Decent pizza than a big chain company and prices are decent. The pizzas come filled with toppings and sauce has a good flavor. What could be fixed is the dough, I'm not a fan and it's on the chewier texture side and lacks that crunch or snap that a nice crust gets. On the other hand, something I think would elevate their food more is if they added the ridged cardboard pieces to the pizza boxes. What happens when the pizza is added to the box and you drive home with it hit, the heat adds condensation to the box making the pizza soggy and floppy not making the most enjoyable experience when going to take a bit and all your topping fall off. If you get their Lorenzo's deluxe pizza be prepared for all the toppings to be sitting on top of the cheese not really melted into the pizza it's self. I really wished they added just a little extra cheese on top to hold everything in better for when you take a bite. Overall it's a good spot that's local with quality ingredients and value. Sometimes you may have to call many times to get through the phone line, but their customer service is always very well done. They have only made a mistake on my order 1 time that I've ever ordered from them and hey we're very apologetic and quick to fix the mistake quickly and keep me in the loop, even offering me a 2 liter soda that I didn't want to to take from them. Mistakes happen, we are all human and understanding that something's happen. I appreciate how kind they always are and offer to walk me to my car with help. You cannot tip on credit cards so bring cash if tipping. They do not have spots to dine or eat in, only take away or delivery. read more

We don't eat pizza very often, but oddly enough we were craving it. So we ordered an extra large half veggie, half pepperoni. The wait time was said to be over an hour by the courteous person answering the phone. I said that is fine with me! I think it arrived within an hour hot and fresh. The pizza dough was delicious, soft with a crisp outside. The pizza was just enough sauce, and perfect amount of delicious cheese to veggie, pepperoni ratio. I had forgotten about this place until looking for pizza delivery on Yelp. I will definitely order again next time we want this delicious pizza! read more

Have ordered a couple pizzas from here before tonight but has been awhile. They do not skimp on toppings here and they are legit, do not taste like nasty canned ones! The flavor is always fantastic, lots of garlic. The dough for me however is too soft for pizza. It tastes great just doesn't hold up well to the mountain of toppings. Would make an amazing calzone. I think they have a thin crust pizza I need to try and see if I like that crust better. They will do half and half as well if sharing. Regardless, this is a good pie and would definitely recommend. A small-town gem. Lorenzo's has the absolute best pizza around. Now living in Austin this is the one place that can't be matched regardless of where I go. I read poor reviews about this place, but my only guess is they are the kind of people who love dominoes. This pizza is far better than the bland and flat dominoes pizza. They also have wings that are okay if you want something to compliment the pizza. The pizza has A LOT of cheese, so some people ask for extra sauce and light cheese. This is my favorite pizza place anywhere. I lived in Santa Fe from 8th grade through my high school graduation (which was in 1999), and have lived in several places since then, but never found better pizza. In the interest of full disclosure, during my sophomore year of high school I did date one of their delivery drivers. I don't think reviewing is a conflict of interest, considering that that was 15 years ago and I broke up with the guy the next year. Anyhow, as a result of that relationship, I did get to see part of the reason why the pizza is so great: Lorenzo's has a special blend of cheeses which they do themselves (meaning, buying big blocks of 3 or so cheeses and putting them through a fun grating machine on-site). It is kind of like cartoon pizza with how gooey and stringy the cheese is. Yes, I have eaten at Lorenzo's more recently than 1999. For a few weeks after Hurricane Ike my husband and I were homeless, so we stayed with my aunt and uncle in Santa Fe until we found a new place in Galveston. One night I offered to buy dinner for the four of us, so I ordered two large pizzas from Lorenzo's. The pizza was still just as awesome as I remembered. I believe we got olive and mushroom and they got supreme. My aunt and uncle had never had pizza from Lorenzo's before, even though they had lived in Santa Fe for a few years. They were surprised to hear that Lorenzo's delivered and had competitive prices. Don't think they'll be ordering from the chain places around town anymore .... read more

Absolutely love this pizza... I have been eating here since I was a kid. I keep it very simple with a Large Cheese Pizza and it is genuinely the best pizza around. The crust has an amazing unique flavor and the cheese is thick just like I like it. The pizza isn't too saucy but the sauce is great as well. The people are very friendly in the store when you pick up. My advice cut those crappy large chain Pizza places and get with Lorenzo's. We always order at least once a week. read more
