I have been going to Jersey Mike's for over 20 years and I cannot believe the staff at this one. I asked the guy if the bread is fresh and he came back and said as precious as is gonna be today with a smart attitude then my wife was at the register and the same guy with this nose ring said it would be 2319 my wife put down the money on the counter and the guy said you could use your card now and my wife pointed to the money on the counter and this guy said you couldn't hand it to me well then it got worse. This woman came into the store and looked at everyone in the store and said are you OK? Are you OK and I turned around and looked at her and she said mind your business I'm talking to my son as I was yelling as I was walking out the door. The guy with the nose ring said get the F out of my store get the F out of my store. I don't know what this world's coming to, but I never had unfriendly people at Jersey Mike's. I do have to say this one kid there appeared to have this happen more than once with the same employee. I will never step foot at this jersey Mike's sub again. The guy started rapping my sandwich and never asked me if I wanted lettuce or tomatoes or do I want it Mike's way I told the guy could you please stop I would like to have my sub Mike's way and he said well. Great location. Every time I come in, these guys rock. I've had an encounter with many employees and it's such a great atmosphere. Usually slow whenever I come in so service is always fast. I'd gone in once and they were out of the bread I wanted but I wasn't too disappointed, it's only bread and I'm not picky. Even so, later in my visit when I was eating, one of them offered to make a me a complimentary sandwich with the fresh made bread. I declined since I was finished and super satisfied already but HONESTLY! I was so pleased with their hospitality. There are pros and cons to Jersey Mike's. I'll do my best to adequately explain some of each. Pros - The food is good. The hoagie style sandwiches are fresh and delicious. The bread is always fresh and the meat slides to perfection. I have the tendency to lean towards the hot sandwiches. I really like the Philly cheesesteak and the chicken Philly cheesesteak. My wife leans more towards the Italian style sub sandwich. They also have good vegetarian options if that is what you need. This particular restaurant seems to be clean and the staff is very friendly. If you download the app, you can earn points for free food. Based on all the pros, I gave them four stars. Cons - The cons are not directed to this restaurant specifically but need to be addressed. At the time of this review (5.26.22), their app has some definite shortcomings. I order a lot of catering and deliveries. I prefer to order with apps. The major shortcoming with their app is you can't order a delivery for a future date. If I want a delivery for 15 people tomorrow, I can't place the order on the app. I have to go to the store and place it because they have to manually write it down and (this is really stupid), they can't take payment with a card over the phone. So, if you want to call in your order for delivery, you still have to go in and pay?!?!? How does that make sense???? JM obviously spent money creating an app but I can't use it for a delivery time that isn't immediate?!?!? Again, that's just dumb!!! Bottom line - Pretty good sub sandwiches. I really like them. Came here around 6:50pm. The way the workers were acting, I thought they were closing up. I actually asked the girl at the register if they closed at 7 and she said no, at 9pm... weird, because they wheeled the chip displays in the back before we even ordered. The other other odd thing was that there was one kid that was making the subs and ringing people out so he made ours and the 2 people ahead of us all at the same time. Not a huge problem but we don't get the oil & vinegar on ours and yet, our sub roll got dragged onto the sloppy cutting board after the previous sub drenching. The staff seemed nice despite the "closing up shop feel." We went with a #3 Ham and Provolone. It was made exactly how we asked and was super yummy. This was my second time to visit this restaurant, and sadly it was over the top disappointing. I ordered the tuna sandwich with lettuce, oil, vinegar, spices and jalapeños. When I went to sit down, there was not a clean table in the place. I went to ask for a cloth to clean one and the nice guy came out and cleaned one. Not all of them, just one. So I sat down and opened my sandwich when, guess what... yep, a blonde hair was sticking out. I took the sandwich back to the counter and gave it to the young lady behind the counter. She asked if I wanted another one and I said yes. She threw the first one away and started on the second. I'm not sure why I thought she would get it correct, but I went to the restroom while she was making it. While in the restroom, apparently they ran out of toilet paper. So they had a bundle of hand napkins sitting on the floor next to the toilet. Hmmm... Anyway, when I went back to get my sandwich it was on my table. I opened it and, yes, you guessed it, not what I originally ordered. I gave up and just ate that one. Regardless, I doubt I'll make a repeat appearance at this place. As for the taste... meh. I wore a really nice Liverpool jersey to this eatery and then I left my Jersey at Mike's. They sure do have pretty good sandwiches and a hell of a lot better than Subway, and even though a lot of other people are complaining about the price, I think this is a pretty good location, with pretty decent average sandwich prices. I mean Subway is cheaper but it tastes so much cheaper and they're smaller too. In any case, the quality is top notch, and sure the prices are comparatively high, but that's because it's so far superior to going to Subway, and also better than Jimmy John's too and other sub chains to be honest. Having visited an airport location and getting a few subs on our way out, we wanted to visit again to an actual location. The subs are good here and I love getting it Mike's Way. I just can't stomach paying $30.00 plus for 3 of us and not even all of us getting a chips and drink and at least one cookie to share. I find the kids meal a bit steep at $5 and they don't even get a chip. Bottom line this place is too expensive for what they sell. It's just sandwiches folks! Okay this place is kinda expensive for what you get if you're pinching pennies (and no judgement if