We came in on a Friday night and there was only one server handling the entire restaurant. At first we felt compassion for them knowing it was a lot for once person to handle. However, people were waiting at the door to be seated for over 15 minutes. We watched people leave the front door as we waited to put in drink orders. The table next to us was waiting as well. Finally we ordered drinks and calamari for an appetizer. We got our drinks about 10 minutes later and then we saw our food placed on the counter to be brought to our table. We watched as the server handled the to- go area and then served a customer a beer. Instead of bringing our food and everyone else's that was sitting on the counter, they stood at the bar talking with this one customer for over 5 minutes. THEN they walked back up to the to-go area and left the food that was ready on the bar. When we finally got our calamari, it was super cold, greasy, and had some pieces that were so overcooked it was like fried paper. We weren't sure why there were dried cherry tomatoes in our calamari either. It took another 10-15 minutes before we could get their attention for the check. My husband finally walked over to them asked for the check and we left. Our intention was to try the pizza that friend had recommended it to us. After a $23 tab (plus we still tipped them) for 2 ice teas and the worst appetizer in recent memory, we left. We won't be back. i had a great gluten free experience at The Bing pizzeria in league city! i teached out via fb messenger to confirm their protocols before going as i got glutened by a different pizza place last week and had some PTSD. they confirmed protocols in messenger and then i asked the waiter to notate on the order that i had a gluten allergy. i ordered the cauliflower chicken pesto pizza and added sun dried tomatoes. the manager then came out and reiterated they cleaned everything and changed gloves before preparing my gf pizza. this extra step meant so much to me! i know if ive gotten glutened almost immediately and im happy to say there was no glutening tonight. and the pizza was delicious!!! they have a pretty extensive selection of wine too. we will definitely be back. check out the bing! read more

The lettuce was all yellow instead of green so I think I got some old lettuce that should have been thrown out. But the dressing had a nice taste. I thought $6 for a small salad was high. I happened upon Baba Bing Pizzeria a while ago, and I thought that I give them a try. The staff are wonderful, they're attentive, and patient when taking your order. They refill your glasses without asking and don't mind if you make omissions for your dish. Bada Bing is a bit small inside, but the place definitely gives off a cozy, Italian family dining atmosphere. They're décor is OK, and they have TVs with different channels to cater different kinds of customers. Their lunch special was surprisingly, inexpensive. The pizza and salad were great. My salad wasn't runny and made just how I like it. My personal pizza was fresh from the oven, scalding hot! Bada Bing Pizzeria only use fresh ingredients and every menu item is homemade. Their pizza was some of the best I ever had! Downsides: I think Bada Bing has enough space inside for large gatherings, as long as it's not more than ten people? Maybe? This place is hard to find. Bada Bing Pizzeria is in a small strip, cramped in a busy shopping area, and by a busy freeway so parking will be extremely difficult. read more

She was so sweet and came back to check on us several times throughout our time there. If you go, you have to get the fried cheese sticks. They're made with fresh mozzarella and hand breaded and they are so dang good! The pizza was great as well. The marinara sauce doesn't have that acidic tin can taste to it, so you know it's made fresh in house. All four of us in our family said we can't wait to go back. Our party got greeted when we walked in with lots of smiles and hellos. The experience was quite extraordinary. Wow. What a nice first experience! The atmosphere here is kitschy, in an Italian-American sort of way. While the sounds of Frankie Avalon and Lou Monte blare through the speakers, a quick glance in any direction provides a who's who among Italian entertainers who made it big in the lower 48. It's a mix of New Jersey and Las Vegas, with the only 'Soprano's' references being on the menu. Service here on our visit was prompt, courteous and efficient. Two different people took care of us, so we weren't sure who we were tipping. Despite the comfy clean digs, the food is the reason we left so happy. The calamari is some of the best I've had -- melty and not chewy, with the lightest of crisp breading. My cup of minestrone came sans pasta, which is unusual. The rich broth and toothsome vegetables more than made up for it. Our mains included Chicken Marsala and Shrimp Spumante. First, the Marsala was outstanding, with fresh mushrooms and a rich Marsala wine-based sauce. The tender white meat chicken comes with cheese-filled tortellini that was beautifully cooked al dente. Very nice. Shrimp Spumante is a velvety combination of Champagne-based cream sauce, sliced fresh mushrooms and plump shrimp served with wonderfully firm angel hair pasta. It's a delectable taste of northwestern Italy. We shamelessly ordered a pizza and a to-go stromboli. The pizza is delicious, although there are a couple of other pizza joints in the area that I prefer. The stromboli though? I intended to take it to lunch the following day, but couldn't wait to slice into it the very same night. When thick gooey cheese oozes from a salty yeasty crust, there's no other word to describe it than ... nirvana. I've had stromboli all across the eastern U.S., including NY and NJ and none were as outstanding as this place. I understand that there are a few mixed reviews here. Bad days happen at any restaurant. Fortunately, our Sunday evening experience here wasn't among those, and we will be back for sure. read more
