I love a good cold sub! I was out and about and was told Lennys was a good sandwich. I went at lunch time and there wasn't anyone in there, but that didn't stop me. One of the workers was sleeping in the booth. The staff didn't welcome me or ask any questions. I ordered and dined in. The sandwich was delicious. The Lenny's jalapeño chips were crispy and tasty. I really wish I would have tried Lennys sooner because I've been missing out! I've been wanting to try Lennys for awhile, but I'm such a creature of habit when it comes to my preferred sandwich places. Now that I have finally tried Lennys, it will definitely be added to the rotation. I placed an order online. The default time for the "ASAP" option is 10 minutes. I arrived about 5 minutes before the promised time. When I arrived they were finishing up my sandwich. The two gentleman working were very friendly. I had a medium Mile High Turkey. This sandwich was legit! The bread was fresh and soft. The veggies were fresh and very crunchy. I enjoyed the pickle slices on the sandwich and the red wine vinegar and seasoning was great. It wasn't overly salty and was very filling! I don't know if the sandwich was that good, or if I was hungry or what, but I devoured it! After I finished eating, I immediately downloaded the app (I wasn't going to sign up for an account until I tried the food lol). I gave them an amazing review the first time I eat here because the Philly cheesesteak was amazing and I liked the lemonade but this time on my second visit, I had a meatball sub only one side of it. It was heated up the other side was still cold. The cheese didn't even melt, and as I was eating at the meatball started to taste worse and worse I think it's mainly because they were cold, I didn't leave the store. Stopped in here the other day for a late lunch and I was not disappointed. I've been a customer of this business for years but I hadn't been at this location in quite some time. Things look updated and fresh, which is nice. The staff was friendly and helpful. The bathrooms are super clean, which is a big deal for me as I am a neat freak. I got the deluxe sub, medium size, with chips and a drink. The deluxe comes with turkey, hame, bacon, lettuce, onions, tomatoes, mayo, and mustard. This was my first time at a Lenny's. It was very good. The sandwich tasted very fresh. The meat was cut after I ordered my sandwich, not pre-prepared like at Subway. I wasn't starving so I ordered the 5" Italian. It came with 3-4 meats (can't remember for sure) and provolone, plus whatever veggies I wanted. The price was slightly more than Subway, but not by much. The fresher taste is totally worth the extra buck, or whatever. I'm totally coming back. read more

This was a delivery order. We've never ate at the restaurant before. My honest review is this sandwich shop is just nothing to reorder from. The French dip was dry, as in....... The meat was dry to the bone, dry, dry, dry, the au jus was just super salty liquid beef bouillon with really no flavor at all. Couldn't even dip the sandwich in it because of the salt level, this coming from someone that eats a LOT of salt because of a medical condition that requires lots of salt intake. Cheese steak sandwich was just ok, wouldn't bother with it again, and the kids ham and cheese was just ok. Ordered it with just lettuce and tomatoes, but, came with pickles and onions that my son wouldn't eat. Oh and the hot pepper relish was nothing more then a chunky buffalo wing sauce. I guess when I heard the word relish I was expecting a sweet/spicy chunky sauce. It's not, its chunky tobacco. Price of the food is good, would be great if the food was even a little bit more eatable, but, I don't think we'll be ordering from here again. read more

This new management kinda sucks. I came in around 10:24, 6 minutes before they open only because their open sign was on. The workers got right up to help me with my order but when it came time to pay, the manager was standing and playing with the register. After about 3 minutes of me awkwardly standing there waiting to pay, I sat down the manager finished what he was doing and walked away. Free meal, perhaps? Lenny's is very similar to Jersey Mike's Subs, and on the same scale quality wise. They're sandwiches feature deli meats which are sliced in front of you while you wait, and standard toppings as far as sandwich shops go. I ordered the turkey sandwich, despite being so close to Thanksgiving as it is. Add some lettuce, tomato, pickles, mustard and the spicy relish and you have a satisfying sandwich sure to conquer any lunchtime appetite. Their sandwich isn't as physically large as what you can find at Subway, but they stack the meat high and left me satisfied. Lenny's also sells their own branded chips, but the sea salt & vinegar were nothing more than ordinary kettle cooked chips without a strong vinegar bite. The staff was friendly and prepared our order quickly. They probably could take it to another level if they were hit by a lunch rush, but today they simply staid in cruise control. Parking is plentiful as the lot for the strip center is large. A solid sandwich, and decent value. They're no Mendocino Farms [they don't pretend to be], and they're definitely a higher quality sandwich than Subway or Quiznos. read more

I came to Lenny's last week while visiting Houston and they offer a seemingly good selection of subs. I got the Philly cheese steak with all of the toppings and hot pepper relish. I'm not familiar with the other sub places in the Houston area but I think that Penn Station offers the best Philly cheese steak of any chain restaurant but this one was still very good. They do offer subs on a choice of white or wheat bread which is nice but it would be nice if they had more options. read more

After moving out of Houston one of the places I miss is Lenny's sub shop. We stopped back here when were were in town last weekend, and it was just as I remembered. I always get the chicken salad sandwich. You know what I like about it? The celery to chicken ratio is just right: low amounts of celery. (I don't really like celery). Its an all around good sandwich. I also love their pepper relish. I also always get one of their cookies, macadamia nut to be precise. And it's always damn good. read more
