I'd say the waitress made it obvious she was ready to get out of there. Ten minutes after she brought our food (pasta dishes), she came to ask if we needed boxes. I said I'll let you know when I'm closer to finishing my meal. I had to ask for more tea, and after she brought a refill, she returned with the check. It seemed pretty clear that she was ready to end her shift. When I was done, and I asked for two boxes, she took my card to pay the bill. All's well, except my bill was $51.99, tip added. I distinctly remember this figure. I even wrote it off to the side of the ticket, adding my initials. Why this is important, is because I've just checked my account, and I've been charged $58.99. This is why I rewrote the total with my initials. My tip reflected the lack of service. If you're reading this, owners, managers, whoever - train your waitresses that service is equated to the moment I decide I'm ready to leave, not your waitress. Why rush me to the degree that its obvious? I will contact my bank to dispute this charge. I wonder if the extra $7.00 tip the waitress added to the receipt was worth this review. I guess you'll see. We went with a build-your-own pizza, and it definitely hit the spot. The crust had a nice balance of crispy and chewy, and the toppings tasted fresh without being overloaded. Shoutout to our server, Julian--he was attentive, friendly, and made sure everything came out right. Service like that always makes a difference. We had the muffuletta and the Italian sandwiches, Italian pasta salad, and the cannolis. Everything was absolutely spectacular. I can't wait to come visit again and try more of the menu. Andy is such a wholesome person and knew just about everyone who walked through his doors. We even took home a loaf of jalapeño cheese bread and jalapeño ranch pasta salad that Andy makes in-house. He offered to give a dessert for the mix up of medium vs large and the tiramisu had this thick powder all over the top. It was awful. $45 for a medium half cheese half pepperoni and mushroom pizza, mozzarella sticks, and a tiny Alfredo, and a Diet Coke! Never again!
