I have been wanting to try this place for a while, and finally had the opportunity to today. My wife and I were immediately greeted when we walked in by Andy, and felt right at home. We told Andy we had never been before and he walked us through the menu and talked with us like he had known us for years. We had the muffuletta and the Italian sandwiches, Italian pasta salad, and the cannolis. Everything was absolutely spectacular. I can't wait to come visit again and try more of the menu. Andy is such a wholesome person and knew just about everyone who walked through his doors. We even took home a loaf of jalapeño cheese bread and jalapeño ranch pasta salad that Andy makes in-house. I tried this restaurant for the first time and had the roast beef with provolone. The food came out fresh and hot and tasted delicious! I also had the potato salad as a side and it was also delicious. For dessert, I decided to try the Italian cream cake, and it did not disappoint! I arrived about 10 minutes before they opened and there were 5 cars waiting for it to open. Walked in and it's not fancy on the inside but comfortable and welcoming. They have pre-packed items you can purchase (pasta, olives, olive oil, various types of their salads and desserts.). I got the hot roast beef with Swiss and also the Italian. The roast beef was good but a little dry. However, I had to wait to eat it so I've I'd been able to eat it right away my opinion might be different. If I get it again I'll get some au juis with it. I love their place, big bucks for a big sandwhich but will you not leave hungry and might even have left overs. If you hate flavor then do not come here! It was delicious and flavorful. Andy is a great cook and salesman. We also had chicken alfredo, veggie soup and chicken gnocchi soup, it's probably the best soups I have ever had. I took some left over garlic bread and put it in my soup and nostalgia! This gem of a restaurant front is hidden too from Hwy 6. I grew up on the East coast and was looking for a taste of home. This absolutely hits the mark! Andy himself has been at the counter during my couple of spots and makes an effort to have a real conversation which is so nice. Tried this place for the 1st time last weekend and loved it! The BEST tasting Italian sub I've ever had and it was loaded with quality meats and cheeses. You definitely get more than you paid for. This place is only 10 minutes away from my home ... scares me to think how often I will be coming back. And the owner? Couldn't be nicer and more personable. He made some recommendations, pointed to the different cases and what was in them. Then he informed me they make 200 cannoli's every Saturday and when they're gone they're gone. Because of the great reviews about this restaurant/sandwich shop I decided to try it out. It's a small mom & pop type shop with a few tables for dine it customers. I ordered the special which was a half Cajun turkey sandwich and they also had homemade lasagna, of course I had to try it as well. I am not a sandwich person & the times when I eat one, I don't like lettuce. I forgot to tell them no lettuce and I'm glad I did. This was the best cajun turkey sandwich I've ever had. Fresh bread, they weren't skimpy on the meat which was also fresh, banana peppers, fresh veggies and I'm not of the sauce but it was amazing. This is my new go-to sandwich place moving forward. It's 20 minutes from me but we'll worth the drive. I tasted the lasagna and yes it is good too! read more

Andy hollered out to me as I left asking how it was. We talked briefly about his heritage (Palermo) - I explained my husband's family hails from Cefalu Sicily and I lived in Southern Italy for 8 years. He explained he has lots of deli meats besides mortadella but i told him i will be back specifically for that!
