I already like VP&S, but this branch is by far my favorite among the locations throughout Galveston County. Not only is it a few minutes drive from my humble abode, but the food here is even better than its counterparts in LC and Dickinson. Just like last Saturday, I had the Village Special pizza except Santa Fe's was hotter, richer in cheese and toppings, and oh-so huge! The wings here are way better than the ones I had in LC. When we finally got our calamari, it was super cold, greasy, and had some pieces that were so overcooked it was like fried paper. We weren't sure why there were dried cherry tomatoes in our calamari either. It took another 10-15 minutes before we could get their attention for the check. My husband finally walked over to them asked for the check and we left. Our intention was to try the pizza that friend had recommended it to us. After a $23 tab (plus we still tipped them) for 2 ice teas and the worst appetizer in recent memory, we left. We won't be back.