you are; been there, had to do that). But if you have a few spare pennies and want a really freaking delicious sandwich this is a great choice. You order at the counter, but they make each sandwich a specific way so if you're up don't want something on it, or want something added, just let them know. I love that they slice the meat and cheese for your sandwich right there in front of you. And they don't skimp on either! I always get the turkey and provolone without onions. And it's so good! It tastes a lot like a grinder (grindah) from New England even though the place is called Jersey Mike's! The service was super awesome here; really friendly and welcoming and definitely a notch above most fast food joints. It's been a while since I've had food from one of my favorite sub places, Jersey Mike's. Today, I got the Big Kahuna Cheese Steak sub. It was fantastic! I normally get the club from these guys; but I wanted to try something new, and people...this didn't disappoint! I neglected to take a pic of the food this time, but I'll include one in my next review. I ordered this from DoorDash and got the order in a timely manner. The sub itself was full if delicious, thinly sliced steak, gooey cheese, and plenty of jalapeños and onions grilled to perfection! I haven't been to this particular Jersey Mike's location, but from the care obviously put into making the sub; and the correctness of the order by including the Salt and Vinegar chips and chocolate chip cookie I ordered, I can assure you I'll be stopping by soon. We recently ate at this chain while on vacation in Florida. We'd never tried it at home but placed an order online last week. It was super easy and convenient! The order process was quick and concise. I was able to cut the items I didn't want and add what my son wanted on his sub. We paid online and picked up our order about 15 minutes later. Simply walked in and the friendly clerk asked the order name and handed us the bag after confirmation. Our subs tasted fresh and were made exactly as ordered. We usually get great service from this location. This evening we had two sandwiches drinks and chips delivered. We received an email that said please meet your driver at the door wearing a face mask. We did but the driver was not wearing a face mask. I thought that was rather odd. The two sandwiches were delicious but neither sandwich was cut all the way through. The bottom piece of bread was not cut. I guess the person making the sandwiches was just tired. We will order from them again because the food always taste good. This place is awesome! From the incredibly friendly service to the subs it is my new go to sub place. Coming from Florida I was on the hunt to find a place to replace Publix (and obviously it simply cannot be done haha) but this is pretty close! They pile on the meat and toppings. I like my sandwich with a salad on top and they aren't shy. Had my Ultimate club topped Mike's way plus pickles and banana peppers. The Big Kahuna Philly was tasty and cooked just right where the bread didn't get chewy. The regular subs are about 7 or 8 dollars. The place is clean and i would eat there as well as take out. Jersey transplant checking in here. This place is pretty legit, guys! They have a great selection of cold sandwiches... "hoagies" as what they're so lovingly called from where I come from. You can also sub out any sandwich and do it as a wrap or get it in a "tub" with lettuce instead of bread or a wrap if that's your thing! Their hot sandwiches though... They really bring me back home. They have Philly cheesesteaks, chicken cheesesteaks, meatball sandwiches, chicken parm sandwiches, and even a grilled pastrami reuben! My go to is the chicken cheesesteak but last time we came I decided to get the chicken parm sandwich and it was great! The chicken cutlet on the sandwich was cooked well and overall the sandwich had a great proportion of sauce and cheese... Let's be real people we all have seen some sloppy sandwiches when red sauce is involved. The boyfriend got the grilled pastrami sandwich and he really liked it. We had a little hiccup in ordering (they brought me the wrong sandwich) but these guys handled it with finesse and I wish I could give them SIX stars instead of 5 for their customer service. Jersey Mike's has a great selection of cold and hot sandwiches, salads & wraps. You can also sub your sandwich as a wrap. Either hot or cold. Minor downside is that they don't have a wide selection of toppings for your sandwich like Subway or Which Wich. Every thing they make is fresh and made as you order. If it's your first time at Jersey Mike's, they give you free chocolate chip cookies! The cookies were so moist, chewy and packed with chocolate chips in every bite (the best kind). I want to like this place but it just didn't add up. I arrived with my family 45 minutes till close and at first everyone was nice, but it deteriorated from there. We were next in line and instead of making our order they made a huge online order before even starting ours. Now keep in mind we got here abt 45 till close and planned on eating in. So they wrote down our orders out and we sat and waited. When I went to pay the machine wouldn't take the gift card and although the employee was nice about it (says it breaks a lot and messes up often) she didn't know what to do until I suggested she tried running it manually on the register. Luckily it worked. We all sat down and the hot subs were just warm and maybe ten minutes later (2 minutes after nine) an employee came to let us know they are closed. I understand the need to close on time but the way she put it really wasn't appreciated since our subs were delayed and it was only 2 minutes after close. I tried Jersey Mike's for the first time today and it was absolutely delicious! Their online ordering system is great. I didn't have any problems with picking up the order and it was ready as soon as I walked in! The staff were very friendly and the restaurant was clean and well-kept. We ordered a regular sized "Famous Philly" and "The American Classic" and both were SO good. I'm a native Texan, so I love good queso. Now, I'm not a Cheesesteak connoisseur by any means, but this Famous Philly tasted just like queso blanco with fajita beef. It was so delicious. The American Classic is a great sandwich for someone who isn't feeling too adventurous, but wants a really good sub. Overall, this Jersey Mike's location deserves more than 5 stars.
