I have not been to Jason's Deli for a few years. I ordered the Reuben 1/2 sandwich & a salad and they were busy on Sunday at noonish. Food came out really quick and the place was beaming with happy customers consuming their lunch. I had the I hibiscus tea and it was delicious. My wife is disabled and there are rarely any handicapped spots available (or non-handicapped spots for that matter) when we try to visit. I think the BJ's crowd takes most of the parking spots, because the lot may be full but the restaurant is empty. Anyhow, when we can find parking we usually we get the Salad Bar, but this time we opted for the Carmella sandwich and the California Club. The sandwiches used to be served with a pickle, and it shows it on your receipt (sandwich, chips & pickle) but they no longer serve them. I asked the lady manager and she acted annoyed and snapped at me saying they only gave pickles for to-go orders. That's a shame because we really loved our sandwiches, and I like how the Carmella has a bit of spice, too. Our family LOVES Jason's Deli. Our kids actually request coming to them (instead of McDonald's etc.). This particular location looked updated. The restaurant logo is different than other locations. The place was clean and had plenty of seating. We *think* the bathrooms were being renovated because there was painters plastic by the door. We didn't investigate further. We got our "usual": kid pizzas and a salad bar. The food was GREAT! The kid's pizzas were even better than other locations and the salad bar was the freshest I have seen in the last couple visits (at other locations). This visit I used my free birthday dessert coupon. The gentlemen at the counter recommended the Strawberry Shortcake and I went with it. Unfortunately, i actually didn't care for it at all. One of my kids tried it and didn't like it either. Should have gone with a brownie or something instead. Ah well, at least I didn't pay for it. The kids of course had their fill of the FREE ice cream. (I actually think this is their main reason for coming to Jason's Deli.) Cost is pretty fair. Kid's meals were under $5 and I think my salad bar was like $10.50-ish. The main negative was that there was a *bit* of a wait before having our order taken despite no line. This was my first time at Jason's Deli at this location. I am a huge muffuletta fan, so I was delighted to see that on the menu. I ordered the quarter muffuletta combo that came with chips and a soup. I picked the chicken pot pie soup. The sandwich very good. The bread was fresh and crispy on the outside, and the meat was sliced thinly. Sometimes, the sandwiches can be salty with the olive mixture, but it wasn't. I would've liked just a little more meat to balance the thickness of the bread. The soup was good, but I should've just had it with chips. The sandwich portion was plenty. Jason Deli never disappoints always great food & service every time I come they are busy

First time at a Jasons in several years. The one where i live in FL closed during Covid. Crowded around 1 on a Saturday afternoon. Little parking. No ambiance. Service time was reasonable and the staff friendly. Real gumbo has okra, shrimp, sausage and other southern spices along with a beautiful rue. They have some of the best Gumbo around, even better than half the places in New Orleans. Hard to believe you can't find it in the frozen food section at your local supermarket. I than had a Pastrami sandwich. Man, it was good too! Pastrami at Costco or Sam's touts their 97% fat free versions of it. But real Pastrami needs some fat in it, maybe 10-15% and that's what Jason's has. As I was walking out, fully satified by my choices I noticed a young lady enjoying a Jason's baked potato. I was happy to see it still looked like it weighed several pounds before adding all of the toppings. I'll be back to get one of those the next time. read more

