PEOPLE !!!!! I've done some research on this place. I've tried to find good pizza that is HEALTHY and not contaminated with preservatives and ingredients that are harmful to people. This ROMA pizza is all made by hand, even the dough. We're talking fresh ingredients for the toppings. The cheese is REAL MOZZARELLA CHEESE. Not the fake cheap stuff that everyone else is using so they can make more money from. I've been everywhere looking for not good, but GREAT PIZZA. After trying 4 different times I have yet to find any flaws in these pizza's. I like my crust thick on the edges and they said no problem because they still do the pizza crust and pizza by hand. Other places have their pizza crusts come frozen off a truck pre made.The prices are better than average compared to this economy but you're getting the real deal pizza. The pizza sauce is made from fresh tomatoes every morning,not that trash sauce from out of a can. He has his own hand made sauce he's been doing for years. One man making these pizzas not a bunch of kids ,making sure every pizza is perfect before it goes out the door. If you want that great Friday night pizza this is the place to order from.... It's old school pizza we used to get 30yrs ago when food was great and healthy to eat. This is old school and it's the best I've had in years.... Don't take my word, go see for yourself and don't forget to see the huge bread mixer and old style ovens making some Damm GREAT PIZZA !!!!!!! I tried Roma pizza back in its previous league city location but wanted to try it again in it's new Dickinson location and it was excellent. I ordered an XL extra pepperoni pie well done ( to which I added my own hot honey) then also tried their spicy buffalo chicken pizza. Both pizzas were cooked perfectly and had a true NYC style crispy undercarriage/crust which most pizza spots here in Houston can't recreate. Prices were also very reasonable given the high quality. I should've taken a picture before I mixed in the Parmesan--LOL. As someone who struggles with severe acid reflux and needs specialty medication, I'm usually really careful with red sauces. But the one here doesn't bother me at all, which honestly feels amazing. I finally feel like I can enjoy Italian food again. Mario is so kind and truly cares about his customers--he even prepared my dish with special attention. Every pasta I've ordered comes with a beautiful and delicious garlic loaf, which is such a nice touch. I also love that you can actually see the tomatoes in the sauce--it tastes fresh and homemade. The cheese pizza and Alfredo pizza are both incredible too. Everything here is just so tasty! read more

Man I love this place. Been going there about 15 years or so ya know off an on since he was in league city then moved to Dickinson. I'm 40 now and pizza may be one the worst things to eat. (I read that somewhere ) lol so I try not to eat it. But when I do, it's Roma Pizza. The crust is amazing, which normally I throw out. The sauce is made daily. And Mario the owner literally stands behind every pizza put in that oven. I think that's what makes a place great. When the owner is that dedicated to their food. Oh and the wings aren't to bad. Not a wing place but they are worth getting and go well with that delicious pizza. Definitely worth the drive and wait in his brand new pizza heaven in Dickinson. Very nice and clean inside too. I liked it. It was just pizza. HowEVER... the atmosphere is SO 1978-1980. It took me back to then. The basics are covered... genuine accoutrement. It's plain. I loved it. Was told 20 minutes on pick up. Arrived 25 minutes after calling- waited another 25 minutes . Pizzas was not even made when I arrived.

Let me first say, to my understanding this is the same Roma Pizza owner that was in League city . They know how to make a pie !! Wife and I wanted to give them a shot today . Not crazy that they only had delivery . Placed order on line and it was very easy and we got what we ordered . The weather was not the best and there was a play off football game on . It took longer than the app indicated . I live about 1 mile from the location and would have picked it up . Long story short . Pie was good , needed to be warmed up and the others sides we purchased were also cold and little soggy . Will most likely give them another shot . read more

I want to say as a person from the East coast that is used to eating New York/ New Jersey pizza, which in my opinion is one of the best, this pizza from Romas is close to that any day. It always feels like I'm at home. 1. Food is great! My favorite pizza, wings and everything else. 2. Service is always great! 3. The place is very welcoming, clean and pleasant to be in. We have had the pizza which is excellent! Wanted to try something different. Eggplant was wonderful! My husband had chicken and white sauce. He said it was about best he has had ! We all love Pizza right! Well if pizza is your thing ....then I'm afraid to tell ya I wasn't impressed at all....But you may like it....give it a try...I did. Now the review....I crave a good pizza ..and the dough wasn't acceptable at best....Burned and very chewy....the Pizza had about a 1/8 of a cup of juice from the onions and bell peppers on top and when I opened the pizza box I was shocked because quality control should have caught this at first glance....but I take it home anyway and move on....to the actual taste.....to see maybe it was just a busy day and if the flavor was OK.....Nope it wasn't there either the soggy pizza was a goopy mess....I tasted the peppers were like pickles or something wasn't right about them......So if I was grading this pizza from one to ten.....I would seriously give this pizza a 1........because it was a burned and soggy mess......I really wanted this place to be the one.....it's close to my home and I hate driving all the way past Krogers to get my favorite pizza which has not disappointed me once. I want to mention that the service wasn't there either.....When I walked in the Gentleman who I assumed was the owner just looked at me like who are you....I had to initiate the conversation.....usually they say "Hello how can I help you?!" Not this guy....so I hope they do better.....but I just may never go there again......that was horrible....I just don't have high expectations for new restaurants these days. Restaurant was clean. Employees were very friendly. Got an 18" house pizza. It was ok. Ordered a Greek Salad. 1/3 of 1 Roma tomato. Iceburg lettuce. That's it. DO NOT ORDER A SALAD. Wasn't close to a Greek salad. A prepared HEB salad would be a bonanza compared to this salad and the HEB salad is 3.29 not 9.75. Would I eat there again. Maybe.
