-in at his new location because I have been wanting to try their Greek pizza. I have read many good reviews on it! read more