I was craving a bacon egg and cheese on a bagel! I saw this deli and I figured this is my chance. To my surprise it wasn't that kind of deli. It had gourmet sandwiches, pasta dishes and a salad bar. We went to this location to compare it to their other location by Burke Road. OMG how can a chain keep such a high level of quality across the board? It was a Sunday afternoon after church and this huge location was crowded. Even with such a crowd our service was as good as if it was half empty. No excuses, just great service. Now the food was simply GREAT! My wife had the half muffuletta sandwich with a cup of roasted pepper tortilla soup. Hours later she was still raving about it. I had a Great salad! Something do about cancer research and MD Anderson. It was huge with avocado, roasted peppers, sweet onions and LOTS of salmon!!! I mean this will definitely bring me back. Food is good as always but this time it was the level of customer service that I have to brag about. After finishing dinner I drove away and left my Invisalign on a napkin on the table. Realized my huge mistake about 20 minutes later and called back to ask about them. Aiden answered the phone and went to check the table. Of course it had been bussed. He then offered to go dig through the trash looking for them. I headed back so that I could also dig through the trash but upon arrival he had fished out 1 of them. I'm mostly updating this review to change the rating to 3.5 = 4 stars. I began to feel self-conscious about my many visits and the 3 star rating. It's mostly the same review. I don't find much here I like, but they do have an excellent salad bar. If I were rating only the salad I would give them five stars -- but you may want to read Nick S.'s review. His observations are correct. If you're really hungry the best deal in the house is the half-sandwich and a one-trip salad bar combo. My wife likes the California Club with the fruit cup, and I occasionally get a pastrami Ruben. Most of the time she gets half a California and I get the one trip salad bar. They have a pretty big selection but much of it seems to cater to health eccentrics -- gluten free, veterinarian, etc. They have good chili here but you can't get Frito Pie. You can't get Fritos here because something about them is bad for you. For a while you couldn't get a hotdog because wieners are bad for you. You get the picture. A health oriented deli -- what's next, a vegan restaurant that serves chili, corned beef, steak and Blue Cheese Dressing? Recently we've been getting a bowl of chili, an extra bowl, share the chili, bring our own Fritos and make Frito Pie. I once spoke to the local manager about a false statement they had on their chalk board that cost me $2. He offered to give me the $2 but refused to change it because he said it was dictated by the headquarters. I explained I didn't want the money, I wanted it corrected so others wouldn't be cheated but he appeared to prefer to make the extra $2. I keep giving this place another try. I must be nuts. Just ordered a "hot" corned beef sandwich and tomato basil soup this morning. It was delivered in no time - so that part (U-Eats) was perfect. Everything was cold. I mean not even warm! It only took the driver less than 10 minutes to get to my house, so it wasn't the trip. The sandwich was terrible! Cold, stringy, tough, rubbery, no flavor. Bread was gummy and not fresh. They forgot the mayo. One of the worst I've ever tried to eat! Tomato soup was cold and tasted sour. Not tangy, but sour. Definitely prefer this location to any of the others in the area - especially the one on Spencer highway in Pasadena. The place is always clean, I've never had to wait for a table to be cleaned and my food is always out within 5 minutes - piping hot. This place can get super crowded around lunch time or even on the weekends so getting it to go is usually what we do and they've got a separate door and registers set up for those orders which makes it even easier to grab and go without waiting in a long line of dine-in customers. The customer service is always fantastic and they're always ready to bring you whatever you need - crackers, extra dressing, etc. I recommend the seasonal beef stew and the Big Chef salad. I was very upset with Jason's Deli last night. On Sept. 26 Project Graduation was approved for a fundraiser for Wednesday, Oct 19. We get there with a couple to eat and raise funds for Project Graduation, and the cashier informs us that her manager stated, "they were not doing any fundraisers that evening." When I asked if I could speak with him after showing her the flyer that was sent to promote the fundraiser, he came up looked at the flyer and said, "oh, that is our store." The problem I have is how many other customers were told no there are no fundraisers. I think the manager was rude for not apologizing, and Jason's Deli needs to be more organized when working with the community that supports them. This is unacceptable and we will not be using Jason's Deli in Webster for any future fundraising. read more

We stopped in for a last minute bite to eat and as seafood eaters we love seeing salmon, shrimp or tuna on any menu. Jason's deli has so many options for all eaters. We both got the tuna sandwich which I did not know came with chips and the gumbo and tomato soup. Everything was fresh and served promptly. My only feedback is that the soup was very Luke warm and the tuna sandwich is high quality but lacks flavor. I'm glad I put other veggies on it but it could use some flavor. The other thing is the menu does lot indicate it contains eggs which was a bummer for those allergic. Recommend not using egg and that way more seafood lovers with potential allergies could enjoy and serve the soup hot! read more

Jasons deli, it's not the greatest deli in the world, it's certainly not the most authentic, but, if you like salads and some decent sandwiches, it does the job. I think their salad bar has gone downhill in the last few years, but, that's going from upper middle mediocrity, to middle middle mediocrity. Are there better salad places? Yes. Are there better delis? Yes. Are there better places that do both, probably. But for this price point, location, vast number of locations and National consistency, there are a few like it. I just wish there was more selection on the salad bar, and either enough to make it a full meal, or a reduction in price to make it more of a competitive side item. But it's certainly much better thanSubway, and other sandwich joints. read more

1st trip to this location. At 130 the parking lot was full and couldn't find a parking spot much less a handicap space. I had to drop off the handicap passenger and then park next door. The inside was very noisy. After placing the order it took about 5 mins to get the meal. The sandwich's were good a chicken salad and I got the beef eater. The chips inside the restaurant are a 100 times better than the bag of chips they give you with Togo orders that are so hard you can't eat them without a trip to the dentist the next day. This Jason's had a large salad bar, and more drink options. The free ice cream reminds me of McDonald's ice cream I had 25 years ago before all the machines broke ‍.
